This was our first experience at this camping and RV destination. Initially, I reserved a campsite; however, after assessing the weather forecast, I opted to change our booking to a cabin. The reservation staff handled this modification without issue. Be sure to fully understand the cancelation policy. Numerous reviews about the nightmare. Upon arrival, there was a slight misunderstanding, but it was quickly resolved. The location is picturesque, featuring tall trees, a serene pond, and a running creek, along with amenities not typically found at other campgrounds, such as a swimming pool, laundry facilities, showers, and a playground for children. The creek was the highlight of our trip. However, let's not overlook the reality we faced: with the hefty price tag for this slice of paradise, a few upgrades wouldn't go amiss. Our cabin's air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff made family conversations feel like a yelling match. Small cabin had a flushable toilet, a definite plus. There are some spider webs in the cabin. I don't mind them, but they might freak someone else out! The cabin bed/mat's could use an upgrade. We just brought our air mats. They worked fine. The loft bed was comfortable according to my teen. So, the only WiFi was by the clubhouse, which I was totally fine with. Every now and then, I'd get a text coming through while inside the cabin. Very spotty. We brought our pups along and made sure they were on their best behavior since the rules said no warnings for noisy dogs--if they barked too much, guests would be asked to leave. Oddly alot of dogs in the park barked, which is ok in my book. There's also a cute little store on-site for all the essentials and some snacks! Great location, just about 30min to nearby Sedona, Cottonwood and 🍷 wineries. In summary, a beautiful escapade with a few quirks, just enough to keep us entertained and on our toes! I've read multiple reviews of the staff. We're fortunate not to have a bad experience.

We had a great time at Lo Lo Mai. The location was absolutely beautiful. When we got there, they helped us back into our spot. There’s a playground and swings for the kids. The creek is beautiful. 10 minutes from Cottonwood and a few minutes from the wineries. The only negative review I can say, is that quiet hours are until 9am. We have young children and 9 is a little late. Besides that we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

An absolute gem. Campsites are gorgeous and shaded. Lack of cell means kids are actually outdoors being active! So far, the best rv or tent campground I’ve experienced, with the exception of customer service, which feels exhausted and uninspired. For the price I think it’s reasonable to expect a smile here and there. More of a “host” presence would also be nice… there’s essentially no way to contact staff between 6:30 pm and 9 am. Skunks are in abundance- though they don’t bother anything unless it bothers them (dog owners, be vigilant!) 😉

I visited Lolo Mai in early march of 2025. They were very helpful and kind. We felt very welcome. They asked us where we come from and gave the opportunity to share a little about ourselves. They have access to a small creek, the sound of flowing water adds so much to the tranquil atmosphere of the place. There are also a couple different kinds of animals on-site including ducks, goats, and alpacas. This is a plus if you’re camping with kids. The staff were really helpful and informative, they told us about a quick hike just across from the campgrounds entrance that was a good uphill challenge for any level of hiker. We found some cool ancient ruins when we reached the top. We enjoyed our sweet but short time there. They also had water and power hook-ups that made our stay so convenient. I’d recommend them 10/10 times.

Booked this last Memorial Day weekend at Lolomai, which was an overall good experience, but we did have a disagreement with the resort upon arrival. Lolomai camping/RV spots are either groomed grass close to the central campground pool/hot tub/ wifi etc or on down the lane in the dirt with dilapidated bathrooms and dusty roads. Having been to lolomai twice before (first time in the grass, second time in the dirt) we specifically asked this time around for a grass spot. When checking in, we're told us and our other family group were down the lane after being assured we would be in the grass. Spots 48/49 and it was pure talcom powder fine dust that coated everything. 120v outlets didn't work, water leaked, but we still made the best of it for the kids. Lesson learned that it's imperative to call repeatedly to ensure your desired place in the campground. A bit disappointed but overall would go back.

The amenities are nice our kids liked the playground, and the pool was nice to have when it was hot in the afternoon. The pool was absolutely filthy but wasn’t our biggest concern. Staff was friendly to us but didn’t really seem to want to take steps to check on their guests like I see at other campgrounds. The location is decent being close to wineries nearby and Sedona for hiking and such. Other than that it was the single worst camping experience of my life As a seasoned camper… the site they had us at was infested with BITING horseflies… I’m talking like in the hundreds. We kept everything in our cars didn’t leave things out and tried to keep things as clean as we could but they still came in hoards. They were biting our kids and swarming us to a point we went in to ask if we could move up a bit to another campsite to just eat at least, which helped a little but was still pretty aggressive. And look I get it there are bugs in the great outdoors I’ve never had a problem with that but this was not ok cause they seemed aware of it and didn’t take steps to accommodate other groups they wanted to place in those sites. we asked around other sites turns out just the sites on the side we were on aka sites on the water by the j5 side are INFESTED but all the ones on the upper portion of the campgrounds don’t have that problem I assume it’s mostly due to the creek having water that’s running more over there versus being less stagnant. My problem is they are putting people in sites they are very aware of a problem. We overheard staff talking about swarms even. If the flies get like this during specific parts of the season they should warn their guests and make other arrangements. My kids and I are covered in huge painful welts that are bursting caused by the biting flies. The site we had also had a million ant holes but we just avoided those. For the price they expect you to pay for this campground I’d have thought they would take guest concerns on his more seriously. If u have kids just choose a different campsite the amenities are not worth it. We had an option to escape in the listed clubhouse that would have been nice too but it still says “closed” stating cause of covid on it… had I not been responsible for organizing my larger group to be there I would have left on day one… we probably spent another $60 just on fly traps from their general store (which they charge $7.99 each) Sedona and northern Arizona has a bunch of great campsites this is not one of them. Avoid at all costs.

