The room was nice and clean. The only two things I'd point out was the shower head, which was just terrible, please change it and the green light shining right next to your head when in the bed. Otherwise great service for a good price.

- The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Lugano. ||||- It is not much of a hotel as the rooms are situated in an apartment-like arrangement, as if you are entering a house with different rooms. However, the Superior Double room was nice, well-cleaned, and good enough space and privacy. ||||- The staff were not always available in the reception; however, they were very kind and helpful when contacted. Toiletries could be improved for showering essentials.||||- Overall, if you are planning to spend most of your day outdoors/moving around, then this hotel is a good option with a low price in comparison to others.

It's a small (almost family managed) hotel with 8 rooms in total. Ours, "Il noce" offered a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains despite the hotel being in the front street. Location wise, it was very comfortable for my journey, but it's not a town center hotel for sure. Also this is not suitable for a disabled person, as there's no elevator to the rooms. The room refinement is fine, provided with a Nespresso coffee machine and water. The hotel does not provide a breakfast service, even if you're willing to pay. They provided two packed croissants for the morning after. However, by the time the room service came - since we were in the room - they did not ask whether we needed more coffee, or croissants for the morning after. That would have been appreciated; likewise I would have loved to have a second shower towel and second set of soap. What I didn't like is the two twin beds, joined in a double bed. I'm sure I asked for a double. Overall the experience was ok.

This is not a hotel. It is a place where you can get a room to sleep. There is no service whatsoever. The day of our arrival, we were chased the whole day to say what time we would arrive. In the end, upon arrival, we had to still wait for the owner. The owner did not bother to wear a corona face mask inside and even in our bedroom. The hotel is far away from the city centre, so in most cases, I assume, guests will come by car and want to park. There is plenty of parking space available, which is for both visiting restaurant and hotel guests. The difference is, the restaurant guests can park for free in the same parking, whereas the hotel guests have to pay. Just a hidden charge. Not recommended if you want have some joy in your stay.

We went to Italy this summer and decided to make the trip to Tuscany in two days. We stayed in Locanda Del Conventino on our way to Italy and enjoyed our one night there. The hotel is easy to reach (with Tom Tom) and we had no difficulty parking. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but it looked very good from what we saw at the plates of the other guests. The rooms are very clean and nice and look like they've just been renovated. We had breakfast in the morning which was small scale but very good. I seem to judge breakfast by rating the coffee and this was actually very good at Locanda.

Lovely hotel with only 5 rooms. Clean and pretty charming. Unless you have a car, it quite a hike up to the hotel! And we couldn't check in until 6pm, main lobby was locked! Yes it was my fault, i didnt check the check in time, but anyone knows of 6pm check in????!!!!! Oh, and we were expected to check out at 10am! We paid full day rate btw!!!!

worst hotel we ever lived - my two little girls and my husband were so frustrated at the owner. who in this world will open hotel for two hours only one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening.||||a quite a hike up to the hotel, carry luggage, carry stroller..... with almost more than 45 steps to climb. ||||the hotel has no reception person in the front. the check in time was 6pm. we arrived about 2 hours early as we were travelling from Geneva. ||on a hot summer day we stood outside on the road for more than 2 hours and wait for the owner to open the doors. never heard about this type of strange system.||||the owner of this hotel has no idea how to run a hotel. to my understanding there should always be one receptionist in front of the hotel.||||they really ruined our stay at lugano.

We booked this hotel for me, my husband and daughter (aged 3 yr 8 months). It came up on a search of bookings.com for 3 people over the Easter weekend. After a long drive on our way from England we arrived at 6pm to find there was only 1 double bed in our small room and a tiny baby's cot, for our daughter whose 111cm tall!! ||||The lady on reception was very apologetic, seeing there was no way our girl could fit and we were left to go hunting for another hotel on the Saturday of the Easter wkend. ||||We were stunned to discover this hotel then had the cheek to charge us for a full 3 nights stay, when they should never have come up on our search as they had no folding beds for children only infants cots. ||||The owner of this hotel is very deceitful and took our money even though they could not accommodate us they've mis-sold their goods.||||It was also in a very poor location no where near Lugano.
