Wonderful stay in a beautiful, peaceful, lovely hotel and setting. As a boutique hotel, they are on point in every way with an exclusive feel. The staff are so kind and helpful, always having time to chat while providing high-quality service. The amenities are enjoyable, and the view is incomparable. Perfect for a couple looking for relaxation, as this is a place to unwind with quiet we have never experienced. We had lots of plans to see and go places in Tuscany, but we only did a few as we wanted to relax on the premises. The pool is small but perfect, lots of lounge chairs with shade or sun, and wine by the pool with the view was incredibly enjoyable. We stayed in the 'standard room.' The room itself is small but the bathroom is large and provides the boutique quality you expect. The chef and staff on site make each dining time relaxing and the quality of food is excellent, whether at the casual or fine dining space. Plus, the addition of their local wine tops off the experience. Quick and easy to get to San Gimignano and Siena but you feel like you are in another world of beauty and serenity. Highly recommend for couples looking for peace, quiet and beauty.

A truly incredible experience. We stayed 4 nights and everything was so perfect and dreamy. Staff is amazing, breakfast is incredibly delicious as well as the restaurant (both of them), we will for sure go again and are looking forward to it. Not my first time at Locanda Le Piazze, and every stay reminds me why I love it so much!!! The hospitality is warm and genuine, with a friendly team that makes you feel cared for from the moment you arrive.||The interiors are beautifully designed with meticulous attention to detail, and I appreciate how naturally sustainability is woven into the experience. It gives the whole place a sense of purpose and harmony.||The spa with Anna is always a highlight. She is incredible, and her treatments add an extra layer of calm to the stay.||And of course, the food at Tavola di Guido was exceptional once again. Fresh, thoughtful, and full of flavor.||Highly recommended, always.

Locanda Le Piazze provided by far the most pleasant, leisurely, and happy lodging experience my wife and I have had to date. The staff, the accommodations, the culinary delights, the grounds, the amenities, all were of the highest level. One could not ask for more. In fact, we will travel to Tuscany yet again and plan to make Locanda Le Piazze one of our stops. Thank-you Locanda Le Piazze.

Our favorite part of our one-week honeymoon in Italy! We truly wish we could have stayed longer. The food was excellent, the accommodations were beautiful, the staff was so friendly and the spa was absolutely lovely. Such a relaxing and quiet place — a little slice of heaven. Everything about our stay made it feel like the perfect escape. Highly recommend! We will be back as soon as we can :)

If you’re looking for a great and quiet place to stay in Tuscany, Locanda le Piazze is where you need to go! This is a boutique hotel, and it definitely feels like it. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We were traveling to Tuscany from Rome during a train strike, and they even helped us book a private transfer from Rome to their hotel - which was so nice to not have to worry about it. We also booked a lunch and wine tasting at their sister property (One Belvedere), which they personally drove us to and from so we didn’t have to walk far. |All of the food and meals we had here were amazing. The room was so perfect with great Tuscan charm - yet a modern/warm feel. The property was overall dreamy - I’m not sure I’ll be able to stay anywhere else in Tuscany whenever we come back!

We loved, loved, loved our incredible week at Locanda Le Piazze! What an AMAZING time we had, from the night we arrived to the morning we sadly had to depart. The property is absolutely pristine and peaceful, with beautiful views of vineyards in every direction. Our suite had a private patio that allowed us to take in the gorgeous sunrises. To say that the reception staff was absolutely accommodating and welcoming (actually everyone on property made us feel so welcomed and valued) is an understatement. Sara, Andrea and Dario tended to all our needs…..from making dining reservations to setting up a wine tour, to suggestions on where to go and what to see….they all went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect! Loved all the conversations! The dining staff was just as incredible….with the likes of Carolina, Camilla, Zoryana, Jacopo and the rest of the team…always making sure our dining experiences were always lovely. The food at Aperitavolo was delicious, modeling a farm to table concept. So much attention to detail! We took every opportunity to enjoy the available amenities on property including massages at AnaiSpa. Our masseuses, Laura and Mary were amazing! Both very talented individuals, they listened to our requests and kneaded tight muscles, bringing us to a state of total relaxation and making us feel like putty afterwards 🥰! And everyday, after a long day of soaking in the sights, we always came back to a perfectly made up room thanks to Qamile. No better way to end the day, and to enjoy another restful night! There’s no question….we are definitely going back for a second, third, etc visit! We are so impressed, and in love with Locanda Le Piazze and its staff!!