What a hidden gem, perfectly situated just minutes from Sedona! We called last minute and were fortunate to snag a reservation. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and friendliness, instantly making us feel welcome. They even recommended a restaurant, Up the Creek, which we absolutely fell in love with. Coming from Louisiana, we’re usually picky about food when we travel, but this place was a revelation—truly exceptional! The campground itself was spotless, and the pool buzzed with guests enjoying themselves. The next morning, we were delighted by a visit from deer right at our site. The showers? Fantastic—strong pressure and plenty of hot water. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to the area, we’d come back in a heartbeat!

We love this place. Our second year in a row staying here in an rv site. We had 3 family trip with 3 separate families. So they kept us all together on 3 separate sites. You wont have service in the majority of the park and we love it so much. You can take a short stroll to the clubhouse for wifi if necessary. The creek is sooo much fun. Our entire party enjoyed it so much. The sites are really big, you are not on top of each other like most parks are, regardless of whether RV or camping. This will be our yearly trip location. Staff is awesome. Highly recommend. P.s. lots of crawdads, little fishes, birds, squirrels, ect. Only con is the extremely fine red sand (dirt) gets all over everything. Lol

Yelp
I did read the "refund" policy but it still is ridiculous that they keep 20% of your deposit even if your reservation is 2 and a 1/2 months away when you cancel it. $79.96 up in smoke because of their greed. Glad I cancelled and would recommend going elsewhere due to the greediness of this establishment.

Yelp
NEGLECTED rv park totaled motor home next to us When we arrived we were astonished to see the disrepair in this RV Park, especially since we paid over $100/night. We love to rough it, but when we want to have a nicer accommodation we accept paying a higher price for it. This was the higher price without any of the niceties. I could start with the extremely cracked concrete pad, the no privacy between sites, the lack of wifi (they advertise wifi but when you get there they ask you don't use it to stream- only to check emails, etc- We couldn't even do that). The power pedestal was extremely loose and leaning backwards, the cover plate for the breakers was only connected on one side, and the water pressure was very low. I could continue with when we told them we may have a couple come up to stay for one night with us, we would be charged $25 per person. I'm ok with $10-$15 for the extra car, but per person? The main factor in giving this one star is that the night we arrived we were discussing the fact that it looks like they don't take care of the trees, and the next morning the tree right behind us fell on a very nice motor home and totaled it (slide torn away, roof dented in, other slides and toppers collapsed, a hole in the side). The first worker to see it drove up in his cart F-bombing to no end, the second worker said it's the second worst case he's ever seen . We went to the office and explained we did not feel safe staying in the park. The man said he could move us but not refund us. I can tell you that there are plenty of at risk for falling trees in that campground, it wasn't just the one by us. There was a tree literally being held up by a cut off telephone pole. The neglect in the park is apparent and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Our neighbor said he's been going for 30 years (dad bought a membership back in the day when they sold memberships) and he said he hasn't seen a penny put into the place in 10 years .

Yelp
Zero stars, we all understand how important employees are. They can make or break a business, these employees are the absolute worst!! Zero cares, rude, condescending, then to top it off they pair their poor attitude with no care for the facilities. There are so many other options in this area, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Yelp
I have been a member of this campground since 1993 and it is still as wonderful and charming as it was the day I got my membership. My children were brought up coming here and now my grandchildren. Anytime you ask them where they want to go on vacation, they always say Lolomai. It has a wonderful swimming pool, hot tub, and playground for young children, basketball court horseshoes free video rental and a clubhouse that is very nice.

Yelp
0 Stars. I'm a healthcare provider in orthopedic surgery and I can't imagine treating a patient, or anyone in any setting, the way I was treated by Adam. I've never been treated so terribly. My grandmother passed away and I had to cancel 2 days before our reservation. I called and spoke with Adam who was beyond cold. He was extremely rude and callous. Adam would not even let me finish a sentence. I barely got to explain I had a family emergency and he showed absolutely no empathy. Adam was beyond rude and hung up on me while telling me I will not get a refund. I understand policies but I expect to at least be treated with respect and like a human being. Adam has no empathy and it was disgusting how I was treated. I asked to speak with the manager which he was hesitant about and implied that the manager will not be calling me as requested. Regardless of refund policies, NO ONE should be treated this way. I asked to speak to the manager about how Adam treated me and not to ask further for a refund. I'm a reasonable person. I understand policies. I called to see if there were any exceptions for emergencies which there is not. I understand that but I am not okay with how I was treated. Adam needs to be held accountable for how he speaks to and treats customers/others.

