Highlights

Livia is our family business run by husband and wife duo Claire Livia Lassam and Jordan Pires. It's named after Claire's beloved Nona, Livia, who was an extraordinary baker, grandparent, and who was filled with more joy than most people ever get to see. It's also a community business, one nestled into the place that we live, and it's the place we want to go to. It's open for beautiful coffee and lovingly made pastries in the morning, bustling for Italian leaning breakfasts and lunches, and into the evenings on weekends for wine and handmade pasta. We hope you love it, because we really do.

Beautiful spot on commercial drive for Italian food and bakery items. Not only is the food delicious but the staff are warm and welcoming. The best pasta I have had in Vancouver! Highly recommend dining on the patio.

Livia Bakery is a must-visit for anyone in Vancouver looking to indulge in authentic Italian baked goods and enjoy a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or a leisurely brunch, Livia Bakery delivers on quality, taste, and service. It’s a small bakery with a big heart, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

A small cozy space tucked in Commercial Drive, Livia is a pretty well known Italian bakery, restaurant, and bar joint in Vancouver. From my experience though, it was a bit of a mixed bag across the board. Notwithstanding the foods, I wasn’t a fan of the self-service style and how chaotic the seating arrangements are. Vibes were just too noisy for me to hang around there for a long time. Spaghetti Carbonara ($26) 7/10 I have heard good things about Livia’s carbonara, and was very excited to try it out when I was in the area. While it looks promising (and had so much potential), unfortunately I cannot recommend it due to one reason: it was extremely salty. I know guanciale and Romano are salty, but it seemed like they added way too much salt on top. Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant and Pear Almond Danish ($6-7) 7.5/10 Great pastries overall in terms of texture and flakiness. The flavour combinations they had weren’t my favourite tbh, however I really like how buttery and well made they are. Curious to try their sourdough.

While the atmosphere in the restaurant is charming and the staff were friendly, I cannot recommend dining here unless you have a very high salt tolerance. As someone who enjoys bold flavors, I don't typically mind saltiness in my meals. However, the dishes we tried during our visit were almost inedible due to the extreme amount of salt used. The salinity completely obscured any other flavors in both the pasta and the clam. We even went to have ice cream nearby to try and eliminate the saltiness, but it was so overpowering that even that failed to remove the taste. We gave it 3 stars only because it just overwhelmingly salty to the point of being inedible.

I really liked the atmosphere. The staffs were very friendly and cool. They only had few items left for the dessert when we visitied around 2:45 on Tuesday. The coffee and chocolate cakes were just ok, but still seems to be worth visiting again to try some thier food menus :>

Google
LIVIA Forno e Vino offers a decent experience overall. The latte was creamy, and the breakfast sandwich was tasty, although I wished for a larger serving size. Seating was limited during a weekday mid-morning visit, but the staff were efficient. While the selection of baked goods was limited, there were plenty of bread options available. The bathrooms were clean and accessible, with convenient baby changing facilities.

Great place for Sunday brunch. Food was delicious, and we loved the dog friendly patio. A toddler high chair was available for use as well 👍

Nice place for a snack, not too heavy of a meal. Can't recall what my friend and I got, but everything was tasty. A bit on the pricier side, but a nice experience overall

Yelp
Loved the cozy and chill vibes here! Tried out their happy hour menu and got: - Crostini-nini (housemade baguette, fresh mozzarella, anchovies, olive oil) $12 - Spaghetti Carbonara $26 - Negroni $10 I thought the crostini-nini was super unique and loved the fresh mozzarella between each slice of the baguette! The carbonara was flavourful, creamy and delicious with the guanciale (italian cured meat) in it! The negroni was alright, had lots of ice and seemed a little small for what I expected.

Yelp
Cute bakery and cafe with great Italian pasta on The Drive. I have been by twice and both times they are sold out of all their pastries. I did however had their carbonara. If you like a super rich carbonara, this is the one for you. I paired mine with a glass of red wine and it was so satisfying! Look forward to trying their pastry one day soon!

Yelp
Me and a few coworkers came here for lunch on a weekday. It had indoor and outdoor seating. Luckily we got a seat because It was busy with with both people dining in and taking out. The weekday brunch/lunch menu was pretty limited. But, they make up for it with quality. I got the carbonara. The sauce was yummy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I wish the serving size was a tad bigger for the price. Overall, service was friendly and speedy. Great ambiance for a weekend brunch. Food was a little pricey, but was delicious. I'll want to come back to try their baked goods sometime.

