This hotel is advertised as a 5 star hotel, but these stars are not justified. Where to start? First, the setting of the hotel is charming, in an old cloister, many exhibit pieces around, e.g. an Egyptian work behind the reception. But... I had a room in the third floor, under the slanted roof. The AC was deactivated but it was a hot Autumn day so the room had about 30ºC and no way to cool down. An alternative room had the bet squeezed between two walls, impossible for a 6'6 guy like me. Minibar in the room for some soft drinks - nope. I had to ask for some water to be brought. Conditioner in the bath - also a no. Had to ask for it. Staff was not particularly outgoing and friendly.
When I arrived nobody offered to help with the luggage. Breakfast ends at 10 AM and no offer to make something quickly at 10:05 when I showed up (couldn't sleep in the hot room). Restaurant to eat in the evening -well, that was closed. Nice bar staff though.
Altogether 5 stars for that service? I don't think so. Not worth the money, seriously. Coming back to the city in December and had booked in this hotel but will now book somewhere else.