Yelp
Rented a cabin but had to bring my own bedding and towels for $200/night???? Really???? Noticed the toilet running/filling itself up every 5-10 mins so an hour after check in I asked the gentleman at the desk if he would be able to take a look at it, he said sure but never did for the 4 days we were there. The bathroom in my cabin was moldy and stanky. The mattresses were just a piece of foam on wood bunk beds. NO TV OR INTERNET AND T-MOBILE DOES NOT WORK AT THE CAMPSITE SO YOU CANT EVEN LOOK UP A RESTUARANT IN TOWN OR EVEN LISTEN TO ANY MUSIC OR ANYTHING ELSE UGGH!!! The campsites looked OK but I would not recommend the cabins.

Yelp
We loved our stay here. The staff were extremely helpful, it was quiet, and the pond and grounds made for really wonderful walks for me and my dog, Floyd. He loved visiting the llamas each morning. It reminded me a lot of the campgrounds I stayed in growing up and I loved it here. If we are ever in Sedona in the future we will definitely return. Thanks for making our stay a good one.

Yelp
Rudeness: The individual working in the office consistently displayed rudeness towards guests. Whether it was answering questions, handling reservations, or addressing concerns, their tone and demeanor were far from welcoming. As paying customers, we expected a certain level of professionalism. However, the office staff seemed disinterested and dismissive. Basic courtesy was sorely lacking. The cabins were in poor condition. They were dirty, and we encountered bugs during our stay.

Yelp
Stayed one night passing through and was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great spot by the pond. Place was clean, with all the amenities you could want. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
We went to visit some friends who were camping at Lo Lo Mai. We thought we would have dinner with them, let our kids play together and then leave and put our kids to bed at our place. But while we were just finishing dinner, at our friend's camp site, a very rude employee walks up to us and tells us that we are trespassing and he will have to call the cops or we will need to pay the day use fee. But, "Day Use" hours were over at 6pm, so we might just have to pay for the overnight fee. And, even if we left right then we would still have to pay the "Day Use" fee. Come to find out that the "Day Use" fee was $15 per adult and $5 per child plus taxes and of course an additional charge if you use a credit card. Now, I'm not opposed to paying a day use fee, but we paid over $45 for us to have dinner with our friends, at their camp site, and be there for 2.5 hours and not use any of their facilities. This is an absolutely absurd way to run a campground! They have certainly lost any chance that we would ever camp there. In addition, that employees' threats and the $45 for "Day Use" has earned them a terrible review on every site I can find and terrible reviews from our friends as well. *** Stay away from this poorly managed and staffed camp ground. Don't expect kindness, understanding or quality service.

Yelp
STAY AWAY FROM RENTING A CABIN FROM THESE PEOPLE We looked forward to this stay but unfortunately it was not so good when there are so many issues that should not be, especially when you charge people so much for something and don't provide a "reasonably expected" experience. Dead bugs and stains all over bathroom ceiling, floor not swept, broken sliding door that would not latch, trim around floor boards broken and sticking out, floor boards warped and sticking up about 1" between living room and bedroom, refrigerator door handle broken off, mattress in second bedroom old and cheap with springs felt as soon as you lie or sit on it There is no, I repeat "no" reason a cabin, room, etc should be that poorly kept and rented out. I ran a hotel so I am aware of how simple it is to properly prepare a room for a guest when you care about what you sell. The ownership/management obviously does not care about providing a great experience and staying in business. I will be leaving 1 star reviews on numerous sites and will make sure people consider staying elsewhere.

Yelp
The best thing I can say about this place is they have an overflow site for me, when I couldn't find anything. And I could take a shower It just wasn't the place for me.. not big on swimming in the kids pool, I don't have kids so I don't need that kind of entertainment... I also not one who likes people walking by my campsite saying hello... I go camping to get away from the world... I would rather be primitive than to pay $68 for my tent. (I had to pay an extra $10 because I have a trailer most people use behind a motorcycle (i.e. barely bigger than a roof rack). They mentioned they had wifi -- it only works if you sit on the office manager's lap. To give you an idea what a circus it is, there is a person who severs as a maitre d' doing a pre-check in. One thing I didn't understand was how they had the water spigot right next to the electric outlet.. I get digging one trench, but maybe not keeping electric with water together I should have searched for dispersed in the area.

Yelp
What can I say that everyone else hasn't said. I'm not sure. This place has quickly become one our favorite places. This was our third time here in the last 5 years. It is beautiful and so close to Sedona. You are camping so if you don't like dirt you may want to stay at a hotel. I have read in comments that the staff is not that friendly and although that maybe true of one staff member, all the others are really nice. The first night we stayed in a cabin that was just the basics. The second we upgraded to a cabin with bedding and towels. It had a full size fridge and stove. It also had a shower -the first one did not. There are bathrooms with showers not far away. The pool was clean and because we came during the week we had it to our selves most of the time. The creek was really full and red due to all the recent thunder storms. My kids wanted to float down it but without having life jackets and not being able to see how deep they did not. We also tried to fish a little but did not catch anything. The little store has some basic items and some not so basic items like tarps, sleeping bags and hammocks. They also have ice and wood for purchase. I think the prices were pretty fair considering. Bring cash- that's all they take. You can rent dvds for free and you can also borrow charcoal fire places. There cancellation policy is pretty strict and I have heard you have to make sure you get a confirmation of your dates. We have never had a problem but this is just an FYI. They have a pretty

Yelp
This was a first time for us here and to have hook ups since we normally always camp dispersed. Lo Lo Mai is very pretty, lots of noise from the insects and winds through the trees, convenience of showers a plus, met some great friends and made new ones, close to the vineyards and tons of amenities for kids. Loved the creek was so close as well. It was Labor Day so they charged us for a four night minimum. I get it business. Then I added ONE guest and One car and they wanted 25$ per night for the guest and $10 per night for the car so slapped us with an additional 140$ on the 331$ bill we already paid. First day everything was clean, showers and bathrooms nice...the rest of the weekend it was not touched...hair in the showers, dirt all over, all they made sure of was toilet paper in the stalls. For over $500 for the stay I would have expected much more. What you charge should equal the services you provide. A friend of our pitched a tent on an open site-250$ for the three nights : ( they used no water, waste or electric at the site). It just seems a little unfair.