Yelp
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BAKERY IN VANCOUVER ! It has the best sourdough bread hands down. The shop itself is so cute and perfect for brunch! I love getting their eggs & bread meal, since it has protein, some veg and DELICIOUS buttery bread. It's crispy, chewy, moist wow everything you could ask for. I tried their rhubarb danish and it was so custardy but also tart from the rhubarb. A perfect dessert! They truly never disappoint.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Livia looks like a corner bakery. I've had a latte and pastry in their outdoor seating area a few years back. Then I started following them on IG and noticed how well-received their fresh, handmade pasta was. Glad to finally try it today and it didn't disappoint. The filling was yum as was the lemon butter sauce was a mouth watering accompaniment. Looking forward to trying their fresh baked bread and next pasta of the day offering.

Lynn M.

Yelp
Brunch was absolutely delicious. I had the Classic. So good but the best bit was the whipped lemon ricotta with olive oil to spread on the amazing toast. YUM You order at the counter and then get your table which on a weekend can be tough. We just ordered lattes and stood at the bar and when a table came up, we grabbed it and then ordered our food. One in our party had the weekend ragu which he loved. The coffee was delicious as well You can buy loaves of their delicious bread. It also has a takeaway window Great expo

Yelp
I lucked the F out getting a table here!! I came for brunch on a Saturday morning to get their famous egg sandy! Service is top notch. Every single interaction with staff was incredible! Very friendly/cheery, and I truly felt so happy to be there! I sat outside (which is coverer and more roomy IMO). I ordered the famous egg sandy (Breakfast Sandwich 14 soft scramble, scamorza, pickled onion side of soup or salad). FYI, scamorza is a mozzarella like cheese. This egg was delicately scrambled with butter and the perfect amount of spice. The bun was soft and buttery. I added their home made hot sauce (very similar to Franks - but their own). I loved that. The salad was a mix of weird greens and bitter (to offset the richness probs) but I am adverse to bitter. Price was phenomenal! All around, I felt like I was at a cafe in Europe (with exceptional service).

Liz V.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing. We stumbled upon it after walking down commercial drive. We walked into a warm classy athmosphere, with friendly and tastefully dressed staff. We didn't y order much, just an appy to share (baguette with mozzarella and capers) and a very well made cappuccino but it was delicious and made it a very special night. I appreciated that we weren't rushed or looked down upon even if we didn't order a meal. Also the bathrooms were nice and thought was put into them which I appreciate. I had to paint the memory since it was so special. lol

Yelp
Came down to Commercial Street aka The Drive aka 'Little Italy,' on this chill out Sunday. There are so many vibing restaurants here, it was really hard to choose a spot to eat at. One shop owner along the Drive, recommended - LIVIA Forno e Vino - & a quick scouring of Yelp said - yes indeed. I hadn't been to Livia in awhile so I was eager with anticipation but more so with hunger. Yelpie Sukh (thank you) highly approved Bellini (see her review) at Livia caught my eye. I've had so many crappy Bellinis this year I thought - this just surely has got to be a good one ... please!?! Well I can absolutely concur - my Bellini was tantalising! The flavour caused me to break out in song ... in my mind of course! Pavarotti was smiling down on me. Yes indeed one of the best Bellinis I've ever had! I was craving pasta so I went with the Spaghetti Carbonara. It was an absolutely delicious plate - the sauce, tomatoes & sausage were ALL on point. For dessert I had a Friands - small bread with raspberries & poppyseeds. A must! Mama Mia! I'd get ALL of it again for sure. Hot Tip Alert - if you're coming here to get pastries or breads - order ahead or come early. They sell out super fast. Also please take note of Livias operating hours via the website. Make a reservation - it's always busy here.

Sukh R.

Yelp
Oh I absolutely loved Livia. The service is great and the food is delicious. It's also very quaint. I was able to snag a patio seat on a sunny day and it was great. They have patio seats on the side as well but I was seated in the front. I started off with the granola, which was sweet, creamy and crunchy. Basically everything you want in breakfast parfait. Next I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was also yummy. My friend ordered the pasta of the day. She also ordered two dishes to try and liked them very much. Let me tell you about the bellinis...they are so good. Fresh and a good amount of Prosecco! If you haven't had a chance to try this place out I suggest you put it on your list. I'm definitely going back.

