My friend and I stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have been more delighted. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms are stylish and spotless. The evening food platter was delicious, and it was a treat to sit on the balcony in the evenings, drink wine and watch the locals kangaroos come in to feed. James and Jo are such friendly and personable hosts, and town is only 10 minutes drive away. Thank you for an amazing stay! 🙏

This was the best accomodation of our 2 months trip. James and Jo are such lovely hosts! Waking up with kangaroos just outside your porch was amazing, so was the boutique wine tour we did with James. If you are looking at this and wondering if you should book: YES, DO IT! DO IT NOW!

Jo and James are just excellent hosts and immediately make you feel so welcome. The room is very comfortable and spacious and the setting is tranquil - the visiting troupe of kangaroos every morning and evening is a lot of fun. |We went on one of James’ vineyard tours for a day and this was great value, he is very knowledgeable and it was a super day. Highly recommend staying at this guest house.

Based on last year’s reviews, we anticipated a very nice BnB-type stay. The rooms were fine, clean, well appointed, and the bushland setting was relaxing. But with the recent change in hospitality rules regarding providing cooked food, James now doesn’t offer anything for breakfast - not even cereals or toast (where there is nil cooking required by the hosts). That was disappointing and in my opinion ought to be worked around - many other hosts manage to provide the basics.|James’s wine tour was worthwhile though.

Highly recommend. We spent three nights at Llewellin Guest House in January and had such a wonderful and relaxing break. We booked two rooms one for us and the other for my sister in law, both rooms were immaculately clean and the hosts James and Jo seem to have thought of everything. Highlights were the daily visits from the local kangaroos along with relaxing with a beautiful glass of red on the patio and enjoying the stars every evening. The guest house feels like you are million miles from anywhere, but actually it is such a great central location just minutes from the beach, vineyards and town centre. James offers wine tours and both hosts have a wealth of information to help you have the best time during your stay. We will be definitely be rebooking to return. Thank you James and Jo for making our stay so good. Pros: beautiful and quiet location great hosts clean rooms kangaroos Cons: wish we had booked longer!

We cannot say enough about this amazing place to do it justice. We stayed for 3 nights earlier this month at the start of our travels around Australia and could not have wished for a better place to start. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the kangaroos outside our room which was something we had never experienced before and was amazing. Watching them being fed in the morning was just incredible. Our room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed and we slept so well! The little personal touches in the room were much appreciated. The restaurant recommendations in the room info were also very good. As for Jo and James, they could not have been lovelier, so attentive but not too much. James is amazing in the kitchen and his breakfasts were just yummy. James was also great when recommending wineries to visit and Jo was just so lovely! All in all, a really lovely place to stay and would not hesitate in recommending Llewellin's as a fantastic place to stay. Only wish we had stayed longer than 3 nights. Wendy & David xx UK

Beautiful quiet location away from the busyness of the Margaret River township but close enough to drive to in a few minutes. The beach is even closer. |The room was immaculately clean and included touches such as cheese board, wine glasses and locally produced soaps. The outdoor pergola proved to be a spectacular spot for an afternoon wine while watching the kangaroos feed on James’s lawn. |Jo and James are wonderful hosts. We joined James on one of his bespoke wine tasting tours and it was the highlight of our trip. His knowledge of wine and the background of each vineyard is amazing. |This was a terrific introduction to Western Australia for us!

Yelp
Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained. The view from the room was absolutely amazing. The property is surrounded by beautiful green bush land and the visitors include Kangaroos , beautiful birds :) You feel the peace there. The breakfast were the best ever, Jo and James are so friendly. It felt as if we stayed with close friends. My husband and I had an amazing weekend there and for sure we will be back again. I strongly recommend this place :)

Yelp
Stayed here in July 2016 and had been looking forward to our stay for ages! It did not disappoint. We were made very welcome on arrival and shown around the property. After checking in Joanna made us some hot drinks to enjoy on the verandah outside our room which was lovely. James and Joanna offer a drop off service into Margaret River in the evenings at 6:45pm and then you can catch a taxi back which is a lovely touch. Breakfasts are excellent and offer the best local produce. Rooms are beautifully appointed and well looked after. You have everything you would need - even real plunger coffee! We will definitely be back again as this is one of the best properties we've stayed in in WA. James and Joanna make all their guests so welcome and enable them to completely relax. James also offers private wine tours so enquire about them if you are planning on visits some local vineyards. Highly recommended!!
