Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Cascais before doing a few days in Lisbon. The staff were so lovely and even upgraded our room for free as they had a private available and we had booked in for a shared dorm. The facilities were all very clean and they had a shared kitchen and fridge which were free to use. They also had beach towels and other extras that were free for hostel guests to use. The hostel is a 5 minute walk from a really lovely little street with loads of restaurants and bars and is less than a 10 minute walk from the main centre. Overall I would highly recommend staying here to anyone passing through for a few nights, it really made our wee trip even better than expected.

This hostel is absolutely fantastic. I am so used to staying in bunk beds that it was a lovely surprise to find myself in a room with 5 single beds!|It is located on a quiet residential street, 3minutes walk from the main area of town.||There is a large kitchen with lots of storage. Cereals, bread, tea/coffee and biscuits are free. A lovely gesture. Also free dinner on Friday night and free breakfast on Sunday morning. ||There provided lockers, all doors are key card scan and it feels safe and secure. ||The hostel has private rooms. It is quiet and feels more like a guest house. ||The hostel offers use of beach towels, parasols, yoga mats and a bike. |They provide a shower towel too.

Great place for a stay. Loved the option to join the activities, and people I met are quite nice there. It's also just a short walking distance from the ocean. The room was nice and spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped. In the common/ dining area, there is also space if need to get some work done.

Great little hostel. Good location in old town but just outside the noisy parts. Loved that they hosted a few group meals to get to know the other travelers. As others noted, the doors are thin so you might hear loud people in the hallway, but there are few enough people that it was never an issue.

we stayed in the the Ljmonade for five nights. Our room had AC, its own bathroom, was clean and had a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The Ljmonade has an excellent location. It's very easy to walk to the beach and to the historic area of Cascais, and to dozens of restaurants. It's located in a residential block and the area was quiet during our five night stay. Unfortunately one of the shared bathrooms was next to our room and we could easily hear other guests' bodily functions which was major bummer. We also found that some of the guests did not honor the rules and made a lot of noise in the common areas well after midnight. Since the reception desk closes in the evening there didn't seem to be anyone that enforced the house rules. If you are someone that stays up late than I doubt you would mind.

This gotta be the best hostel I have ever been to. It was such a warm welcome, the hosts are so kind and open and it is a place where you truly can share your stories. I can only recommend to go hear. You booked at a different hostel?? Cancel that and come here, you won't regret it!!

Really lovely hostel in a quiet residential area in Cascais. Very communal feel, shared kitchen and dining area. Small outdoor seating area. The staff are welcoming, the location is only a short walk from the town centre and nice and quiet. Only complaint is bathrooms looked a bit dated. The rooms were modern and clean and had ample storage.

I’m 20 and this was my first hostel experience. I felt very safe and relaxed, even more than a hotel because the reception is very welcoming and the kitchen and dining area just like at home. The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms too, you get even a towel and a locker to keep stuff. There’s a guitar in the hall so I played just as if I was home. The people that come to there are also very nice. There was some noise going on at 8am because they were cleaning a bed, and there was some light coming through too. It was a great experience and I hope I’ll come back again!