Yelp
We luckily came in on a random weekday for brunch and there weren't a lot of people. The menu looked super simple and there were very little choices, which sometimes is appreciated. I purely came here to try their sourdough bread as they sell those at the side windows and you see people lining up just to grab bread and pastries for home. I got the peach danish and the sourdough bread with butter and jam. I wanted to keep it so so simple. The bread was thick and delicious. I wish that they wouldn't fry up the bread so much as it became hard, otherwise, the flavor of the bread was so good!!!! Must try for sure. I will be one of those people going up to the window to grab bread next time for sure !

Yelp
I really wanted to like LIVIA more than I did. The atmosphere is fantastic, the decor makes me feel classy yet cool, and the service is casual but friendly. But my reviews on here are mainly about food, and that was where I felt a little let down. My friend and I ordered the contorni (leeks with pistachio, lemon, chili) and fritti (battered fried rapini). The contorni, conceptually, sounded amazing, but the flavors fell a little flat. I would've loved some more pop with the lemon. The fritti was also maybe too crunchy. All I could really taste was batter, and the mayo-based sauce didn't do anything to cut through the fried-ness. At $12 a plate, it wasn't bad, but I expected more in terms of flavor boldness. The blood orange aperol spritz was also not bad. I would come back again for the vibes but I am really hoping for a better culinary experience on my next visit... it seems like the brunch/pastries are where it's at, so perhaps a morning visit is in order!

Yelp
My first time at Livia, today. It's bright and clean and has lots of natural light. Good food and tea and comfortable seats and most importantly, lovely staff. They were friendly and helpful. I'll go again.

Joe T.

Yelp
I am kinda obsessed with this place every time I come to East Vancouver. Everything is spot on. Cappuccino is wonderful, yogurt granola insane, pastries flaky, buttery goodness. The basic breakfast is pretty perfect and unique and the griddled breads are scrumptious. Nice service too.

Michael L.

Yelp
Love this cafe! Stopped in for a couple sandwiches and spritzes. Fast, friendly service. Perfect afternoon.

LuFei L.

Yelp
Everything at Livia was so delicious!! The servers were also really nice and I had a great time. We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday morning. The place is supposed to open at 9am but they were a little slow getting ready, so we waited outside in a short line for around 10-15 minutes before they started letting us inside. The space and decor feels very cozy and there are seats outside as well. The menu is quite simple and I ordered the egg and toast. Even though it sounds boring, it was definitely the right choice. The freshly baked bread was toasted to a perfectly crunchy shell with the inside still a super soft sourdough. The eggs were deliciously poached and ideal for dipping. They even have local veggies on a weekly special. I got to have green beans and anchovies. Everything was super simple but tasted sooo good! I also ordered a latte and that tied it all together quite nicely. We could see the loads of bread quickly selling at their bakery window so we ordered one to go as well. They will also slice it up for you into thinner slices for a fantastic morning toast. Will definitely go again soon!!

Eunice L.

Yelp
I love this place! I've come for baked goods at their takeout window before but tried out their in-person dining for the first time today. Their staff was wonderfully helpful and nice. I grabbed a Spaghetti Carbonara for lunch and wolfed it down cause it was SO DELICIOUS! Price was fair for the quality of food and service. I'm so appreciated that this gem exists on Commercial Drive and will be back for more in the future!

Leeza N.

Yelp
Came in on a rainy day for a late lunch, I missed their lunch hour by 30 minutes but was still able to get some food off of their happy hour menu! I decided to get their daily soup ($12) which was potato soup that day and I was so surprised by how much side bread I got, it came with about half a loaf of sourdough. The potato soup was really flavourful, creamy and well seasoned and perfect on a cold day, paired with their house made sourdough was so filling, the sourdough is the best I've ever had. I also got a cappuccino which was really nice too. The restaurant was really clean and the staff are really sweet, I definitely want to return to grab some pastries and try their lunch or weekend dinner service.

Tiffiny H.

Yelp
I was recently in town for the 2019 BMO half marathon, and stopped by Livia later in the day, after the race. I loved the look of the place. There is seating inside and out... cute little bathrooms too. There was a nice vibe, with minimal, but meaningful decorations and music playing in the background. I tried a citrus almond friand, which was good, but I loved the rhubarb danish!! It was so good, I ate it in about 3 seconds. I also enjoyed a nice cup of earl grey tea. I was able to fix it up just the way I like it, with cream and sugar, at the little cart just inside the door. The tea was served in really neat, possibly handmade vessels. Love, love, love. Super nice staff as well. Check this place out!

