Good spot to grab lunch/dinner while wandering the Jewish Quarter in Toledo!
We came to Toledo as part of a bus tour. I was starving after the guided tour was over, so I immediately searched for lunch options nearby and came across Lo Nuestro. I wanted to try the local food in Toledo, so this looked like a good option.
We came by Thursday around 12:45 pm, and since it was still quite early for lunch, we were only the second group seated.
The decor inside is super colorful with plants and flowers spread out through the space.
The menu selection is large and I had trouble deciding what to eat, but I ultimately settled on a local partridge soup called perdiz a la toledana y estofada for 22€. My friend got the paella valenciana for 19€.
The partridge stew was okay, but I probably should've read the description more carefully. I didn't realize they add apple vinegar to it, so it was a bit sour. I don't like vinegar in my food, so I wasn't a huge fan of the soup. Still, I'm glad I tried it.
My friend really liked his paella. I took a bite and it tastes quite different from any other paella I've had (in fact, I didn't like the flavor that much), but he liked it, so that's all that matters. I did appreciate that they make single servings of paella here.
Would recommend Lo Nuestro to anyone looking to try some local Toledo dishes!