Yelp
Amazing experience and such a beautiful campsite nestled in the the valley of Sedona. The tree overhang was not only beautiful but also effective shade for our campsite. The team members at Lo Lo Mai were so kind and welcoming, very helpful escorting us to the sight and enforcing camp rules (like curfews for the rambunctious groups). They did a wonderful job at ensuring our stay was enjoyable. The bathrooms and showers were great and temp-controlled! I definitely made use of them as I showered every morning during my stay. I never made use of the pool or basketball court, but would love to plan another stay with time to enjoy the resort some more. We had no cell service but we were able to use a Starlink and get wifi connection.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay in a couples cabin for a week. The environment was absolutely stunning with beautiful trees, lots of space to explore and a nearby creek. It felt like a magical place. Great location, easy to drive to key sites and trails. The cabin was clean and included bedding, extra pillows, towels, DVD player & tv, space heater and a small table and two chairs. I can verify that the staff were not wearing masks, but we did not interact with them much, so it didn't bother us. The Couples Cabin includes a kitchenette. I'm a diligent packer and it drove me crazy that I couldn't find a list of provided kitchenware, so here you go! In addition to a small fridge, microwave, standard coffee pot, coffee filters, toaster, 2 burner electric stove, there was also: dish soap, liquid hand soap, new sponge, 2 kitchen towels, dish rack, assorted pots, 1 sauce pan, can opener, slotted spoon, scissor tongs, assorted silverware, 2 coffee mugs, 2 plastic cups, 1 large bowl, 2 small bowls, 2 plates and 2 small plates. Supplies probably vary, cabin to cabin (I am glad I brought my own colander, small cutting board, chef's knife, and scissors.) Onsite offers firewood for $10 and free DVD check out. They also have onsite laundry (quarters only, $3 wash, $0.25/6 min dry) and a small store if you need basic supplies. I can't corroborate what actions triggered so many poor reviews. It seems every experience is different, depending on what you need - cabin vs. RV vs. camping - and I'm sure this exposes areas that could use improvement. Core to their issues - their reservation system is flawed. Pro tip: Make sure you get a reservation email to confirm your stay! Don't expect cell service or wifi onsite (c'mon, you're camping!). Perhaps go in with low expectations and you're bound to be delighted! Overall, I would recommend this spot for cabin stay.

Yelp
Great resort. Fun for the whole family. Accommodations great for elderly. Added fun for children with the petting zoo. Great people running the campground.

Yelp
Just rented a cabin here and it was an amazing experience. I had a cabin with no shower but a short walk to the shower house. Super clean and the cabin was bigger than expected. Everyone was helpful and nice. Definitely recommend. Already on the waitlist for Memorial Day weekend.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong this is a BEAUTIFUL place! We've stayed here & highly recommended them to many. After YEARS of camping here and absolutely LOVING it we were so excited to book a weekend with the grandkids for the first time. I was excited to call and book but my hopes & excitement were dashed upon calling. When did they start requiring a three night stay on weekends?? Why can't my kids & grandkids have a spot next to us? I mean I'm booking MONTHS in advance. There was no compassion, basic customer service or any wiggle room at all. You cannot tell me that people are booking weekends & staying Sunday nights. So my guess is that they're paying for a night they're not using just to adhere to this new silly policy. I'm seriously heartbroken but $350+ for two nights? Nope. Budgeted themselves out. So sad.

Yelp
We had an amazing trip! It was our 2nd visit in 2 years. We were there for a week and and we had a time! Everything is well maintained and handicap accessible. Yes the cell service and WiFi not always strong but it so awesome outside...why would you want them? However, if needed near clubhouse and office you could get through.. It is worth the 8+ hour drive to get there! We love LoLoMai Springs and we'll return next year! Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of us! Jennifer Nguyen #thanksgiving2020

It's hard for me to understand why a manager would treat a customer like this. The manager had no patience for my situation. I do not recommend this place. The spots are small and not kept up. It is clear to me this place doesn't value their customers. They just need your money. The road driving in is horrible, has holes in the pavement, with bad speed bumps. This park and manager gets two thumbs down ! If you want to stay at the best park I would suggest Rancho Sedona RV park they have the most beautiful park I have ever seen. And the people are nice.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, a little bit dated, but still beautiful. Wasn't expecting to spend $60+ to pitch a tent in a primitive site for one night, but the other campgrounds were full in the area, which was my fault for not planning. The amenities in the resort were nice, WiFi by the pool and clubhouse, lots of variety of snacks and supplies at the clubhouse too. The grounds were well kept, and the staff were readily available and very friendly. The only downside was the cats in the clubhouse, it had a certain odor to the room. Personal choice for the staff, as I wasn't in there very long getting checked in. Shower house disappointed me when I took my first shower, it was ice cold. But the opposite end had a hot shower the next morning? Maybe it was operator error. The resort is also close enough to Sedona that going back to town for anything isn't that big of a chore. We went to town early the next morning for coffees and it wasn't bad at all. All in all, it was a nice place to spend the night. There were quite a few families staying there also!! We checked in around 4 pm, and then packed up the next day and we checked out by 11am.

