After a exhaustive afternoon around Fort Kochi, I found this cute little café on the first floor. People sitting by the window and watching me downstairs through those potted plants is what made me want to give this place a try. Made my way and ordered myself a nice cold peach iced tea. Even though a little sweet for my taste, it was refreshing. However, the quantity could have been a bit more.
I then ordered myself a Creamy Pesto Chicken pasta which wasn't too creamy. The chicken was shredded and the texture didn't really go well with the pasta since I prefer to have pieces of chicken rather than shredded strands. The amount of oil that was oozing out is clearly visible in the picture. It made me not want to continue. Not sure what was the reason of drowning the pasta in that much of oil. Makes me wonder if it was olive oil or your normal sunflower cos if it was olive, pretty sure they'd be careful with the amount. If it was sunflower, well, that kinda tells you about the quality.
They do have a wide choice of items you can order. Their cakes did look tempting, but maybe for next time.
