Mom & teen, we had a great time! Very engaging learning about Kek-chi vs Mopan Mayan dress, grinding corn & cacao (eating it later), tools & music instruments, etc., plants and herbs around the property.
July-August is slow season--wish there were 4-6 more with us.
Special fun learning about snail shells for lime, the plants, herbs and soap berries, too. A full 2-3 hr visit, $60 bz. Delicious lunch, better than at Eladio's Cacao Farm tour ($90-100 bz, a bit over-hyped & over-priced). But worth doing both experiences when in the south.
Thank you Anita and lovely family!