Yelp
If I were reviewing this solely on the location and the beauty of the campground it would be 5/5. But I'm reviewing this based on the staff, owners and their policies. My friends, family and I have been going on an annual trip here for the past 3 years (maybe 4) and always absolutely love it. So yes, they state that you can't "know more than 3 other families" or some BS like that, but again, we go as a group and we're grown ass adults, so we all reserve the same week/end. Well be careful ever telling them that you are "traveling" with other families there because they will link you all together in their systems, and if one breaks the rules everyone is punished. We made our usual reservation this year (or tried to) and when more than 5 families called in, they said "we will not take anymore of your group. You received a noise complaint last time, and we will not allow you to all camp together." Okay bear with me now, we're all adults, with children (even have a couple of grandparents that have joined our annual group), and we cannot BOOK the same time? Nope. Also, that noise complaint? Never addressed at the time. Not a word. Not one person came to any of us to tell us to quiet down. They didn't give us a single opportunity to correct our "noise" behavior. They just casually put it in "our file" and decided none of us were allowed to be there at the same time. In fact when we started booking (trying to use our spouses names etc, they started to say we all had the same ZIP CODE and they knew we were a group.) Literally F*CK this place. Been supporting you guys for years, raving about you, bringing literally dozens and dozens and dozens of people to your property and you have lost that. We booked a few miles down the road near one of the wineries and the woman on the phone said "are you traveling as a group?!" I hesitated because of my BS experience with your crappy place and she said "We give group rates! The more the merrier!" Seriously, unless you're a mute with no friends and plan to spend a quiet weekend not interacting with anyone, book somewhere else. I refuse to be told as a 35 year old mother, wife and business owner that I can't "camp" with my friends. Get your heads out of your asses. Such a joke. It's been 5 months since we tried to book and I'm still just as angry haha. Looking forward to our camping trip next week at the new location. Oh yeah, there's about 45 of us going. Sucks to lose all that revenue because you're old school pricks huh?!

Yelp
My wife and I just had an incredible 3 days camping next to the water. Lo Lo Mai is a couple steps above your average camp site and the cost correctly reflects this. Spacious spread out sites, a general store with ice, drinks, treats and, some of those other things you forgot to pack. Showers, clean refillable drinking water, Refreshing pool and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Ok I'm wondering if the bad reviews are here to keep this place secret. It is heaven - rv heaven. The guy running it now (part of family) is super friendly. So much so I thought I had entered a cult when you pair it with the amazing beauty. Pool seemed heated, jacuzzi - and Oak creek canyon beats all. Dogs everywhere. Honestly the women were not particularly friendly but they could all but punch me in the face for this beauty. I wouldn't say rude either. We weren't on top of each other and the trees, flowers, all so perfect. Bathrooms were verging on spa like for an rv Park - seriously. Also these people (family) took a beautiful piece of land when it was cheap, bought it up and shared it with ALL OF US! They could have built on it and kept it private. Pretty good deal I think. No other camping site right on this beautiful part of the creek that Iknow of.

Yelp
Amazing location. Simply amazing. I have no complaints. Zero. I read some of the reviews and based on my experience, I am guessing those people didn't care to follow the rules. We love this place and will return.

Yelp
Honestly only dropping 1 star because of price and 1 because there is room for improvement. it's a really nice resort but 72 dollars a night for a back in 30amp is about 50% more than we typically pay anywhere comparable. The Pros: Near Sedona, a nice creek bed by your site. Park is well shaded, trees are great for privacy and scenery in general. Room for most size rigs, tents and even cabin rentals plus a pool round it out nicely. There is a small general store with supplies for RV'ers and some snacks but no credit cards, cash only, which is odd considering you can pay with a card for your site and the store is literally connected to the RV office. The Cons: Do not expect any cell service or very limited at best, this is a great place to tune out if that's what you want to do because we barely had 1X on our Verizon phones but somehow did manage 4G on our air card which is what we use for our Roku in our rig so we were able to have some entertainment while there. Sites are fairly level but make sure you chock in place because our rig looked like it might slip back into the creek if we hadn't used our X-chocks, just something to consider. We were a bit unimpressed with the attentiveness of the staff, the ladies in the office were nice but felt like we were inconveniencing them by having to show us the way to our site and interrupting their lunch. Again only a handful of cards are accepted not the one I originally pulled out of my wallet and when we wanted to get something from the store it was cash only. Very lively camp at night when we were there, didn't seem like quiet hours were respected at all, well into midnight before things calmed down. Road to the office is rough but no big deal, getting out a little harder because it's uphill into blind turns so be cautious or heads towards Sedona if possible. Finally upcharges... everything seems to be an upcharge, the site they give you, upcharge, option for another site no real offer but I'm sure that would have been another upcharge, number of kids, upcharge, number of pets, upcharge... just kind of unrealistic to be up-charged for everything and end up in the 70 dollar range for this place. I've stayed at places that are 5-star resort RV parks that didn't charge above 50 and had a lot more to offer so something to consider.

