I had an absolutely amazing stay at Live Free Hostel!|From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with secure lockers for belongings. The common areas had a warm and friendly vibe—perfect for meeting fellow travelers, sharing stories, or just relaxing after a long day of exploring.||The location couldn’t have been better—close to key attractions, restaurants, and transport, making it easy to get around. The rooftop/common lounge was a highlight, offering great views and a cozy space to hang out.||What impressed me most was the attention to detail: fresh linens, clean bathrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and a homely atmosphere that made me feel safe and cared for. It felt more like a community than just a place to sleep.||I’ve stayed in many hostels before, but this one truly stands out. I would highly recommend it to solo travelers, groups, or anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet top-quality stay. Definitely coming back on my next trip!

I have stayed multiple times ar Libe free hostel Rishikesh and all the times i had an amazing stay at Live Free Hostel Rishikesh! Amberi, Akshay, Ronit, and all the team members were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hostel team greeted us with warmth, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. The food is also very tasty. The games in the cafe are very nice.|The vibe of the hostel is really great, and everyone is accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Live Free Hostel! The atmosphere is super chill and perfect for both solo travelers and groups. A big thanks to Anol and Divyangshu they were incredibly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly during my stay. The common area is peaceful and a great place to relax, work, or meet fellow travelers. The overall vibe of the hostel is very smooth and well-managed, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Located in Tapovan on Laxman Jhula Road, the hostel has a great location with easy access to major attractions, cafes, and adventure points. The café at the hostel is fantastic—great food, nice ambiance, and perfect for chilling out. The staff are all well-behaved, warm, and always willing to help. Another big plus is that they offer trekking gear on rent at very minimal charges, which is super convenient for anyone heading to nearby trails. Just note that a refundable deposit is required for rentals. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly, and traveler-friendly hostel in Rishikesh

​Mainly patronised by trekkers and backpackers, it provides just the type of facilities required by them. Another plus point is the central location and easy availability of shared rickshaws nearby. We stayed in a 'deluxe room'. It was comfortable. Admirably serves the needs of its targeted clientele.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Stay was comfortable and checkin and checkout was hassle free. Place is very close to popular joints like beatles cafe and tat cafe. I also would recommend the inhouse restaurant/cafe; food is really good and they have a nice space to just chill and relax in the cafe. Thanks to ronit and amberi for making us feel comfortable.

It's my first time staying at a hostel. It was a good experience with the stay. I'll definitely come back again and stay at this place when I'm doing a trek because you get to meet strangers and go around with them. Only problem is there is no lift so if you have heavy bags then you have to climb up with those bags and it's a little steep staircase.

Live Free Hostel in Rishikesh is good, but honestly not as good as GoStops Rishikesh. The property is well painted, clean, and maintained nicely. It’s not crowded at all, and the service is polite and decent. If you’re looking for a **quiet and solo-friendly stay**, then this place works fine. It’s peaceful, and since only a few people usually stay here, you’ll get your privacy. However, that same quietness can feel uncomfortable at times. For me, the hostel felt a bit too empty—I actually felt uneasy because there were hardly any people around. They also claim to host music nights or concerts, but during my stay, there was nothing like that happening. So if you’re expecting a lively vibe or community events, you might be disappointed. Overall, it’s a decent place for a peaceful solo stay, but if you want a **more social, energetic, and happening hostel experience**, I’d suggest GoStops over Live Free.

Ambri and Ronit make sure you have a hassle free check in, stay and check out. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are cleaner. The location is perfect with every possible thing to do in a walking distance. Starting from renting a two wheeler, trekking and camping gear to curated trips they have it all. The in house cafe is excellent. They help in arranging cabs for airport transfer. There's even a small perfectly curated itinerary for those who have come without a plan.
