Llangollen Hostel

All round excellent place to stay. Spotless rooms and kitchen, fully equipped with everything you would need. Super warm welcome, perfect parking and placement for all amenities and activities in the area. Beautiful view from the top room too. Thank you so much for such an easy home from home stay.

We booked the entire Hostel for our family Christmas. We spent four nights and were a party of 11 adults and 5 children and 3 dogs. The booking process was easy and any questions we had were quickly responded to. The Hostel was ideal for us, it is centrally located in Llangollen which is a beautiful destination. The Hostel was immaculately clean and very well equipped, warm and welcoming. We cooked and eat all our meals at the Hostel and the kitchen and dining room space was homely. Jamie had decorated the Hostel for Christmas and he was available to deal with any queries and was amazingly helpful and friendly. The drying room was very useful. We could find no fault with the Hostel and would certainly recommend it for a large group of family or friends. Thanks again Jamie for everything.

Llangollen Hostel was such a lovely place to stay! Right in the heart of Llangollen, it felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, always ready to share tips on things to do nearby. The hostel was also perfect for families—it felt safe, relaxed, and very child-friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the lounge was a nice spot to unwind after a day out. We met some wonderful travelers and made great memories. I would highly recommend Llangollen Hostel to anyone visiting—it’s a true gem!

This is the second time we have stayed as a family at the hostel and it won’t be our last! Like last year, it was immaculate, cosy, comfy, perfect location and exceptionally good value for money. Excellent location, great facilities, especially the well stocked kitchen and comfortable lounge. Jamie the manager is exceptional, warm, welcoming, helpful throughout. Great location centre of Llangollen, really clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended and no hesitancy in returning! Can't wait and many thanks to Jamie and team.

We stayed at the hostel while we were hiking the Offa's Dyke trail. Jaimie was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. We were able to wash our dirty clothes and dry our boots, which was really helpful. Great price too! We were really happy we chose to stay here and will stay here again if we make it back to Llangollen!

We booked the hostel as a family for 4 nights over christmas, it was 20 years since the whole family had christmas together. The rooms were lovely and the downstairs felt so welcoming. It was comfortably one of the best family holidays we have ever done. I would absolutely recommend. one of the most beautifully located places.

Should we visit Llangollen again we will definitely stay here, it is superb, Accommodation is great and very clean, the owner is very helpful and welcoming. Why pay £150 for an en suite hotel room when you get just as good for £59 here? One word of caution, when driving in Welsh built up areas the speed limit is 20mph.