I have been at locanda many times. The place never ceases to amaze me and my friends! Every year it improves. The spa is an incredible addition, as well as the outdoor gym with an incredible view. ||The service is second to none. ||The hotel is immaculate. ||The restaurant is simply delicious

I stayed at four different hotels while traveling in Italy, and it's safe to say that Locanda Le Piazze was the best hotel out of the bunch. There's a lot to say, so I'll try to break it up. Loction: Tuscany is overwhelming, but the hotel's location in Chianti is prime. You are only a 10-15 minute ride from Catellina which is a beautiful village with lots of restaurants and shops. You are also the same distance from several wineries. None are walkable, but because everything is so spread out that's probably tough to find anywhere. The hotel does have bikes, but just a warning that it's very tough to bike because of all the hills. Food & Drink: What you don't need to walk very far for is excellent food and drink. Breakfast is included in your stay and the spread is delicious. Lots of hot and cold options including eggs and bacon, meats and cheeses, fruits, pastries and oatmeal. There is also an incredible restaurant on the property (more on that in another review). It was so good that we ended up eating dinner there two out of three nights. Oh, and let's not forget the honors bar. The hotel has a few honors style bars set up throughout the property. Drawers and fridges full of every kind of wine, beer and liquor. Plus fixings to make cocktails and spritzes. All you'll need to do is write down how many you have and your room will be charged. The Grounds / Interiors: This is the best part about Locanda. The grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are impeccable. Every single inch of the space is thoughtfully designed, modern and perfect. Outside you'll find fresh plants and herbs, rolling hills and vineyards and the most gorgeous pool smack dab in the middle of it all. If we didn't have plans to hit wineries I honestly could have sat at that pool all day. Each day we got back to the hotel in the afternoon and spent hours relaxing and taking in the views. The rooms and all other interior space have the most whimsical decor -- I was a big fan of the dream catchers and artwork. Service: The service was on point the entire time. They really do their best to make you feel comfortable and like you are staying with family. At one point one of the groundskeepers was picking fresh figs and she even brought a bundle over to us straight from the tree. I can only dream about returning to this hotel again one day. If I ever find myself in Tuscany you can bet that this is where I'll stay.

Nikki P's review below is spot on. We left Locanda's remote, quiet spot today and were sad to do so. The location, facility, and staff are so warm and welcoming. The chef and restaurant provides 5 star meals, with flavors that were appreciated and enjoyed, immensely. We stayed in the "honeymoon" tower....it's work with the stairs, but worth every step. All in all, a beautiful and one of our favorite experiences. We will definitely be back! Thank you to all at Locanda!

Locanda Le Piazze is absolutely incredible. My friend and I stayed here for two days and nights, but I wished I could have stayed forever. The scenery and location are stunning: rolling green hills and miles of beautiful vineyards. It is wonderfully located about a ten minute drive from the local village. The pool looks out over the beautiful vineyards. Every hour or so, a waitress will come down to the pool to take drink orders or ask if you need anything. The bed/chairs by the pool are extremely comfortable, and there is wifi at the pool. My room was also wonderful. I stayed in a room for two with one large bed. The bed was nice and comfy. The room was bright with white sheets, lots of lights, and large windows for natural light, too. The room also had two large window doors that led out into a large terrace. This space was perfect to read in the morning and have some privacy. The bathroom had a large tub and shower. There was also a blow dryer you could use, and I loved the shampoo and shower gel provided. And of course there is wifi in the room. Now for the food. INCREDIBLE. The chef is not only brilliant, but also funny and personable. For the complimentary breakfast, there were freshly baked croissants, breads, and jam. There were also fresh cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, juices, coffee, and tea. My favorite was the chocolate granola cereal and the whole wheat croissants.You could also order pancakes or eggs. The two dinners I ate there were impeccable. My favorite dinner was the second night. It started with a mozzarella and tomato salad. Then came a dish a penne with zucchini flowers- WOW. For the main course was a sort of pesto encrusted fillet steak and grilled vegetables and potatoes. We were stuffed, so for dessert we had a juicy slice of watermelon with salt. Absolutely amazing. Finally, my favorite part of Locanda Le Piazze was the staff. Every person was sweet, friendly, and accommodating. They always had a smile on and were willing to help with whatever we needed. Sorry for the long review, but this place deserves it. I hope I can go back soon! Thanks to everyone at Locanda Le Piazze for an amazing vacation!