Yelp
Wow! Had a conversation with the reservation person Sandy and what a terrible person, she seems to be the worst person to be taking phone calls. We were trying to see what availability they have and not only was everything explained with attitude and with a sense of hierarchy she interrupted us before we could fully ask a question or try to understand the way they work it. This is what Sandy said. You reserve two people at a time and pay $21 per person no matter how many people, if you are in the same family/group and you try to reserve separate sites (for the same cost!) they will red flag you and you will be banned. That is ridiculous and as I told my bf that she is being rude she impolitely said byyyyeee and proceeded to hang up on us when we asked for a manager. I will never ever go to a place with a person like this and make sure everyone I go camping with stays away from LOLOMAL.

Yelp
Perfect family or couples get away spot! The beauty and cleanliness of the park is impressive. Rolling river just one hundred yards from our 500 square foot cabin. The kids loved the loft sleeping area. Campfire spot. Grill included. Clean towels, sheets, and hand soap. Cute little clubhouse nook with free DVDs to borrow. Snacks & goods for purchase. Ten min drive to Sedona for hiking!

Yelp
We absolutely love coming here! We have stayed probably 10 times in various seasons. Probably our favorite place to be as a family in AZ! We absolutely love coming here! We have stayed probably 10 times in various seasons. Probably our favorite place to be as a family in AZ!

Yelp
Excellent owners very nice campsites with wonderful views. The surplus store was kind of expensive but it's a long drive back to town so well worth it

Yelp
Decided to just take a drive up there to check it out, sans trailer. Well, for one RV, full hook ups, if available, 2 adults & 1 dog, $52.00 a day. The dog was an extra $5.00 per day. Could be wrong, but in no possible way did that place look like a great value for that price, in the winter with no pool! Could be wrong tho?! ‍

Yelp
I used to count this as one of my favorite places and it was an annual family trip. After my experience today, I won't return. I have never been treated so poorly. I was called a jerk for saying I wanted to speak to one of the owners regarding the situation. I was given information 2 weeks ago that the office refused to uphold. It came down to wanting more money, not good customer service or upholding their word. Very sad. Unless an owner is willing to contact me to try to figure this out, I will take my business elsewhere. Update: The campground office canceled my reservation, without my request or permission. AND... they kept 20%. They state there is a 20% fee if the customer cancels their reservation and requests a refund. Apparently they can cancel the reservation on their own and keep the 20% . That is not ok. That is theft.

Yelp
We originally planned a 3 night stay in our MH with a full hookup. We had some problems with the motorhome and had to take it in and get repaired so....we had no where to sleep. The staff worked their magic and found a cabin for my husband and I. They bent over backwards for us. I read some negative reviews and I don't see it at all. They have large RV spots, super clean bathrooms and showers. They have a library of dvds and books. There was not internet but believe it or not you CAN live without it. I am still waiting on our motorhome and have moved cabins a couple of times but the staff was great. A great getaway spot. Go for it!!!!

Yelp
If I could rate them a zero, I would. Dirty. Crowded sites. Very rude personnel. No cell service. Internet not functioning. Personnel not wearing masks, ever. Had to go to town to get any cell or WiFi service for researching the area and for online college class. Nobody answered phone when we tried calling to cancel our site. In the morning we were told the manager would be in at 8:30 am and we could discuss our issues with him. We waited and he finally showed up at 9 am. He was rude and arrogant. He said we should have asked more questions about the WiFi when we made reservations. We expected advertising they had WiFi meant it would actually be functioning. Silly us. Short answer, no refund and terrible park, with awful management. Seems to be a consistent recent theme as I read recent reviews. Wish we had known, so hoping we can save others the hassle. Don't go here!!!!

Yelp
This place has an IRON CLAD CANCELLATION POLICY.... they don't have one.... they don't care if you have a death in the family or a serious medical emergency ..... they WONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK WHATSOEVER..... That is kinda "whack" They have a very strict, non-refundable and un-flexible cancellation policy.... THEY BASICALLY DON'T OFFER ANY AT ALL.... You have a minimum 14 day cancellation policy.... and you don't get a REFUND you get a credit to stay back at the resort.... We had a "life happens" change of plans and NOPE .... they didn't care.... no refund whatsoever.... and they were hella rude.....

Yelp
Rude and poor customer service! Don't call them if you want to inquire about their campground. Apparently, they don't tolerant questions about their facility.

Yelp
The campground is very attractive with lots of amenities. We were extremely disappointed, however, at the disrespect shown by the staff--no masks and no social distancing.

