We had the best experience dining at Locale in Noosa. The food, service and ambiance were all perfect! We absolutely loved the Crab Pasta and the Lamb. They also have a very comprehensive wine list - and cocktails to die for! What a great way to celebrate our Anniversary! Thank you the amazing staff who made our evening great!

Google
A nice restaurant with decent set up located at one end of Hasting Street next to the French quarter. We were greeted by friendly staff and the service was quite good throughout the night. The food quality was good but not exceptional. The moment that spoiled our dinner was unexpected flying insects that came landing on our dining table, something I would expect at an outdoor beach front restaurants but not here. I grabbed the first insect with my napkin and told a waiter, he quickly gave me a new one. Moments later, a second one flew across our plates, landed on the edge of the table and disappeared into the dark background. We quickly finished our meal and left...

Thank you to Locale and its staff for an exceptional night! I can confirm that Locale is definitely my favorite place on the Coast! Food, service and the whole place are top notch. Thank you for the wine suggestion, always on spot, the constant attention during our time there and the unbelievable and tasty food! Those crab tagliatelle 🤩 Overall an amazing experience and I just cant stop recommending the place around me. Thanks for making my birthday such a lovely night!

Google
A really pleasant dining experience. We sat at the bar, enjoying the lively atmosphere and live music. I loved the baked scallops, and the spanner crab tagliatelle was exquisite. The chicken and truffle rotolo was the highlight, the sauce accompanied well with the the dish, everything was well plated. Happy to visit another time.

I have been to Locale now probably 30+ times over the last 3 years since moving to Noosa from Brisbane. After much experience fine dinning in and around Brisbane, Melbourne, Port Douglas, New Zealand, Tasmania, Canberra and Gold Coast, Locale is definitely one of my absolute favourites when it comes to overall high quality, consistent quality fine dinning, that comes with a fun loving classy family vibe always. I feel like It’s my restaurant I can go to that always feels like home, which can not be said about all high end venues. Family run, authentic service, cuisine and food every single time. Love it and highly recommended for locals and travelers of all kind looking for a fabulous dinning experience. Ps photos don’t do it justice (will work on that) 😝

Google
We can here for dinner again on our annual Noosa holiday and food was incredible as usual. Dessert was equally delicious and presented beautifully. Service was great and when we arrived slightly early they seated us straightaway. A must visit if you’re in Noosa

Google
Beautiful restaurant, and good service. Food was okay - nothing exciting or particularly well executed. Seasoning a little off. Best thing was the risotto. Wines by the glass were average, not inspiring. Attentive service - can’t fault that.

Yelp
Last time have no chance to book due to COVID and lucky have dinner with good mate alone with super Italy wines and first time Italy dishes with super taste. Nice and warm service!

Yelp
Very nice place for a special occasion. Make sure you book early or in advance. Booking confirmation via text is a nice feature also. The food was ver nice the serves were more than I had expected and quite filling. Thought being an Italian restaurant that the sauces could've been a bit richer but that could be just my taste and preference. The meals including desert are quite extravagant with lots of detail and preparation. The staff were very nice and eager to please. Would happily return.

Yelp
Some of the best discoveries are unexpected. One such example, is Locale, an Italian Restaurant on 62 Hastings St Noosa. Exploring, & popping in for lunch drawn to its gorgeous upscale fit-out. Clean lines, Lots of dark wood, incandescent lighting, ceiling fans, retractable ceiling, and prominent surrounding plants and rock face. Ambience is relaxed, a nice way to have lunch. Service is excellent. Friendly, and ever-present, without being overbearing. Lunch Menu is divided into share plates ("Cicchetti"), Mains ("Pranzo"), as well as Salads & Pizza. Cicchetti & Pranzo prices ranged from $8-23, and $18 - $38 respectively. Start with some amazing sweet potato & pumpkin Gnocchi ($8), with buffalo ricotta, rosemary & sage cream. Unique & divine, available only at lunch. Follow it up with prosciutto & sage wrapped scallops with lemon parsley oil ($8). Another top-notch starter. Continue the gourmet experience with a Filetto di pesce. Snapper with Sicilian green olives, crispy kipfler potatoes, artichoke, white wine & saffron brodetto. Round off with some organic Acquerello Carnaroli saffron risotto, Moreton bay bug, & Gympie baby zucchini. Both mains, are "Wow"! But wait, there's more. If you have room for dessert, go straight to the heavens with the Bombolini. A hazelnut chocolate crème patissiere centred Italian doughnut, praline, & vanilla bean gelato. Add some Valrhona Chocolate fondant, cherry coulis heart, with Saffron gelato, & you have just completed one extraordinary lunch, both in taste & experience. Locale is a must-try if you want to treat yourself, to modern & upscale Italian cuisine. Definitely one of Noosa's gems on Hastings St. Open daily from 12pm.

