Incredible location blocks away from the small squares and a 12-15 min walk to Doge’s Palace and St. Mark's. The staff is personable and welcoming. While their English is broken, you are in Italy. 😀
The rooms are quaint, and it’s laid out like a house with several rooms (9 in total). The bathrooms are a bit small, so if you are exceptionally tall, I might consider another option.
Each morning, you are treated to a hand-served continental breakfast outside under a nice awning. The menu includes bread, rolls, fruit, yogurt, and, most importantly, specialty coffee!!
If you take a taxi, I recommend a private one for ~€60. It will drop you off at Sant Angelos, and the walk was about 5-7 minutes.
If you have difficulty walking or have mobility issues, I would consider Venice a challenging city to visit.
In all, we loved our stay and hope others experience the same.