Yelp
PLEASE READ, Lo-Lo-Mai will bait and switch you. We were 3x returning customers, and this is not a complaint about rudeness, or other trivial matters. My wife booked us in for Thanksgiving day, plus the next 2 nights in a cabin. We've stayed at Lo-Lo-Mai 3 times before and have always had a lovely time. However, this time, they bait and switched us to a nasty, run down granny flat that's not on their main campground property. The location is not even represented on the map found on their website. It was dirty, a bunch of smudges covering the walls inside, depressing couch and bed, with broken fixtures and a broken door in the bathroom (The bathroom door which lead outside, was a solid door, but you could see through it. Like literally cracks running up and down the door, and you could see daylight). Plus, it was NOT a cabin. My wife was told over the phone when we booked, that all of the couples cabins were taken, but they had a larger "cabin" for $125, which was $20 more than the couples cabin. Seeing how it was going to be Thanksgiving, and it was our 15 year wedding anniversary, we opted to spring for the more expensive option to treat ourselves. Plus, since we've been here 3 times before, we've seen the outside of the larger cabins and they looked nice. After we were driven up a private dirt road, off of the campground, and we viewed the state of the place, and realized it was uninhabitable. We complained to the staff about the switch, and that we were supposed to be in a cabin, but they said they were all booked and could do nothing, and would not refund us the night. They did acknowledged the door and said "Yea we know, we tried to caulk it", like WTF? You tried to caulk the cracks running down the middle of the door?? How about maybe buy a new door? I hear they're not that expensive. They did offer us extra blankets, and a space heater since it was going to be snowing that night. How kind of them. We said no, and turned the keys in, and found a place to stay in Sedona, which totally ruined our Thanksgiving night (but I can tell you the place we had to book last minute, Southwest Inn in Sedona, is gorgeous and affordable, with friendly staff and a nice breakfast). We called Lo-Lo-Mai the next morning, the day after Thanksgiving, to see if they would right their wrong (because after all this, we were still willing to try and salvage our vacation and stay at their place), and again over the phone they refused to give us a refund for the night, and offered store credit for the difference in cost, because believe it or not, the run down shack, was more expensive than their cabins. After a bunch of fuss, they did offer to give us a credit towards a night stay in the future, woohoo! Sorry, but that is unacceptable, after refusing to do the right thing and refund us for just the 1 night in the bait n switch house, we will never return to your camp ground. At this point we decided our vacation was pretty much a bust, and we decided to drive back the 7 hours to San Diego. The young lady, Carly, that helped us over the phone, was nice at first, but once we declined the "credit" towards a future stay, or store credit, the conversation turned south and she quickly dropped the nice guy act. She wasn't rude, but you could tell she was going to offer nothing other than store credit, or a credit towards the future. Ok, so let me get this right, you keep our money, and we come back to you? Yea, how about no. So in conclusion, my wife and I were looking forward to a nice 3 night stay over the Thanksgiving weekend and our 15 year wedding anniversary, only to be bait and switched to a run down, off property, granny flat. We drove 7 hours to get there, and had to turn around and drive 7 hours back. Completely destroyed our vacation, and completely tainted the 3 other trips we've had to Lo-Lo-Mai. We were loyal, repeat customers, but never again.

Yelp
Campground is in a good location l. It's near a lot of vineyards and very close to Sedona. Campsites have electric and water. I recommend getting a spot near clubhouse area. You will only get internet if you are there. No phone service anywhere. The bathrooms are also close to clubhouse, so it was a far walk for us. I wasn't very impressed with the bathrooms, showers, or clubhouse area. All were kind of old and dirty.

Yelp
What a hidden gem!! I saw reviews for this place that weren't impressive and glad I wasn't discouraged. I learned they have new management now and if so, they're doing a great job. First, the grounds are beautiful with trees and a creek nearby. Each camping or RV spot is large and most are under trees. Full hook-ups available. You won't be disappointed in a spot you get. The grounds are also super clean, quiet and tranquil. Even the bathrooms are nice! There's laundry, pool, hot tub, small store and available firewood & grills. This place is not for party people but perfect for families, adventurous travelers and of course pets! We would definitely return.

Yelp
We really loved our stay here! There seem to be something for everybody. We asked for a quiet spot, and they took us to the perfect place. It was a beautiful little site for our airstream that we could plug into, but were surrounded by tent camping sites. We like privacy when we camp, and we got it. There were different types of campsites for all types of campers. Ones with full hook ups that were closer together, And then more separated ones. There were more amenities than you can imagine! There is a pool and hotttub, really lovely showers, a clubhouse with Wi-Fi, camping chairs and grills to borrow among other things. There is a well stocked store, and friendly service. I feel like We really got our money's worth!

Yelp
We had a great stay at Lo Lo Mai Springs in a 38' motorhome. Our space had water/sewer/50 amp hookups. They were unable to confirm until we arrived, some spaces do not have sewer, others have only 30 amp, so tell them what's most important to you when booking. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There was a "welcoming" vibe there. There's plenty to occupy the kids there. A pool, spa, playground, basketball hoop, shuffleboard, a creek and pond. My grandsons saw a skunk, raccoons, and ducks. They had a blast in the pool with a dozen other kids. There was a very nice family atmosphere there. There is no cable tv, and WiFi was very poor except in the clubhouse. It was good there, and I saw young people ha going out there just to use their cell phones. There's no cell signal either, except at the clubhouse. I could not get decent reception from local tv stations, but your experience may be better. They do have a nice DVD library, though, and loan them out for free. I will caution you, though, be very careful pulling in and leaving in an RV or pulling a trailer. The speed bumps are the worst I've ever experienced. One was set diagonally so my tires hit it separately, another set had two close to each other... speed limit is 5 mph but if you can do even 1 mph you're doing better than I did! It's only about a 15 minute drive to either Cottonwood or Sedona, and not much further to Jerome. There's a lot to see and do in the area, and plenty of shops, art galleries and restaurants too. They charged $5 per day for each person over the first two, an extra fee for pets, so we paid $170 total for five of us and two nights. There are also cabins and tent camping spots, I don't know the prices for those though. Overall, we had a great time and plan to visit here again.