Kay F.

Yelp
I was in the area for work and knew I had to get some pastries to go when I walked by this cute take out window. The latte was good but would say it wasn't overly special. However the pastries is where LIVIA shines. This time around, I got a lemon pastry which was very fresh and crispy and left me wanting for more. I cannot wait to get more of their pastries, especially when they are fresh out of the oven!

Gary G.

Yelp
As the self-proclaimed King of Takeout, I hereby proclaim that Livia is raising their own already high bar. A spot that has already found a way to make the best egg breakfast sandwich I have ever tasted, with delicious spicy mayo, pickled onions, and pea shoots--has come out with a cucumber-white-bean-spread sandwich that is fully vegan. And there's nothing like the to-go negronis (mine was the one mixed with lemonade). What a way to make a weekday lunch special. And they always give my dog bread at the window.

Shawna L.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait for brunch- I think we needed to walk around for about 35 min before our table was ready. Not unmanageable but plan so you're not too hungry by the end! The service here was very very friendly. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us often. I would not recommend sitting outside on a rainy day (even though it is covered) unless you eat fast because your food can get cold. I can imagine that it would be fantastic to sit on their patio in the spring or summer time. The pasta here was very good. We got a special which was mushroom with a cream sauce. The lasagna was pretty good but a little bit bland/mild in flavour. We also got a lemon curd pastry which was very good. The lemon curd was tart yet sweet and the pastry was very flaky. The oat milk mocha was also not too sweet and warmed me up.

Paula C.

Yelp
This is such a quaint little cafe that has a very clean modern yet rustic vibe. There are few places that can perfect them all - drinks, savoury and sweet! But this little gem does all! They not only does it serve great drinks and pastries but also have some gorgeously plated dishes! We tried out the polenta and the feature pasta which was a rigatoni with light, fresh tomato sauce. The polenta was a very unique dish with mushrooms and a poached egg that perfectly coats the yolk onto the polenta. The drinks are fantastic too. I tried the chocolate hazelnut mylk latte. It was very smooth and light. And we had to try out a pastry as well as there is a constant line up for the bakery. We ended with a chocolate croissants that was drizzled in chocolate and topped with crushed hazelnuts. This is such a great place for a meet up lasting you from your pick-me-up, savoury fare, to your sweet ending without needing to step foot else where!

Sara M.

Yelp
The service here is just so dang friendly. It's like your friends are helping you eat delicious bread, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches... like great friends do. Pro tip: GET THE BREAKFAST SANDWICH I have only had my treats to go, but inside is adorable and inviting and everyone in there looks to be having a lovely and safely spaced time. Pro tip: GET THE ROSEMARY FOCACCIA I will forever be grateful to the Universe for the day Livia moved in. Pro tip: GET ALL THE PASTRIES

Holly L.

Yelp
Such a pretty name for a bakery. This is a farmer's market vendor which has opened a stone and mortar location. Since it just recently opened, some hiccups were understandable. They got my coffee order wrong and my food took half an hour. Luckily I arrived before the lunch rush, as most of the limited seats were already occupied. I saw quite a few curious onlookers who kept on walking when they noticed the lack of seating inside. As for the food, the baguette was solid (not mind blowing), the cardamom knot lacked flavour and was a bit dry, while the toast sticks were crunchy and airy when it finally arrived. I asked for a second cup of coffee due to the long wait and they were kind enough to provide another cup free of charge. Coffee was good and prices were reasonable. Some things to improve upon would be larger menu boards, as the tiny one by the till was hard to read which can be frustrating when busy. Also, the regular market customers were being warmly greeted but new customers, not so much. I would like to try some of their other breads in the future, but given better options in the area, not anytime soon.

Lindsay K.

Yelp
Loved this spot. Interior is really nice with white brick and black/gold accents. Lots of tables and seating. Busy on a Sunday at noon but seemed to be a quick turnover. Order at the counter and they will deliver food to your table. Service was friendly. I had the semolina cake, breakfast sandwich and an americano. Breakfast sandwich was excellent, bread especially was delicious. (I wished the egg was cooked a little more but that's a personal preference.) Only other comment is the dishes for the cutlery were a little confusing - one of the cups said 'clean' but the others didn't say anything (so were those dirty? But they looked clean...) Will definitely come back here, and would love to take home a loaf of bread!

