Locanda al Moro

Location is perfectly situation between the historic Arab Quarter and the modern central city. I did not need a car to get most anywhere. The manager/hostess Claudia made all the difference; she is completely available and can solve any need. I spent three weeks there and would go back without hesitation.

Set in an old building that has been fairly recently modernized (including a lift), Locanda Al Moro is in the center of the town, up a set of steps from Via Roma. (Follow their instructions for getting there!) We were lucky to find free parking for the night about 100m away. Room was comfortable, and pleasantly sized. We followed the helpful, friendly staff's recommendation for a restaurant, and had a superb meal at Ristorante Hostaria del Vicolo. Early April was quiet season, so we were the only people there for breakfast, which was generous but not quite as nice as at other places we stayed (maybe a 3.5 on a scale of 1-5). But for the price and location, this was hard to beat.

Do you mainline febreze? bathe in cheap cologne? Hate the smell of nothing in your hotel room? Book a room here. You could wash the stench out of your hair and leave quickly so the smell doesn’t follow you. It comes with a bonus for foot soak because the shower drains so slowly that the next person to shower gets to enjoy your dirty soap water. Things that smell better than the rooms at this hotel: The unclean locker room of teenage boys A leaking septic tank A corpse flower The smoking cage at the airport A pair of bowling shoes My dog after she rolls in a dead raccoon A rotting whale at the beach We prepaid for 2 rooms for 2 nights and left after breakfast (which was very good) after the first night. One room smelled so badly we needed to move. WiFi barely works. We have traveled enough to know that sometimes smells are unavoidable or they linger. Nothing compares to the sweet chemical odor at this hotel. Just gross.

B&b nel cuore di Sciacca, per arrivare la proprietaria ci ha inviato delle istruzioni molto precise tramite whatsapp e ci ha guidato telefonicamente per il self check-in. Essendo in zona pedonale se venite in auto non sarà facile trovare parcheggio, noi abbiamo parcheggiato a 500 m per pura fortuna, ma dopo aver girato ben 3 volte tutto il centro. A parte questo, la notte trascorsa alla Locanda al Moro è stata perfetta. Camera non molto grande ma comoda, pulitissima, ben arredata e con un bel bagno. Di notte non si sentiva nessun rumore provenire dalle altre stanze o dall’esterno. La colazione è un punto di forza , molto abbondante soprattutto per la parte dolce. Davvero tutto molto molto buono e ben curato. Prezzo buono. Consigliato!

Bello l'ambiente, moderno dentro una struttura antica. Ben tenuto e profumato. Personale gentilissimo. Colazione ottima e abbondante. In centro storico. Abbiamo parcheggiato l'auto sopra, vicino alle mura e a una delle porte della città e poi 5 minuti (fatti con calma) a piedi. Tutto bene. Peccato che Sciacca è davvero un città sporca e gli odori sgradevoli non mancano.

Abbiamo pernottato 2 notti nella struttura. È posizionata in vicolo pedonale sito nel centro storico di Sciacca. Il b&b è veramente bello e curato. Le nostre camere da 4 erano pulite e perfettamente allestite. La colazione è servita in un bellissimo ambiente ed è composta da prodotti di ottima qualità. Le titolari della struttura sono molto gentili e disponibili. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Consigliato. Raccomando di contattare le titolari per farsi dare indicazioni su dove parcheggiare auto.

Completamente restaurato con buon gusto. Posizionato nel centro storico di Sciacca, ha solo un piccolo problema , tipico di quasi tutta la Sicilia......Il Traffico. Quindi se utilizzate un'auto per spostarvi vi sarà un pò scomodo raggiungere la struttura. Comunque nei dintorni ci sono parcheggi a pagamento con tariffa oraria.La camera è ben arredata , con colori caldi, il bagno è molto funzionale. Qualche piccola modifica agli accessori della camera darebbe un tocco di maggiore funzionalità, esempio il frigo è un po "nei piedi".....Il resto è OK. Prezzo onesto
