Lloc D'Or

The location of the apartment is excellent – right next to the beach and only a 5–10 minute walk to the old town. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The host, Gemma, was extremely hospitable, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and everything was very clean. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Gemma's place was impeccably clean, located right by the sea and the city center, yet very intimate. The hosts welcomed us warmly and hospitably, helping us with literally everything, giving us tips on what to see and where to eat. They helped with further excursions, served delicious breakfasts, and the room was air-conditioned and perfectly clean. Gemma cleaned every day. Gemma is incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home; we were fully taken care of. The kitchen and beautiful terrace surrounded by flowers overlooking the sea made our stay a real pleasure, especially eating breakfast. Thank you very much, Gemma, and we will definitely be back. Beautifull spacious Bed & Breakfast with a large balcony and view on the sea. It’s located on walking distance from the sea and the historic centre. Very friendly hostess Gemma gives lots of information about Alghero and its region. Every morning a breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, sweets, coffee/tea. The appartment on the top-floor with a nice bathroom is clean, the bed is comfortable. In short, the B&B is very recomendable.

Perfect location to explore Alghero (close to old city center and sea/beaches) and Sardinia.|Gemma is a very friendly and pleasant hostess and she provides very useful tips and information about the places to visit and points of interest. She is always taking care of her guests.|The accomodation is perfect: large spaces, very clean, nice balcony with sea view, delicious and varied breakfast (!!!) , …| Staying at Lloc d’Or made our holiday even much better than expected.

We had a lovely time staying at Lloc D’Or. |Gemma and her husband are incredibly kind people and made us feel very welcome. |We booked the top floor apartment which came with a private balcony, so we had amazing sea view and sunsets every day. The apartment was nice and clean and the neighborhood was quiet in the evening even though it was very close to central Alghero. |Gemma served us delicious Italian breakfast every day and made sure to give us a variation of different foods every day. She also gave us a lot of great tips for our trip. |We can’t recommend this cute B&B enough. You’ll have an absolute wonderful time!

Highly recommend this b&b - the photos do not do it justice! Had a lovely cute private apartment at the top with a large private balcony. Gemma & Giovanni were so friendly and attentive, giving lots of tips on the area and a delicious, lovingly prepared breakfast each morning. We went to a few of their restaurant recommendations and they were some of the best food we had on our holiday! Location is 10 mins from centre of town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Easy free car parking all along the street outside and large parking area just to the left as you go down the street.
