Living in Brûsel, Urban Bed and Breakfast Brussels

Excellent B&B in the heart of the city. Beautiful! This B&B was our station for a week while we were driving to different nearby countries and cities. The place is very well kept by the owners Pieter and Caroline. The room is very clean, bright, nicely decorated with high ceiling, beautiful bathroom with towel heater and a nice bath tub with modern fixtures. The elevator goes straight into our room and we had our own spot in the covered parking garage nearby. The kitchen is modern, clean, large, and beautiful. From the beginning of our booking, the owners kept in contact via email to make sure our needs will be provided for before our arrival. We stayed in the family room that has one King and two twin size beds with hardwood floors throughout the room. The room was quiet, very clean, and modern looking with nice classic heaters. We requested to have the two twin beds joined together to convert it to another King sized bed and it was nicely done. The beds were very comfortable with very clean linens and pillows. My wife requested for two firm pillows and we even got nice ergonomic firm latex foam pillows which was beyond our expectation. Caroline made the best breakfasts from scratch with natural and fresh ingredients. Homemade jams, fresh fruits and pastries, perfect soft boiled eggs, and brewed coffee greeted us every morning so we always had a good start for our daily journey. We enjoyed the morning conversations with the owners and got a lot of tips and guidance. An excellent experience beyond our expectations!

Great room, it is big, it has high cealing, it is clean. The elevator takes you right into your room. Lola provided a great customer service . We felt like when you are visiting family, but without worrying about doing your bed or cleaning. The tram stop is right outside, and about two blocks is the train station. Parking is covered, in the building behind the hotel. We didn't need our car at all. Public transportation is excellent, and you have access to free wifi in most public places at Brussels. The hotel also has free wifi. We will definitely recommend this place. It is family friendly hotel.

I was travelling for my work and had an extremely pleasant stay. From the moment you enter the beautiful building with the warm welcome of the hostess Lola to the next day when you check out, you will feel fabulous. Such pretty rooms (nice view!) with fine amenities, and most important, the rooms are impeccable in respect to cleanliness. I would recommend everyone to stay here when travelling to Brussels.

My wife and I are so pleased that we booked this! First off, I have to say that the hosts are kind, helpful, professional and altogether lovely people. We arrived far too early but were greeted with nothing but welcoming smiles. They let us check in early despite the inconvenience to them. Their recommendations on dining and transportation have proven spot-on, so heed their advice! Second, this is a perfect neighborhood for our style of travel. My wife and I both love to stay in areas less dominated by tourists, where one can get a sense of local day-to-day life. This inn is in just such a situation. Close enough to restaurants and public transportation to be super convenient, but tucked away enough to be quiet and romantic. The room we are staying in is the top floor and is perfect for us! Well equipped, beautiful views of the city, and far enough off the street to be quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this outstanding inn!

Very clean and fresh. Interesting room layout with modern furnishing and décor. The hosts were friendly and helpful. ||The old town and EU quarter are approx. 30 minutes walk away, but there is a tram stop just outside the door!||I would recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Brussels.

Very cozy and charming. Modern style very well combined with the old fashion building. My double room was very big and comfortable. Coffee & tea available in the room. With Belgian chocolate, of course! The bathroom is... a real bathroom! With a big shower, a huge sink and an extensive mirror. WiFi. What is missing? Ah yes: the owners. Lovely people. They started messaging me the day I had to arrive asking me to keep them up to date in case the flight had any delay... and then a warm welcome! Much appreciated considering the cold wind outside! Definitely recommend!

This accomodation is a real treasure in Brussels, it's the perfect combination between service and comfort. It has to be mentioned the exquisite attention from the hosts which helped us since the first moment. The rooms and the breakfasts are amazing. We felt like home, next time in the city we will be there again. Totally recommended.

We stayed at Living in Brusel for 3 nights and had a very lovely stay! Pieter and Caroline were extremely helpful and just wonderful people, very accommodating, and their B&B is so clean, beautiful, and comfortable. We didn't realize when planning our trip that we would be there on a Belgian national holiday and that many places would be closed, but Pieter even called Brasserie Cantillon for us before we even arrived to make sure they would be open at a time when we could go, which was so helpful! We ended up having a wonderful tour and tasting there - a highlight of our trip. Living in Brusel is not in the middle of the city where most of the activity is, but that's what we liked about it, too - it was quiet and we were able to sleep well at night, and the city center is a very easy train ride away.
