I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner! Every detail was spot-on, from the quality of the food to the top-notch service. The main course of beef with truffle sauce was a standout, so tender and full of flavor. The truffle sauce was balanced perfectly, unlike other places where it can be too strong or heavy. The portion sizes were generous, so we didn’t have room for dessert, though I’m sure it would’ve been just as amazing. Our waiter, Giuseppe, if I’m not wrong (the one with the mustache), was fantastic, he made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. We even tried their special cocktail at the end, and it was delicious. A big thank you for making my birthday celebration unforgettable!

Google
Pizza was great, the staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made it easy to ask about certain things. However, the pistachio tiramisu?! I can't even describe how good that was. That will go down as one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. I might go again tonight, just for that.

Dinner for 2 after a 7 hour travel day, authentic pizza with a gorgeous baroque church in the background. 2 beers, bottle of water and a pizza each - generous size. €34.

Google
Fantastic restaurant! The best we found in Catania. During our 10 days stay we have visited them 7 times and each time we went elsewhere we regretted it badly. The food is fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpful, prices are fair, especially as for this quality of the food. We will get back there for sure when visiting Catania again.

This spot is great for a date. We ate a perfect meal (pizza tartufo and pasta di Norma). The staff is very helpful, friendly and well informed about the wines, as if there were sommelier. Totally recommended.

Very nice location but the service was somehow slow, at the late evening we had to wait almost an hour for pizza and pasta. Decent carbonara & a bit overheated diavola.

We had a nice dinner at locanda cerami. Chill atmosphere, I always saw the tables outside during summer but also inside it’s really cosy. Little lamps on each table, good menu. Not too much choices but something for every flavour. I had the tuna which was amazing! Would def recommend to eat here. After dinner via crociferi - the street where the restaurant is located- invites for a little digestive walk in a relaxed area of the city! Lovely experience!

Yelp
Seeing the reviews we were expecting a nice meal. It turned out differently. Full of young waiters who are eager to test their English, a menu only available via QR code, they managed to mess up a caprese salad (no basil, but rucola, poor tomatoes) and the pizzas were quite salty and sloppy. Poor service, poor food, avoid.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Not recommended. Felt let down by previous reviewers. It started off poorly when trying to get Wi-Fi. You need Wi-Fi in this stone building with zero cell service. They use a free service that requires giving up information and only provides an intermittent weak signal. So annoying. The service was indifferent. Not rude, but they just were a bit off-putting. It started when we walked in at 1 minute after opening time and were told: "not open". The pizzas are very good and reasonably priced. We had a Margarita and a Diavola. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. We had a white Etna Zibibo for €25. Quite good and a new flavor for us. A glass of red. Grappa barrique that was awful. Not smooth. Similar to moonshine. - Wi-Fi sucks - paper placemats - paper napkins - Salvinelli medium flatware - Edison lightbulbs that are hung too low so the bulb is in your face. - no music €61 for dinner for 2

Yelp
This is a place that's received significantly more attention on Trip Advisor than on Yelp. It really was a great find for our first dinner in Italy. We arrived at about 9 and scored their last available table outside. Here are some notes on our experience to go with the pictures: Bruschetta, round 1. We ordered the traditional and it arrived as four beautiful pieces. They cubed the tomatoes and toasted the thick cut bread. The basil appeared to be a garnish but that didn't keep us from cutting it up and adding it to the bruschetta. Big bright tomato flavor complimented by the bread which was simultaneously crunchy and chewy due to its' thickness. Add in some amazingly flavorful basil and some of the best olive oil (why the hell cant we get olive oil that tastes that good in the US?!?) and you have a smashing success of a bruschetta for just 3€. Pizza. Kid like Margherita pizza so that's what we ordered. First observation- it was huge! They cut it in half for us and it was still huge! Second observation - these guys really make a great pizza. Crust had an airiness to it that caught me by surprise. Slightly crispy yet also slightly chewy. Really good pizza crust. Tomato sauce was mild yet carried all of the flavor of the tomatoes without knocking you over the head with any particular flavor note. Fresh mozzarella was chewy and flavorful. The whole pizza was clearly a work of pride and extensive experience. I will remember this pizza fondly for quite a while. Bruschetta, round 2. It occurred to me that we were on track to have a really cheap dinner and that I really enjoyed the first round so I ordered a different variety before the pizza arrived and it arrived after we were most of the way done with the pie. My fault, not theirs so no deduction of stars for the timing issue. The second one was Gorgonzola with pear and lightly drizzled with honey. It was a great creation and I thoroughly enjoy both pieces I ate. Location, location, location. This restaurant is in a busy and bustling part of town but they are situated about 50 meters up a small side street. The outdoor tables are arranged at the foot of the steps of a church that is immediately adjacent. What a find this was...a beautiful setting with great food and what can be better than that? Maybe the fact that their prices are really reasonable too!

Yelp
Good pizza, pear and cheese bruschetta was good, and yogurt chicken dish was okay. The staff was somewhat abrupt, perhaps because we didn't order a lot of food or alcohol. Ambiance is a side street off the main drag, at the foot of a majestic church.

Yelp
Great spot to hang out with friends while dinning outside. Service is great even if you don't speak Italian. Pizza were not the best ever but were really good and their dough is lighter and easy to digest then other pizza joints. I def would go back.

Yelp
I had the cous cous with beef. It was very flavorful and tender. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Great pizza. Very strange things to order though - but it works. Check out the one with salmon, mushrooms, and coco powder on top! I know it seems strange but it's delicious.

Yelp
Great pizzas and lovely setting, I definitely would recommend the Dante pizza. Also very helpful and kind staff is working there.