Gourdie G.

Yelp
Quaint little bakery, fairly busy on a weekend day but not long to wait for a table. Lovely staff. Tried the polenta with mushroom, so creamy and flavorful! Will return for breakfast spaghetti in the future..

Vanessa Y.

Yelp
Super small bakery that is very bumpy on the weekends. They have an entire wall of different breads and there's a pastry case too but since we were here for a little more, we ordered off their breakfast menu to get something a little heavier. I got the soft polenta, having seen it on social media. I expected more of a grainy texture but it was cooked very well and it was soft. The egg and mushrooms complimented the dish well; don't let the size of the bowl fool you, it was a good breakfast sized dish. Overall, the place is busy and it can be challenging to get a seat but there is a turn over as people were there to get their foods and left shortly afterwards. The one thing I'd be careful of was that not all their utensils were properly cleaned. Your utensils aren't given to you; they're placed in an area for you to grab so be careful to notice it when you're grabbing.

Charlie N.

Yelp
This place is always busy! Busy patio, Hoppin' brunch. It's usually so busy that we don't manage to stop by because the waits seem so long. However, today we were walking to Bench bakery to grab some sourdough and they were closed. So we stopped by Livia's take out window and got their potato rosemary sourdough bread and a prosciutto-cheese bread square (which my partner and I shared on the way home). Totally delicious! We might have to wake up early for an early breakfast at Livia's one of these days...

Sharleen L.

Yelp
The first thing I noticed when coming here was the smell of fresh bread! It was so inviting. I wanted to have a regular drip coffee but they didn't offer it as an option so I had to go with an americano. I liked their americano because it wasn't too acidic and had lots of flavor. I had a few americanos where they were quite watered down but this one wasn't. Roast Beef Baguette: I just took a bite of it from my bf. It was alright because I found the bread way too tough to eat. I think they used sourdough bread so it was quite chewy. The only good thing about this sandwich was the beef because it was tasty. (3/5) Ham + Cheese Croissant: This was delicious! It was super crispy and flaky which I really liked. There was a good amount of sprinkled dried cheese on top and the ham was evenly distributed so you would get a nice amount throughout. (5/5)

Vladi Z.

Yelp
Great sweets, fresh bread! Prices for a loaf around $8, but worth it! Indoor and outdoor seating, get here early though because the sweets go quick

Sam C.

Yelp
This bakery cafe has a constant stream of people coming and going. The tables doesn't stay empty for long. Great atmosphere, attentive service and delicious offerings will keep me coming back again & again. Before I delve into what I ate, I have to give them props for being so eco conscious from paper straws to large compost bins. These little acts should not go unnoticed. Ok, the foodie part. I love polenta and I practically licked the bowl clean with local mushrooms, soft poached egg and grated cheese. My dining partner had the platter with soft boiled eggs, prosciutto and that sourdough toast (I had a slice, so good!). I chose Americano and their lemon pistachio danish as my dessert. One of the crispiest, buttery danish I have had in a long while. I usually find the bottom of danishes soggy but not this one. It held the lemon cream and real pistachios in really well. The lemon wasn't too tart so perfect for lemon beginners...lol! They have covered seating outside so perfect for people watching even on a rainy day.

Richie R.

Yelp
This is one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had, their menu is extremely limited for breakfast. I took a chance of their "eggs, toast and salad" eggs we're half boiled and I couldn't even peal them without getting broken shells mixed into my salad. The only thing I could recommend is the Americano I had. I hope they improve the menu and along with quality of service, being a little attentive to customers goes along way.

Maceo C.

Yelp
It was good I had the daily pasta which was a gnocchi which was very good. Very pretty restaurant

Aaron H.

Yelp
I've come to this cafe twice. Both times I've come out feeling overcharged for a very small amount of coffee. The first time I came the waiter was a skinny blonde girl. The definition of pretentious. She would wonder off to chat with friends and didn't seem to care about her job as a waiter. Second time I was taken care of a little better, the host was a black haired lady, very friendly, but still not very good at checking up with her customers. So all in all I'd say it's not worth it. You'll get overcharged, that's a fact, and not even have a very good service.

Shila B.

Yelp
Atmosphere: medium to small. the atmosphere was nice and calming and homely. customer service: friendly price: market value food: i came here for my latte and just to finish my zine. notes: lunch rush is busy just a heads up.

