Loblaws Mcarthur Ave

I received excellent customer service from the man working self-checkout on September 28th, 2025 around 9:30AM. He noticed I'd accidentally scanned one of my items twice and came over to rectify it. Was also there to pick up some deli trays I'd pre-ordered. At the event I brought them to, we received great feedback on how delicious the sandwiches were. Wanted to write the store to tell them how impressed I was but am leaving this review instead because I can't find an email address for the store.

Terrible product information. Saw this pet snack kiosque for the first time. Checked every item, display including the ingredient detail sheet and could not find the origin of these snacks anywhere. At the current time, it's unacceptable for a huge grocery chain to overlook this!!!!! Meanwhile, I'm glad to see they brought back lamb leg from New Zealand, hence one star. Australian and Ontario in ones don't taste as good for me.

Nice bakery here. Staff is very nice. Bought a birthday cake here. Super fresh and delicious. Good bread selection as well. Overall its convenient because of the location for me and I tend to gravitate towards the PC products the most. Clean and tidy location. Huge, and fresh.

The store needs security guards to kick out the crazy and violent people. And I don’t mean the homeless people who just ask for change or buy booze without harassing customers I mean the psycho guys who threaten women women and tell them to die. I have been assaulted twice at this location on two separate occasions. The staff though are great and are underpaid for dealing with the area’s bs.

Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe bad. Good deals occasionally if you have the PC optimum app but definitely noticing all the prices going up, up, up🚀 Store is big though and has everything you would want to get on your grocery list. Although it is chilly in there at times. So dress warmer. My last experience was very adventurous. Got to grocery shop with a new water feature they installed. Looking forward to their next addition⭐️

Really large Loblaws store . It is so easy to get lost in this massive store, simply too big. Prices are competitive. The positive is that there is a ton of selection. Something here for everyone. The biggest problem is the bad customer service due to unionized customer service, worst idea ever. Every time I go in the staff is either really new, or are older and really bitter. Don't even respond to hello. The customer service here is a recurring problem. The prices at this store are high. You need to deliver an exceptional customer experience to justify that.

Today I went to the bakery to get the biggest cake since I have long dedication “Happy Birthday ____! From _____ & _______” and they said they are only writing the top part (“the happy birthday part”) because the second part is “strange and no one does it”. Like what? I said “the last guy did it for me” and they acted like they didnt hear anything and proceeded to write the dedication. I ended up just buying the cake but not very happy.

Good place to do your grocery shopping. The managers are a good team. The Loblaws have grocery aisles, Joe Fresh (clothes), dairy, bakery, fresh produce, flowers, Starbucks, Deli, and upstairs, there is a place to sit.
