Local Store Aruba

Local Store Aruba is a great spot with an even greater ambiance. The vibe is casual, fun, and perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a relaxed meal. The food really stands out—especially the loaded fries and funchi fries, which are absolutely amazing and full of flavor. While most of the menu impresses, the chicken strips were a bit of a letdown and could use some improvement in taste and texture. That said, the wide variety of drinks more than makes up for it, offering something for everyone. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you’re in Aruba and looking for a lively place with good food and drinks!

Just spent a week in Aruba. This bar was down the street from where I stayed. Every night it was consistently full of local patrons. We stopped in twice and our server, DD was there both times. She was fantastic and attentive!!! She recommended the "BOOM BOOM WINGS" and they did not disappoint!! The food was great! The atmosphere was incredible. Nice open patio, cozy inside. Someone said this place was "touristy", it isn't. It has a wonderful local charm (hence Local Store). I can't say enough good things about this place. A must stop for anyone looking for a quick and delicious bite to eat and an ice cold beverage!! This will be my first stop should I find myself back on One Happy Island!!

The burger I had was fantastic! Certified Angus Beef is always the best! The homemade salt & pepper chips were also delicious!

For a quick and satisfying bite this is the right place! Delicious burgers, spicy chicken wings and we enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. In terms of atmosphere it is not the most atmospheric eatery, but the delicious food and the smiles make up for everything. Would definitely recommend the Chubato burger (with crumbles goat cheese&honeh), and the Swiss&Jalapeno burger.

A hidden gem in Aruba. The staff are super nice and the food is super filling and tasty. I couldn’t eat anything else after the fried shrimp. Go down well with a cold chill beer.

Every time we come to Aruba we always go to The Local Store. Good food great atmosphere relaxing what more can you ask for on vacation. We have been here at least a dozen times, my wife loves the Local Salad.

Service is so bad. Idk if it’s just me but it’s like everywhere in Aruba has slow, terrible service make me miss the states. Took forever for us to get a drink (just a water) then the appetizer (popcorn shrimp) came AFTER the meal. And it was terrible not crispy at all and hardly any flavor /: don’t recommend getting it. I got the CRISPY buffalo wrap. I been craving a wrap since I been out here. I’m really not a fancy eater. I will say it was good but the chicken wasn’t crispy. The texture def tasted like it was sautéed on a skillet. It was good just not what i anticipated.

Kind of touristy place. Service was fine, food came pretty fast as well. Wings would recommend to order uncoated (“nude”) and with any sauce on the side is possible, just so they maintain crisp. Fried pickles came with tempura batter, which weren’t crispy. It’s also a bit on the pricy side. Overall 6.8/10 (+1 star for friendly service)