Yelp
Having read Jad's review we decided to try Locale for lunch - and weren't we glad we did. The whole experience was a complete delight. Service was efficient without being obtrusive from the moment we entered until the time we left two hours later. We started by sharing a couple of entrees, the pork belly which was served with a quince sauce, and the porcini and béarnaise croquettes which matched perfectly with the capers served with them. We followed with a couple of pizzas, the ham, mushroom, olive and red onion for me and the hot salami for Liz - we were warned that the salami one was hot but the balance was perfect, just a slight chilli aftertaste that did not leave a burning sensation in the mouth. We only ate half the pizzas (they boxed up the rest and we'll have them for supper tonight) as we wanted to make sure we had room for dessert. And what beautiful desserts they were! I had the limoncello pannacotta whilst Liz had the tiramisu - the menu suggested that the tiramisu was deconstructed, but the waitress made sure we knew that before accepting the order - and both desserts were absolutely heavenly. We finished up with a glass of limoncello each and an espresso, and walked out very well satisfied clutching our pizza box for supper. Cost? Our food cost $92 and we spent another $80 on drinks - which we felt was well worth it.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance. Great sexy vibes for a date and delicious pizza, the staffie was my favorite. I also loved the gnocchi. The mixed fried seafood was good but not overwhelming. Fair prices if you eat on the bar side bc they have a much bigger menu

Yelp
The food and service were great. The problem was the entree serving sizes and what you pay for them. When you pay $25 plus for entree an you expect a descent serving. Luckily my daughter didn't finish her pizza otherwise I would of left hungry even after spending over $70 on food per person. You pay a lot for what you get, but the food taste great as they use quality ingredients. I think there are better restaurant in town for what you pay for.

Yelp
A well-equipped venue in a great location, with excellent food as well. Here you'll find dim lighting, a modern decor, and an encyclopedic wine list, to name a few. As far as the food goes, I tried the salami plate, which I'd say comes second only to one I was served in Florence, Italy. I don't know if Locale sources their meat from overseas, but from the quality I'd be inclined to think that they might. I also had their mushroom pizza, which was very good. The mushrooms on it were quite fresh and full of flavor, and the crust came close to some of the best I've been able to find locally. My only complaint about the pizza would be white sauce/base which there wasn't much of, resulting in a slightly dry pizza. In terms of flavor, I think a fresh tomato/red sauce might have better complemented the fresh mushrooms. Still, it was a very enjoyable pizza. And then dessert was a tiramisu off of their specials menu, made with beer instead of/in addition to (I forget which) coffee. To be honest I don't think the beer really added anything to the dish, and would have been entirely happy without it. But it was an excellent tiramisu regardless, so no harm no foul. Prices are entirely average for the area. Which, being Noosa, means pretty damn spendy. We spent about $90 on a starter, main, dessert, and a couple of drinks. But the quality of the food is enough that I feel the prices are reasonable, if only just.

Yelp
Flavors were adventurous service swift and professional. Oysters and the stuffed squid. Huge wine list.

Yelp
This restaurant is awesome. I did not expect to have such a great dinner. Its foods, atmospheres and services are all great. Its portion is smaller than the Australian standard but that's not a problem for us who are from Tokyo. The only thing I miss is that I could not drink because I was a driver.

