We recently stayed at your hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, and your staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. It was truly a pleasure being there, and we would recommend your hotel to others.||One of the main reasons we chose our particular room was for the private outdoor jacuzzi, as we were looking forward to relaxing in a private and peaceful setting. Unfortunately, on our second day, we had an unexpected and unsettling incident that affected how we felt about the room.||A raccoon entered our room through the back door connected to the outdoor area. It startled both of us, and when I tried to scare it off, it stood on its hind legs and growled aggressively. After about five minutes, it finally exited, but not before knocking over several items and creating a great deal of stress.||After this incident, we no longer felt comfortable using the outdoor jacuzzi or the patio area, which was one of the main features we were excited about. While we still had an overall positive experience at your hotel, this incident unfortunately impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the room we had specifically selected.

We were recently at the Live Aqua Hotel for a friend's wedding. We enjoyed our time immensely at this property. The layout of the hotel, and the food and dining options were superb! Only a couple issues with housekeeping (coffee cups - so, not a big deal) and the room (Bluetooth speaker wasn't working - again, not a big deal) but other than that, our stay was PERFECT! Thank you to the Live Aqua team for your attention and service. The whole wedding party mentioned a lot how much they loved the hotel. Will definitely come back again to relax and enjoy the rest of the hotel and the rest of the LOVELY CITY! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel, we stayed in one of the serenity suites. The rooms are very luxurious, had our own hot tub. The pool was clean and water stays warm, there is also a bar. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant by reception, the breakfast could be better. They offer a buffet style, but the options are pretty much just fruit and bread, and it is expensive to include it.

Extremely poor customer service. We called multiple times to confirm day pass availability for pool. We called this morning and the receptionist said to come by, no reservations needed. So we get ready and head to the hotel. Once we got there, a male receptionist very rudely asked if we had reservations (which in 5 phone calls in Spanish was never mentioned) then told us it wasn’t possible and that we needed to get there at 9am. When we called them, we asked multiple times if reservations were possible and hotel staff said they were not needed just to show up after calling to see if there was availability. The staff member we talked to in person refused to acknowledge what we were told by a hotel employee this AM and multiple times previously. The receptionist was exceptionally rude and it is sad to see such poor customer service at a supposed “top” hotel.

Gorgeous place. Staff were nice and try to be accommodating even tough mostly of the time either the forgot or didn't solve the issue.|Buffet breakfast is great and convenient.|Our room was located in a zone of the hotel that smells like sewer 24/7, also they were having some type of conference and they did a couple of parties above and near to our bedroom which was annoying. Our Jacuzzi was malfunctioning and they came to "fixed", but they did not do a thing, so that was also annoying since we got this type of room because the Jacuzzi.|Bed was comfy, shower a big plus. |Gym a little small and basic for such huge complex.|Pool was cold.

The hotel, rooms and service was great but it was not a relaxing stay. They had a special event (Amazon Prime Day) and the music was loud to the point that we couldn't hear tv in ou room. The event organizer for Amazon Prime interrupted our romantic dinner on multiple occasions with bills pieces of furniture that they were building. They built wood platforms under our room and that was loud too. I called their front desk twice to complain about noise but I was not offered a different room or a discount. We were really looking forward to relax but that didn't happen.

Excellent staff, great service, spacious comfortable rooms and beds! The pool is fantastic and a great breakfast service. This hotel is just a fantastic place to stay in San Miguel. Easy walk to town and perfect place to relax and enjoy food and drink by the pool!!!

This place is great! Everything you could want or need. Very relaxing. Good food. Good service (but a little slow for many Americans...get used to it in Mexico). The bathroom design is a little weird...offers limited privacy. The lighting in the rooms could be more functional. Beds very comfy! Staff very professional. Location is walking distance from almost anything in Centro area including Fabrica Aurora. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I booked this resort through the I Prefer partner site. We were planning a trip to Mexico and were planning to bring our dogs, and this resort showed as dog friendly. I'm a planner, and I booked this pretty far in advance. A few months later I was looking at their own website, only to see they only allow service animals and actually don't accept dogs generally, so I cancelled also through the I Prefer site at the end of December for a March 1st stay. Imagine my surprise when I am charged for one night as if it was a no-show and not cancelled. The charge happened the 2nd and I noticed the charge on the 5th and emailed the hotel as well as I Prefer. The I Prefer people were much more helpful, and actually replied to my email but they couldn't do anything about it - the charge was made by Live Aqua. I didn't hear back from Live Aqua for two days, with a note originally of - contact I Prefer we didn't charge a cancellation. After wrongly charging me, they basically blew me off. I then replied with an image of the charge from my card, and CC'ed the helpful but helpless I Prefer rep. They replied oops to me on the 8th and that they are processing the refund. Since I haven't gotten it yet, a couple days ago I asked for a confirmation of the refund, after all they seemed to easily steal my money I at least wanted proof they refunded it knowing it might take time. Two days later and I still don't even have a confirmation number of the transaction. I'd wasted multiple days of my vacation fighting this, and now it's been weeks since I was charged and I'm still trying to get my money back. Next step is I'm just going to call my credit card company - this is nonsense.

