5 stars just for having actually yummy kale! (I know, seems impossible lol) We went on Saturday at 1pm for brunch (only offered on the weekends) and it was fairly empty. Food was delicious, servings were huge, and the staff was very friendly. Great environment for a meal and also some studying was happening too! Priced at the level you would expect a restaurant that serves kale and avocado to be but worth it. Will definitely be back.

This was the nicest little restaurant. It was so cute inside and easy to find from the Metro. The service was very friendly and helpful and we loved all of the seating areas to choose from. But what really stood out was my sandwich. It was a vegan sandwich (and trust me, I'm a meat sandwich girl) and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I highly recommend stopping by this gem if you are in downtown Houston, we will be back, hopefully to try Happy Hour.

A good start of the day place with lots of healthy eatables in the menu and lots of good energy to create with a combination of spacious ambience and good crowd. Love the Mini meals from Avocado 🥑 toasts to the salad bowls. Even the drinks are superb tasting. Outside seating is an added advantage to feel the place in totality.

Really like the atmosphere that comes mostly from it's friendly staff. The place has a hip layout and feels comfortable to hang out. Most of the food I've had here is good to great! My favorite so far is the vegan taco salad. For starters... It's huge! It tastes great and the ingredients are fresh. For vegans it's a must try! Some people might think it's a bit pricey, but they have Texas sized portions. Plus, the folks that live near there can probably afford it. I'm just saying. The beers are good as well and the manager is a budding connoisseur. He's curating the experience. Look forward to some imaginative local craft beers!

Drop the Mic!! Wow! Fantastic place for lunch!! Cool trendy atmosphere with multiple areas. Great views! Crunchy chicken salad and the Egg Salad sandwich was top notch!! Fresh delicious ingredients within their amazing homemade pretzel bun. Chips for the side. Pickles were delish too!

I'm a fan of the Local Foods restaurants and this location is not the exception. Great customer service, chic & modern decor, and the quality of that food is excellent (semi seasonal menu). The Chicken Pozole soup has a little kick of spicy and the crunchy chicken is delicious, also they have gluten free options for their sandwiches or if you prefer they can make them into a salad too.

This place is absolutely delicious! It's off the rail so it's easy to get to. I recommend sitting on the second floor. It's kid friendly as well. The food can get pricey but there are free refills. Try the weekender menu.

Great vibe. Long line during lunch hours but worth the wait. The food is local and fit for the health-conscious, like yours truly who will lose it for some delicious KALE! I ordered the egg salad sandwich with the kale side and potato salad side. Normally, I can't eat all the food that I get but this time, I was able to finish the whole combo. The pretzel bread on the egg salad sandwich is truly outstanding. The kale side was also delicious. This place also offers lots of interesting drinks like uniquely-flavored kombucha, and what not. I'd definitely come back!