Hampton N.

Yelp
OB-sesseddddd with their breakfast sandwich. And their pastries are top notch. Cannot get enough of this place!

Joel S.

Yelp
Delicious food, great macchiatos , sparkling water on tap, Louie Armstrong playing over the speakers.

Mel L.

Yelp
Livia Sweets is the cutest! I would definitely be back based on the place itself and the amazing service. Everyone was very friendly, chill and for lack of a better word, authentic. We were here on a long weekend Friday and the place is consistently packed! Not just for tables, but for to-go as well. It's a constant stream of people with the line-up often going to the door or out of it. The menu sounds great and their baked goods were excellent. Everyone really liked the breakfast sandwiches which were the big winners. The egg and soldiers were a little lacking in flavours and although I read other people rave about the polenta with mushrooms, after the first few bites (which were good), the taste got a little boring.

Louis S.

Yelp
utterly wondrous food. the bread-maker in chief needs the Order of Canada immediately. the bread is incredibly light, fluffy and delicious. awesome spot.

Sandra G.

Yelp
Sorry, but I don't get it. Everything I've had from here has been boring. A bunch of white dough cooked with not enough filling. Wanted to like this place. We gave it three tries but there are so many better places on the Drive for a coffee and pastry. I see the lineups, but just don't get it. Trendy I guess but nothing special.

Ralph T.

Yelp
My wife and I were looking forward to trying this new place. The space was adequate and the aromas were heavenly. During the ordering process we asked for decaf coffee (decaf Americano would have sufficed), only to be told "We don't do decaf". IMHO, if you trying to establish your business as one that caters to all ages, you might consider offering decaf. The 55+ crowd are most likely going to request decaf, doctors orders!

Jay K.

Yelp
The mug that my coffee was served in had two deep cracks -- yuck. The coffee was less than impressive (I had latte with two vegan kinds of milk). The combination of music and noise made it very hard for my friend and I to hear each other. My child liked the tiny almond "cake" though.

Deandra V.

Yelp
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Popped in for lunch and got the fusilli and zuch. 5 stars, shared the raspberry treat thingy: 1 million stars. Took home a loaf of sourdough : 1 million stars... also took the lemon danish. So frickin delicious. Iced tea was also delicious. Not very sweet, which is hard to find in Canada.

Roz T.

Yelp
Visited Livia today for the first time. Ordered two cookies which were delicious but also ordered 2 chocolate hazelnut lattes which were awful. Neither my boyfriend or I could drink them and we ended up pouring them down the drain. At $6.50 each it pained me greatly to do it but could not drink it. Tasted salty yet bitter , no hazelnut at all . Ick. Go for the food , not the coffee!

Wendy S.

Yelp
Tried their almond raspberry brioche twist and I am sad to say it was lacking in flavour. All I could taste was the bread. On the other hand the hazelnut mini loaf with cherries? (can't recall the name) was moist, sweet and tart. That was the winner and will definitely have that again.

Heidi W.

Yelp
So. This place is very cute and has great potential, but it's currently a service disaster. After waiting 20 minutes for our simple cold drink order, during which time we observed the owner and staff move around with seemingly no division of roles, all bizarrely oblivious to the multiple tables waiting or else confused about who had ordered what, we finally got our drinks...without the pastry I had ordered. No one confirmed that we had what we had ordered and I did not care enough to ask for the missing item at that point. I have to conclude that no one working here has ever been to a cafe, nevermind worked in one. Possibly they are trying to do too much right now, between selling baked goods, espresso drinks, alcohol, and meals? In any event, they need someone to help them figure out their FOH situation. It all seems like it should work, and yet it is currently run like a simulacrum of a cafe -- like someone liked the idea of running a cafe without actually knowing how to run one. It was disappointing. Livia has the potential to be great, but for now, it's a no for me, dawg.

Yelp
Amazing and buttery baked goods! The croissants are some of the best I've ever had. Lovely and knowledgeable staff, they knew the specifics of every single product I inquired about.

Yelp
I loved it. The blueberry ricotta danish was amazing, so crispy and not overly sweet - just the right amount of jelly. Latte was perfect. I love the custom clay mugs, although they do get too hot. Busy place. Service was great! Prices are market competitive. Probably a bit on the slow side to get your food and drinks, but it's worth the wait.
