Lobster - Frankfurt am Main

We came here especially for the lobster. Lobster needed to be ordered beforehand. We also took the starter noodles with Jakobsmuscheln, and tomato soup; both tasty. Strongly recommended. ** Revisit in June 2023. We called to reserve a lobster and wished for a set menu, which included noodles, and dessert. Overall without drinks, food for two people was 110 euro. The sauce of noodles was nicely creamy and the lobster was handled in a customer-friendly style. Really liked it. We were asked to sit at a big table to share it with other unknown people, which was kind of strange. I understand that 2 people shouldn’t occupy a big table but this could be actually avoided sine we reserved beforehand. Luckily we asked if we can move to another smaller table and it was accepted.

We were first time in Lobster for dinner and at the end of the evening we were very satisfied. We reserved places and as we wanted to eat lobster we ordered our dish in advance. The atmosphere is very pleasant here. Everybody is polite and friendly. They have very good verity of wine and dishes. I absolutely will visit this place again. The food is delicious and fresh. I liked the furnishing, many wooden elements in this hidden place. I recommend you to try this place!

It was really busy and packed but luckily we had reserved a table and were seated immediately. The spagetti with prawns were the star of the night but the other dishes we felt were just OK. We didn’t realise the grilled squid would also be deep fried in a lot of oil for example. The bread was just passable and the fish was the same.

Very good restaurant and very cheap. Good wine menu. Friendly personnel. Absolutely easy going place. Lot of very tasty dishes. Chief is from Morocco and very very experienced! Place to be.

Popped in here to get out of the rain and warm up with a glass of red wine and discovered I'd made a BIG mistake eating dinner before entering. The smells floating overhead were mouthwatering! The waitress walking by with a perfectly golden Cordon Bleu (?) gave me pause and confirmation...I must eat here!! Eclectic patrons, inviting staff and an atmosphere exuding warmth was icing on the cake. Seriously, I can't wait to taste what comes out of that kitchen....

We were invited into a double bday celebration and turn out to be a delicious feast 🥳🤪🦐👍🏾

This bistrot is located in a very nice and lively part of the city, near many Biergartens and other place where you can eat. The staff is very friendly (and our waitress spoke French). There are many choices on the food menu as well as the wines list. We had beef in gorgonzola sauce, served with delicious vegetables. The rioja was perfect too. Definitely a place I'd recommend and be happy to visit on a regular basis if I was living in Frankfurt.

I'm a huge fan of french cuisine and the restaurant's small yet very versatile menu didn't disappoint. The steak and lamb-chops were cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious and generous helpings of veggies (carrots, potatoes and mouth-watering spinach). The fruit-gratin was the perfect way to end a very rustic yet heavenly meal. the place specializes in lamb, beef with the occasional fish main course. The menu is very down to earth; don't expect new and innovative french cooking but rather traditional recipes executed to perfection. I'm going back for those lamb-chops!!!! mmmmmmm! Be warned though, we had to plan way in advance to pay this place a visit. Reservations are a must for dinner-guests! The staff are really friendly! and the place really comes alive after 8, especially the bar area.

Excellent quality of food for the price. Had a nice dinner with another couple on Saturday. I had surf and turf - the fillet was huge (and too rare for me at first, but they put it back on the grill and brought it back pretty quickly) and the shrimp were the largest I have seen in Germany. One friend had the surf and turf with the lobster and it was a giant lobster tail - all for €55 which I think is a great value. The pasta starters were perfect and easily fed two people. My husband had the duck which was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. All in a great meal and perfect for a joint birthday celebration. Service was a little slow but I would definitely come back here.
