Absolutely loved dining at Livingston. This is a set menu with 6 dishes you don't know what you are going to eat. I don't eat fish but my husband does so we got to try two different variations of the same menu and they did not disappoint. We were also seated outside in this vibrant neighborhood of Marseille which is very not glamorous at all but it's made cool by the locals. I loved my green carry and the aubergine salad at the beginning. I didn't love the pairing between cucumber and mushrooms which was my alternative to the original shrimp recipe.

Amazing meal at Livingston. The Asian-themed menu on this particular night was fantastic from the first sip to the last bite. The tomato dish we had first was a stand out, fresh tomatoes served with a lightly spiced broth 10/10. The fish dish also ranked up there with one of my favourite dishes I've had for a long long time. Fantastic food.

I just had one of my favourite meals ever at Livingston. I was dining alone (which I don’t think I have ever done!) and from the moment I arrived I felt happy and welcome. The proprietor was wonderful - knowledgeable and warm and kind. The server (i think Vincent?) was friendly and easy going. But the food! I ate five couses - a set menu from an incredibly talented kitchen - each course better than the last. The attention to detail and the flavours were so good that I found myself almost in tears of happiness at the main course. I loved this restaurant. Everyone should eat here if in Marseille. Thank you Livingston for making my visit to Marseille memorable.

A truly beautiful culinary experience. Creative and delicious cooking from a chef’s menu. Most dishes are shared. We had three wonderful starters plus a divine main course with shared veggies. The wine menu is extensive with many mid range choices. The atmosphere is lively and very casual while the staff is charming, welcoming and fun. An excellent experience all around that leaves your tastebuds tingling.

Great food, drink and vibes! We were turned away the first day walking in but they don’t look super busy so I’d recommend booking ahead (unless you are 1 person). Wine and food quality super good and the sommelier (Vincent) had such great energy! Recommend coming back for cute date night :)

Best dinner we had in our time in Marseille! Phenomenal food for the unfussy (as you don’t know what you’re eating until it’s in front of you). Incredible wine selection as well.

We had a truly wonderful dining experience here. The food was absolutely delicious – full of exciting, rich flavors that really stood out. Every dish felt well thought-out and beautifully balanced. Service was excellent, especially from the sommelier. The wine recommendation was spot on and paired perfectly with the meal. The only small downside was feeling slightly rushed at the end due to the next seating. A quick heads-up about timing would’ve made it even better. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food, excellent wine, and warm, attentive service

Overall best dinner I had in Marseille this time! Livingston always works with chef residencies, mine was Miguel Chew from Canada. The menu changes frequently and was super creative and unexpected. Highlight was the charcoal grilled chicken from the woods mushroom on a skewer, wow! The huge donut with pecan and caramel I still dream about though I don’t even like Caramel. And service was the sweetest. Huge set menu for 48 euros pP, I will come back!
