There are a million pharmacies in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour and go to any of the others. The staff here are friendly and helpful but for some reason it always takes so long to get your medication. They'll tell you it'll be an hour (why?) and then it usually takes longer. Meanwhile, other pharmacies only take five minutes for the same medication. I know this place is busier than most but my goodness

Very impressed with R.PH. Matthew Cho. He took the time to discuss all aspects of the prescription medication required..polite, professional, speaks clearly, directly ensuring he covered all instructions and concerns. Another well qualified Pharmacist gave me excellent service three weeks ago, too. This is my neighborhood, which that has changed significantly, so it's reassuring and comforting to meet these professionals re health issues.

Disappointing Experience at Loblaw's pharmacy on Carlton Street - Avoid if Possible! I've had multiple frustrating experiences at Loblaw's pharmacy and feel compelled to share my negative review. This pharmacy consistently falls short in several critical areas. Firstly, their stock levels are abysmal. It seems like every time I go to pick up a prescription, they are out of stock of at least one of my medications. This leads to unnecessary delays and multiple trips, which is incredibly inconvenient, especially when dealing with urgent health needs. It's baffling how a pharmacy can so frequently lack essential supplies. Beyond the supply issues, the customer service is consistently poor. The attendants are often rude and unhelpful. There's one particular individual who barely speaks English, which makes communication incredibly difficult and stressful, especially when trying to understand complex medication instructions or resolve issues. It feels like they're doing you a favor by even acknowledging your presence. To top it all off, they never even bothered to ask if I preferred the brand-name medicine or the generic version. They just dispensed whatever they had, without any consultation or respect for my choice as a patient. This lack of transparency and disregard for patient preference is unacceptable. Overall, my experiences at Loblaw's pharmacy on Carlton have been nothing short of disappointing. The combination of chronic supply shortages, rude staff, communication barriers, and a lack of patient choice makes this a pharmacy I would strongly advise avoiding. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The young male pharmacist who helped me today was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!! Really great and professional at what he does, also good location because you can get a snack/coffee in loblaws or Starbucks while you wait! I will be refilling all my prescriptions here going forward :)

Attention: check your receipts and your information carefully. The staff is incapable of updating customer's information on file, which may end up in extra charges. It happened to me twice in 3 months. After the first time, when I was charged a lot of money for something I was covered by my insurance, the pharmacist "fixed the problem in the system", and assured me that it would never happen again. Well, it just happened again, only 3 months later. This time I was told that they can't do anything about it. Very unprofessional, I don't recommend at all.

Do not believe everything RG below says. The Pharmacist did exactly what the law allows her to do and what she is ethically obligated to do. I've been filling my prescriptions here for 9 yrs. Never had an issue. Not even when they were a brand new pharmacy and all the Pharmacists were pretty much new grads. They always go the extra distance to help people out. There are times when they can't give meds out because the doctor only ordered so much and beyond that the patient has to see the doctor for more. The pharmacist did not deserve the negative review below. She has always been very professional but also kind and friendly. She does not need to be reviewed negatively like below for doing her job. All the staff here are very competent, kind, caring and friendly extremely PROFESSIONAL.

Several errors by this pharmacy. 1,. never answered phone for vaccine booking; 2. arbitrarily gave me a 2 month supply of meds when it was supposed to be a 3 month supply; 3. spoke with the pharmacist to arrange refills and a smooth transition of prescription refills while I was out of the province for 4 months - they never contacted my dr to refill prescriptions & so when out of province I had to have the local pharmacist sign off on a refill. Terrible customer service and attention to detail involving medications!!

Excellent customer service experience with pharmacy. This is not my primary Pharmacy, however, i’ve had several flu shots, etc. at this location. I called the pharmacy on Sunday morning and spoke with the pharmacist (Kevin) and received outstanding support. I am very grateful to have access to this Pharmacy.