Yelp
Beautiful Hotel! Came to Zibu restaurant for dinner, The food was amazing, delicious cocktails and the service was outstanding. The waiter Hector gave a very personalized service even though we were a party of 7. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Had an incredible stay. Pool was fantastic. Maximiliano by poolside was so attentive and made us feel so welcome immediately. He made sure we had an excellent experience. What a great few days we have had here. Also, we were served by David at the Cigar Bar and service was top notch! He knows his drinks. Definitely coming back. Extremely relaxing vacation! 5 star service all around... would recommend to all my friends. Wonderful architecture and amenities. 10/10 will return.

Yelp
This is specifically for Zibu. They don't have a cocktail menu and I hope you like truffle oil, I guess.

Yelp
I have so many positive things to say about this hotel BUT the negative aspects really bothered me. First the staff are very nice, they made a supreme effort to be helpful and polite. The rooms and common areas, interior design is first rate. Our room is unique and creative. The furniture is very functional and beautiful. The bathroom has beautiful cement tiles and the floors were serrated so they wouldn't be slippery . The pool is lovely. There is a secondary pool that is shallow and murky. It has two or four big hot tubs perched on top of water. I guess this is a wading pool but it never looked clean. Dirt, leaves collect on the stairs and this feature just didn't make sense. Also around this pool really beautiful bright orange comfy furniture. (Little diversion)I was at another hotel (Mani Lani on the big island of Hawaii)with a kids pool like this but it was near the beach so it served as a place to rinse off the kids coming from the beach. Also the spa was a pretty special experience. I thought it was pricey considering I found lots of spas in town offering 30-50 dollar massages. But I loved the convenience and she really tried. It is packed with treats and lotions and potions. Ok here is what I hated. The reason I am able to write such a long evaluation is that the housekeeper is cleaning our room at 6:30 pm. We had room service trays sitting in our room all day . We are out of towels and we are going out tonight. We asked twice and they have just cleaned our room. This was everyday during our stay, later and later housekeeping. We had a room with a outdoor private Jacuzzi nice right ? but I do not think we can heat it to 80 degrees . We tried twice and it is about 65 degrees Another thing is that we wanted to extend our room another day and our rate would go from 450.00 to 1,200. There is no way this room is worthy of that degree of increase.. So stay here it is great until it is not.

Yelp
I was at Spicy Market recently celebration my wife's birthday. She got food poisoning and had to be admitted to the hospital for 2 day. Call the restaurant and no response after 10 days. My wife still recovering.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning modern hotel. It has a spa, two restaurants, a coffee/pastry bar, 24-hour room service, and Nespresso machines in the rooms. There are fanciful little details in the rooms like record players, rubber duckies, beach bags, and sombreros. Toiletries are Molton Brown. Service is super-friendly and sincere. The beds have built-in reading lights. I can't really think of anything I'd improve... maybe I would add newspapers in the morning? Anyway, a charming and delightful experience.

Yelp
ZIBU The wine minuscule pour was ridiculous for California, let alone San Miguel were pours a larger (2 fingers) :(( Food was good by LA SF standards but serving were "tres petite". Waiter messed up the order - no biggie but they were slow so has to be factored in. Honestly the upstairs (indoor) bar is the only reason to visit this place. I have had both lunch and dinner here now and would only return for the bar ambiance. very expensive venue for absolutely ZERO view in SMA. Very cool architecture. But overall I'd rather spend my money for food at the Rosewood and the Rosewood Luna bar..... But always nice to have Quality options.

Yelp
The place was truly beautiful and definitely recommend staying here. The location and resort offer so much for a first time visitor as well as a safe and secure vibe. The staff were professional and always courteous, Jose at the Casa Dragones cigar bar was very well versed and educated in the towns history as well as the history behind Casa Dragones Tequila. We had the pleasure to have our own private tasting as the tequila is very exclusive to get your hands on as well as it is distilled in San Miguel de allende and 100% pure. The amenities were easy to access and the food and beverage services and restaurants on site were top notch. Will definitely be visiting again!.
