Live Free Hostel Rishikesh

The place is near the lakshman jhula. We stayed here before starting our Kuari Pass Trek by Indiahikes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The checkin was smooth. Saturday evening they have awesome live music. They let us keep our luggage for the evening while we visited Rishikesh after trek

I came for an India Hikes Trek (also amazing) and the hostel had everything we wanted and was very comfortable. The staff went out their way to make sure I wasn't on my own as a female traveller in a mixed dorm. It doesn't have a communal kitchen but there's a lovely cafe and the staff let me use their kitchen to wash up my bottle when I needed it. Also free luggage storage which was fab :)

The place is full of vibes and energy, with live music happening on Saturday. The room was very clean and proper essentials were provided. Location is very accessible. The staff is super friendly and the reception mam is very cute.

LiveFree Hostel, Rishikesh truly lives up to its name. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The dorms are really spacious, clean, and comfortable, which makes a big difference after long days of exploring. We had an amazing New Year’s party great vibes, good people, and memories worth keeping. What makes this place special is the crowd you meet so many trekkers and travelers, and every evening turns into a story-sharing session from mountains, trails, and journeys. If you’re looking for a place with soul, conversations, and community, this is it.

I had great experience staying in this hostel. Staff is really friendly and helping. They clean everyday the washrooms and rooms. Safety wise also it is perfect if you are traveling alone specially solo woman traveller or girl group travellers. Vibe is perfect. Location is awesome walking distance from many dhaba and restaurants. Also, market is close. Main road is at walking distance you can have two wheeler ride or auto depend upon your convince. Every Tuesday evening they offer free dinner for guests which is also healthy and fresh. And the cafe provide very nice food. I loved thaali. And they have ping-pong table in cafe and preety good collection of books as well. Hot water for drinking also available. Thank you to the owner who's idea of this hostel and the and each and every member of the staff. Thank you so much for providing great budget friendly stay.

Had come on a solo trip. Live free was the perfect vibe for it. Great staff, great guests, great atmosphere. Spent my Christmas and new year’s here, thoroughly enjoyed the company of guests and staff on both occasions. Shrishti and Akshay, the property managers were super helpful and fun, qualities you need from the staff in a hostel… The founder keeps visiting the property every now and then to ensure the experience is top notch. Just that the food ordered in the kitchen takes high time to be made, that needs to become more efficient. Live free was my place of stay pre and post trek with Indiahikes. Overall, great memories, 31st evening was super fun with 40 people ending the year dancing their heart out. Ill probably always stay in Live Free whenever I am in Rishikesh. Until next time…

Everything was top notch overall experience of the dorms were very good. Staff was very friendly and supportive. They even have 2 dogs in there hostel if you are a dog lover and a solo backpacker do visit and stay at it place..😁

Rooms, rates and crowd are the best. They have shampoo, body wash and handwash. Hot water geyser is available. Warm bedding is available. Excellent for solo traveller. Female dorms are also available. Food and music is available at the restaurant.