Yelp
Lovely Italian restaurant located in the Paris end of Hastings St. Highly recommend, especially the Ciccetti Tapas. Large selection of wines and sparklings including SA, NZ, French & Italian.

Yelp
Beautiful aspect with the flora behind the glass window that heightened the mood and the bar centred in the middle of the room was great. The risotto was magnificent and the service was quick and easy. Top notch!!!

Yelp
Old but brand new, Lindonis is no more moved and revamped to a slick new fitout at the location of death in the french quarter e d of Hastings street This is on another level of previous tenants, absolutely fantastic central bar area and lounges, low lighting but large area glassed down one side, this looks the goods. Wine list looks good plenty of wine by the glass including a large number of Italians. Food, I went for the scallops starter and spatchcock for main. The scallops were well cooked but prefer more carmelisation, scattering of hard little "bits" which I worked out was pork crackling, way too hard. Daughters pasta and other daughters risotto were both good, wife's pork belly also good but 2 shards of crackling that would have defied a tank to break. Main, now this is how spatchcock should be cooked, lemon infused, baked a few bones and meat falling off them delicious. Veal was also spot on cooked to perfection. When you walk past the kitchen and hear them all speaking in Italian you know it will be authentic.

Yelp
What has happened?? We had several a-mazing meals here a year ago but last week's meal was terrible. The Menu still featured items that had been truly wonderful last year but this year they were not the same standard. Strike One. My entree of Burrata, , Prosciutto and local Fichi (Figs) that I had been dreaming of for a year was assembled with a heavy hand. The figs were tasteless and the Burrata way too ripe. When I cut into it, it collapsed into a runny mess that flooded over the rest of the ingredients. Not only did iIt look a mess but it overpowered anything on the plate which was drowned and buried under it. Strike Two. My Gippsland "Agnello' lamb rack was very fatty and literally the fat was insufficiently rendered in the cooking process , so that the little centres of lamb meat tasted like lamb fat. I tried one 'chop' and then another and gave up. My partners Risotto with Fraser Island Spanner Crab was declared bland and with a consistency of thick porridge.. Again very mediocre. We stopped trying at that point and passed on dessert. I have since heard that the brilliant Chef and Assistant Chef from last years meals have left. Such a pity as last year I considered the restaurant be the best in town. It has lost that crown.

Yelp
It is hard to find good service and great food in this area. Beach towns are just that way....well....this place changes my opinion. Excellent food...excellent service. Well done folks....you have a great spot here! Thank you

Yelp
Walked in on a Friday evening, fairly certain we would be turned away. Were greeted warmly with a joke and a spot at the bar for a pre dinner cocktail. A table was offered and held as we enjoyed an excellent cocktail. Had possibly the best 3 courses we've had, can not recommend the Angus steak and the barramundi mains enough. Were warmly ushered back to the bar where a couple of seats were made available for a desert cocktail. Two espresso martinis again hit the mark. We paid the bill and left to walk off an amazing meal. After a walk along the boardwalk we felt a night cap would be perfect. We were recognised as soon as we walked back in and were welcomed back by the host, the waiter and our previous Barman. Two more excellent cocktails followed and a sneaky one on the house just to prove they can make an old fashioned anyone can enjoy. Even a seasoned rum drinker like myself. The service was impeccable the whole way through. 5/5 doesn't do it justice.

Yelp
This place is just a class act. It scores top notch on pretty well everything. The service is first class and you can recognise the faces from a year ago or more especially the senior male waiters ( senior in class but not age but the 2 probably go together) the food , up market Italian , is just stunning. Wine list is huge & probably worth going for something different. This is probably the best restaurant in Noosa. Out the front is good but out the back by the bar probably has more atmosphere. This place is a must if visiting Noosa. Best to book but if you are just two or even 4 the owner ( Rio) will sort it out.

Yelp
This restaurant is a pleasure to eat at. The staff are fantastic and the food superb. If you like Italian you are going to love this place.
