Ina Garten's Guide to The Hamptons

"A small roadside cottage that's an essential stop for food lovers in The Hamptons, Loaves & Fishes is full of ready-to-eat picnic foods and specialty groceries — don’t miss the cold fried chicken. Ina recommends treating yourself to a slice of cake here (various flavors are sold daily by the slice or whole), and the shop also offers plentiful pastries, ready-to-heat fridge meals, cheeses, and more, with a few picnic benches outside for on-site noshing. The store was started by Anna Pump and is now owned by her daughter and granddaughter, giving it a direct link to Ina’s East Hampton roots." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

Oh my gosh the CUTEST! Feels like it should belong in a small village town in the UK. The biggest shame is not being able to try everything. I got crab cakes, pea and leak soup, challah and corn pudding. I’ve only tried the pea and leek soup with the challah so far and it is DELICIOUS. Also loved the corn pudding. I just think the branding is very on point IYKYK

Loving everything about visiting this store. In fact, it never gets old. Fresh ice cream, fried chicken, devil eggs, tortilla soup, even the brownies are sensational. Oh and the orange is phenomenal!!! They take FRESH to new heights.

Can we talk? The food is good! Not fabulous! Same menu year round! Atmosphere very local momma and papa Type store But WHITE! NOW!!! Let's talk service!!! NO! I never encountered the likes of these women EVER!! always with the attitude! Very dismissive! I thought maybe being off season a little pleasant! NOT! BUT! People still flock to it regardless! Can't wait for "ROUNDSWAMP" to open!!!!!!!!

We're so lucky to have this neighborhood gem and I'd dress down anyone who states otherwise. The food is fresh, high quality, and the staff are lovely. If you're bored with their offerings, there are many other establishments you can patronize - leave this one to those of us who appreciate it. I never have trouble finding what I need for weekend brunch. It's clean and staff are helpful. Sure, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for and what you pay for here is good food, fresh vegetables, salads, scrumptious pastries, and the list goes on.

The food was fine but so overpriced I couldn't contain my laughter. They had a bag of nuts for $22. Probably delivered by the second coming Himself. Rude staff too. If you are going to charge $14 for a chicken thigh make me feel good about it. Edit: went back and got the ice cream, it was the best ever

Food is good but expensive and service is slow. If you just want to pick up a soup from the fridge, you still have to wait in line with all the people who order at the counter. Would be nice if you could just pay and leave. In other words, have a designated cashier

Yes it’s pricey but you are in the hamptons. So….. The prepared foods are excellent. Go or don’t go but know it’s going to hit you in the wallet.

Very cute gourmet market! All the fancy pantry and deli items your heart could desire. Pricey, yes, but the curation and atmosphere of the shop, plus the quality, makes it feel like a special treat.
