Our stay at the hotel was excellent. We would especially like to thank the kindness and great attention of all the staff, who were always helpful and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious and very complete, with good-quality products, perfect to start the day. In addition, the room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet, ideal for a good rest. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Small but well maintained hotel. Spacious rooms with kitchenette. Modern furniture. In front of the old market. Few steps to the old town. Vibrant area with a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and housekeepers. Definitely we will stay at this hotel again. The hotel has only one small elevator which is also away from the entrance, might be inconvenient for large and/or countable luggage’s.

Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The hotel is a convenient location close to attractions and train station. The room however was so hot, I could not sleep at all. The AC would not work, and for the price we paid we expected better.

Antonio at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We loved the location which was right across from the Viktualienmarkt and within walking distance to numerous sights, shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the selection of beverages provided in the minibar, and breakfast each morning was incredible. I highly recommend!

Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel my booking on very short notice. Despite this, the hotel kindly made an exception and granted a refund — a gesture that I deeply appreciate. We booked this place one week in advance, but it is not that worth 800 euros, it looks like 2 star hotel instead of 4 after I saw the place. And it is not looking like the pictures which shows clean and new. the room is very old, the carpet is dirty and smells. I just wanted to refund the second day and third day and find other places to stay. However, they need 80 percent of the whole fee. And they refuse to upgrade.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed at Living Hotel Das Viktualienmarkt and it was an absolute nightmare. Our room was infested with hundreds of mosquitoes. I woke up covered in mosquito bites, and my partner — who is a type 1 diabetic — was put at serious health risk because of the bites and lack of sleep. It was completely uninhabitable. The staff acknowledged this has happened before, but still refused to move us to another room that night. To make things worse: • The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room stayed hot and muggy the entire night. • The fridge also wasn’t working, which caused our food and insulin to spoil. • The room was full of mosquitoes all night and we were forced to sleep through it with no solution from the hotel. All management offered was a free breakfast and late checkout. That’s it. I followed up via email three separate times, requesting a refund for that night, and they have completely ignored every message. Absolutely no accountability, no care, and no professional response to a clear health hazard they were responsible for. This hotel has a serious problem with room quality, basic maintenance, and incompetent management. Avoid this place — especially if you value your health, your sleep, or even just basic service.

Free water, beer, nespresso maker. Comfy beds. Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice and large shower. Nifty light controls and doorbell which is disabled by the do not disturb button/light. A "clean room" button/light as well. Cable TV has multiple languages but the English ones are all news. Do t watch TV anyhow - go right outside and beautiful old Town Munich and the market are right at your door!

Great staff very helpful and dynamic. Beautiful boutique style hotel located to the food market and the main places. Easy to walk from everywhere. The room itself is beautiful and has a very comfy room to come back to at night after a long day sightseeing. It is all about comfort here: the walk-in shower with a massage heads included and the remote that controls the firmness of mattress is a real plus factor. The wall panel that controls the lights in the room works perfectly and gives a nice mdern touch. I really recommend this hotel and would definitely be back.

The hotel completely serves the purpose! Great location for those who want to walk everywhere. For those who drive they validate your parking ticket in adjacent parking lot and the fee will be euro 16 per 24 hrs. The staff is pleasant, accommodating and everyone speaks perfect English. They all take an extra step to accommodate clients. We arrived at 3am and front desk was available and helpful. Since we arrived late we slightly overslept. Fiona made sure we receive continental Breakfast. After we decided to stay for another night she assisted us with extending our stay. She also made sure we have dinner reservation for New Years Eve and her recommendations were great. Rooms are spacious enough, some have small kitchen. All of the rooms have a mini bar that includes few waters and beers and Nespresso machine with few pods. Hotel has a modern touch. If we were ever in town we would love to stay there again.

A fair priced hotel near the Marin Platz in Munich. Fairly central position so you can walk all around Munich and enjoy the sites. The unit's I've stayed in had little kitchen closets. You can cook and prepare your own meals if you like. There's a bar and generally a lot of Americans there. Seems BMW training uses this hotel for their folks from one of the South Carolina Manufacturing Facility. Clean and safe. My rooms have included a continental breakfast. You can easily take the train/subway to the airport or a 30 minute ride by taxi on the autobahn.

For an extended business trip, this place is perfect. It's near the train, restaurants, market, and grocery store. And when you get tired of eating out, your room has a tiny kitchenette. Some of the high-tech gizmo's in the room didn't work very well, but I didn't mind.

The hotel is in a great location - right in the heart of everything (the market and the town center). The staff was very nice and the rooms are updated, hip, and clean. Would stay there again for sure.

5 stars for a European room! Decent space to fit 2 suitcases. I LOVE the kitchenette since I'm starting to get tired of German food. Why not? There's a frickin' market outside of the hotel!! The vegetable oil bed is kinda weird but the technology is great! Lights can be controlled from a panel by the bed. Free fridge and mini bar!! Free water! (Which is great because of all that beer you drank at the brauhaus.) Our room even had a door to go out to the patio. :) Decent sized shower with decent shower pressure. No free breakfast but who cares? The free breakfasts usually encourage overeating.

Very poor service, air conditioning did not work, unusable desk for a computer. Staff kept my laundry for three days and then found it in a closet after forgetting to send to the cleaners. Very poor experience overall.

The location is excellent - in the city centre and at the same time no noise, really quiet. The design of the hotel: lobby, elevator, ground floor, stairs - all has a style. Very friendly staff at the reception. But the room was too small for two people (double room business plus). The door to the bathroom when open touches upon bed. The air conditioner was not effective, probably because of extrem hot weather (on10.08. - 14.08. +34 degree in shadow, no rain at all...). The shampoo and etc. were not refilled, there was no shower cap. The breakfast was of good quality, the breakfast room very nice, but the range of food was not enough for that price. We noticed this hotel some years ago and wanted to stay there. We did it this year and we are very happy despite of some small shortcomings.

Hotel is great and the reception staff is respectful and responsive and especially the employee Lisa helped me to find a special medicine pharmacy, quiet and everything in the hotel is touch and close to the city center

very good location near marinaplatz in munich. staff, generally, quite nice and friendly. a very nice restaurant with some vegan food. the lighting in the room is all touch button like a smartphonr and very small. if u use a reading glass you better have it on trying to find each button. bathroom is very small and my shower leaked on to the bathroom floor. was not satisfied with original tiny room and tiny bed, a business class room. a free upgrade made it more reasonable for the price charged.

perfect location right next to the market, all POIs in hotel sight and walking distance from gärtnerplatz with lots of bars n shops.... trying not to use the term that it s located next to a slightly h##ster area
