Liyu Mountain Park

Great short hike within the city with a great view of the Taitung city landscape.

I came for the temples but found lots of old people dancing in the park. So many old people. Why does Taitung have so many old people? It’s okay though, they were friendly enough. Some of the viewing points were closed for seemingly the next few months, so be prepared for that.

Nice little get away in the middle of the city. You can find some quiet space on one of the several overlooks to be calm and look over the city b

Scenic place. Be prepared to climb steps n you will be rewarded with good view. There are locals exercising n dancing to music. There is daily farmers market too

Such a fun hike, very close to everything too

Nice and peaceful place to visit. You can also get a view point where you can easily locate Rail Art Museum and a beautiful market. Far away, you can also see ocean and one side and mountains on the other.

Beautiful park with a lot of Pagodas, locals singing & a trail which you go up to see the city from above. Don't skip it shen you come here.

Steps steps steps steps. Felt that this park is a little underwhelming. There were a lot of little flies flying around too. Please bring insect repellant if you’re thinking of coming here.
