"With chandeliers and dusty wine barrels mounted on the wall, Lo Pinyol has the air of a bodega from a bygone era, with brightly patterned Catalan floor tiles, marble tables, lamps, and paintings. Wine's why you're here; the list is helpfully color-coded by type (fizzy, white, rosé, red) and flavor spectrum (light, fruity, mature, or, best of all, potent). You'll be able to taste whatever you select, and pair it with pintxos." - Gemma Askham

Exceptional. Must visit! So many dishes it's hard to pick a favourite, specials or off the menu. Good wine selection and great atmosphere. Groups or intimate, whatever you're in the mood for... Even with a beer at the bar.

One of my favorite spots in Barcelona. The restaurant itself has a really cute homey style, the owner is really really friendly as well. Every dish we ordered is amazing, super creative combination in flavor. A must-try spot.

This lovely place is closing down! Hurry up and book a table before early Christmas 2022. After that, it will be shut down due to high rents. We were drawn into this fabulous place by the books we saw inside. Once inside we tasted delicious red wine of the house and Spanish cheese, smoked salmon etcetera. Excellent service by the young waitress, nice ambience with local people. So sad it will close down (due to gentrification?). It should have been able to fill this place with happiness for another hundred years. But no. Still glad we we were able to experience it. And, I highly recommend the vino de la casa. So good!

Was looking for a snack to tide me over until dinner and ended up here. The bartender was really friendly and she gave me excellent suggestions for food. Both the avocado toast with Iberico ham and the roast beef pintxos were A+.

The waitress is precious and the food and vermut is always on point. I make an effort to come here any time in Barcelona. You have to try the Matrimonio and order some pan tumaca to have with it! Ok, also get the four anchovy fillets and eat them by themselves with a cold beer. 😍

We waited here while our rental was being cleaned. We were greeted with friendly service, quality tapas and reasonably priced wine. We loved the beer from Barcelona Beer Company and enjoyed several tapas plates. Definitely recommend.

Super nice place to relax and eat wellmade tapas. The cozy environment and the friendly staff make the experience even more authentic. I would recommend to everyone to try both the vermut and the tapas

A cozy spot in between Eixample and Gràcia neighborhoods. Everything was delicious, but the croquetas and pinchos are a must.