Yelp
We planned a trip that would have landed us here for two days, however a monsoon hit the area and kept us away. We still got to spend a night here and we loved it. The campground isn't that close to Sedona, and is quite a drive to an ample store with provisions, so be careful and make sure you get everything to save a long trip into Sedona! The campground itself is beautiful, well maintained, and LARGE. There are tent spaces in a central location - close to the pool and store - as well as tent spaces along the Oak Creek, on the river and some of the spaces quite far away from everything. There's also a lot of RV/trailer hookups! Since it was wet, we traded in our tent space and got a cabin. Even though the cabins are relatively small, they can easily sleep 6-7 with a huge overhead bunk and a sofa and table that both transform into bedding. The cabins come with an A/C, WiFi, microwave, coffee pot, cooking burners, sink, bathroom (no shower, though they are a very short walk away - as well as a laundry room), a patio with an outside table, fire ring and BBQ grills are available free at the campground store - as well as firewood ($8 for a wheelbarrow full), propane, and camping gear. The staff were delightful, very accommodating, the cabin was cozy and a pleasant stay. The pool and jacuzzi was a short walk as was the river - though the flooding made the water unswimmable, it was a cool place to talk to. Near the office is basketball, horseshoes, and other fun times. We loved the short time that we stayed, and sadly since we live so far away we may never return. However, we would love to.

Yelp
Lo Lo Mai Springs RV Park: This park only takes phone reservations. The reservation agent wrote down the wrong month for my trip - the right days, but the wrong month. They emailed me the confirmation at 7:01 on March 17th, I responded to the email confirmation the next morning at 10:17 by email. When I didn't get a response, I called a couple of days later b/c I wanted to make sure we had the correct dates. I was told they didn't have the correct dates available and since the booking was so close to the travel time I had to pay the full amount as a cancelation fee. I told them that was not acceptable and would need to speak to a manager. Someone else called me back and said I could go on a wait list for the April dates, but if I didn't get in that I would still pay a cancellation fee. I said not acceptable and again asked to speak to the manager. I received an email from the resort cancelling my booking and charging me the entire $300. I emailed them the support for my responses about cancelling the next morning and still heard nothing. I called again and asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was "too busy" to talk to me, had given me an offer and since I didn't take it, I would just be charged the full amount. Then we were somehow "disconnected", but giving them the benefit of doubt, I called back and said, we were disconnected and that I really needed to speak to the manager. At this point, I was very frustrated and forceful. They hung up on me again still never giving me a chance to speak to the manager. I cannot imagine why any company would treat a potential customer in this manner. Most people in this industry are so enjoyable and welcoming, but the team at Lo Lo Mai is awful. I know there aren't a lot of parks near Sedona, so I guess they get away with treating people like this, but please be warned.

Yelp
We loved this place. We spent most of our days exploring Sedona and not once minded the commute back and forth between there and our camp site. This resort is equipped for tent as well as mobile home camping and has all the adequate hook ups necessary. It lays near a creek that was lovely to hang out by and walk near daily with our pup and kids. The kids loved exploring and we were able to meet some nice people along the way! 100% recommend this site.

Yelp
I don't typically like writing bad reviews. But the customer service was so bad at this place that I feel others need to be warned. I booked two nights at this campground. I was told I needed to get there before dark in order to check in. And I had every intention to be there before dark but due to an unforeseen problem, I wasn't able to make it. I called Lolo-Mai and explained to a woman that answered the phone that I was running late and hoped that I would still be allowed to check in. The woman handed the phone to a man named "Kipp" who apparently is the night manager and I overheard when she told him "It's up to you." I attempted to explain my situation again to "Kipp" but he quickly brushed me off and said "Not my problem," and then asked "Didn't you know you were supposed to be here before dark?" I guess he didn't bother listening to my situation and was more concerned with scolding me. I wasn't going to argue with him about it so I just told him I'd be there the following day. The next day when I checked in, I asked about in and out privileges. The woman I asked told me it wasn't an issue. A different girl in the background felt the urge to chime in and said "Well as long you don't come in blasting your radio." I was escorted to my assigned space by a man, whose name I don't know but doubt was "Kipp" as this guy was very cheery and helpful. He's the only reason I'm giving this a 2 start rating. I was placed in space 69, which is a short walk from the office and in line with the rest of the RVs. I had been told that the reason they don't allow late check-ins is bc the headlights may bother the campers at night. Nobody in that row was tenting outside their RVs. Plus when I left later that night to grab something to eat, using my headlights didn't appear to be an issue so I'm not sure why I couldn't have been escorted to my space the night before. The campground itself was okay. It's geared more for families. And on this occasion, it was only the bf, my dog and I. Oak Creek runs near the campground and my dog really enjoyed that. I was thinking of booking an extra night when I originally made the reservation but due to "Kipp" I decided not to and will never use Lolo Mai Springs Campground again.
