We've come here for casual date nights and special nights. Everytime the food and service have been amazing. Gourmet burgers, unique takes on classics and just overall fabulous quality. Cannot recommend them enough.

The Local was a cute little restaurant tucked in between buildings that had both inside and outside seating. There were a couple of small rooms for seating. The whole experience was a little odd as it just didn't give a great vibe. Outside they had a guitarist playing but it was too chilly to sit out there. We sat in a small room with multiple tables, pretty roses in vases on the table. The servers had to run back and forth between buildings. When our drinks came, my espresso martini looked like it was half gone, maybe spilled on the trek over??Our server took my order, then took my husbands order (of which, some of the items on the menu were no longer available - so fix it, please!), then the server looked back at me and said, "What would you like? Ummm...I just gave you my order... I don't know, maybe she was overworked and forgot that I had just placed my order. I ordered the pecan salad with shrimp. Overall, the food was delicious and made up for the weird experience.

had a great dining experience at Locals today! my husband had a build your own burger with bison, and he said that it was incredibly delicious. I had Mike’s Beef and it was also delicious. Locals is a great place to stop if you’re visiting downtown Fairhope. :)

We got an outside table which was perfect with shadows by a giant tree and great live music during lunchtime on Saturday 😊 We had pasta and shrimp sandwiches which are also great. The homemade French fry was amazing! The service level was high, and the service was provided by a very kind lady. We had a perfect Saturday lunch 💯

Their shrimp grits is the best!! Several years later, at new location I tried them again. I tried their cod sandwich and it was very very good. Kinda messy because fish was so big but I am not complaint for fish being too big! Their fries?? Wow, they were so good. It was fried to perfection and texture was perfect too. It was worth going back!

We showed up early with a group of 7. Started off with a cheese plate to get and idea of what they had as the advertised to some local stuff on the menu. I the ordered the salad which as great. Then, I had a bison burger that was tasty and the wife liked her shrimp and grits. Nice decor and friendly staff. Small place get there early

Brian, their Chef made everything we ate amazing. His crab cakes are great and we are from MD!! Stacey did a great job serving us the yummy food!!

The experience at Locals was the perfect end to an afternoon in Fairhope. The food, atmosphere and service were absolutely stellar. We can in hungry and left delighted and stuffed! They were also accommodating to our child’s allergy needs and went above-and-beyond to help us after we left something behind at the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Locals!
