We had a wonderful stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and the service truly stands out. The beach was excellent, with comfortable loungers, plenty of space, and very little seaweed.
A sincere thank you to Yohangel for taking such great care of us at Liberi and Miraflores, along with Yuleisy, Angela, and Daniela for their consistently warm service. Our butler Reynaldo was attentive, responsive, and always available for anything we needed. Angelo at the VIP beach made every day relaxing and kept us well hydrated and fed.
Dining overall was great, especially Sospiro, Chez Rose, and Seishin. The breakfast buffet and beachside lunches were also consistently very good.
That said, management made a seriously poor decision that is hard to excuse. Heavy equipment was operated on the beach overnight directly outside guest rooms, and from about 1:30 am to 5:00 am we were kept awake by loud diesel engines and the constant beeping of backup alarms in our Tierra Suite (Building 8). This is simply unacceptable at a five-star resort. Continuing this work despite guest complaints shows a lack of respect for guests and very poor judgment by management.
The staff were outstanding and did everything they could, but management needs to take accountability for keeping guests awake virtually all night and ensure this never happens again. It truly shows a lack of respect for guests and for the hard work their staff do every day to ensure guest satisfaction.
