Beautiful place. I'm grateful for giving me the peace and soul of the Italian atmosphere during my stay. Individually decorated rooms with historical and art touches. Charming restaurant, cuisine based on high-quality local products. Peaceful, green area. Nice pool.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. It is in a tranquil spot in the hills above Lake Garda, away from the lakeside hustle and bustle but within easy reach of the sights. A beautiful old building, our room was very spacious and comfortable. The food was very good, both in terms of quality and value and the wine list satisfied my oenophile husband. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly so. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and would love to return one day.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. It's beautiful. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated and had views down the valley. ||It was a twenty minute drive down to Garda on the lake, so an excellent base from which to explore the lake. ||We ate outside in the courtyard on our first night - fantastic food and wine, and all the staff so friendly and helpful.||Great swimming pool set up in the meadows behind the hotel, it was so peaceful swimming and sunbathing there for a couple of hours. ||Breakfast was until 10.30, great range of pastries, meats, cheeses and eggs, and you can eat inside or outside. ||We hope to come back here, it was just so lovely. |

We booked San verolo many months ago after spotting it on booking.com. When we arrived after our wedding we could not have been happier. What a place! So beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. The room we were given was superb, huge bed and amazing bathroom. The main house was beautiful and the veranda so comfy, The pool area was also very nice indeed and certainly a great place to unwind. Location could not have been better, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Garda town but only a 5 minute drive. We ate at the hotel a couple of times and it was lovely, the house wine fantastic! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, they really made our week perfect. Thank you so much for everything, we hope to return one day and will be recommending you to our friends! Xxx

We stayed for 2 nights in early June, and were warmly greeted by the hostess. Breakfast was a most sumptuous spread! And the dinners on the terrace were also lovely. We enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool, as it was unseasonably hot. Our room was big and very spacious - the only drawback was no screens on the windows, and I managed to score a few mosquito bites. We were given lots of helpful hints on what to see in the area, plus a map to help us out. This was a lovely quiet location. On our departure, we were given a bottle of wine, which was a lovely memento of our stay.

We stayed here for four days in May and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the evening meals are OK. The grounds are lovely and simply heaving with birdlife (the dawn chorus was amazing).||The pool was great and mercifully devoid of children.||We stayed in room 8 which was huge with a very comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. It was also nice and quiet considering the property is very close to a busy road. The weekend bike traffic was extremely loud by the pool but you could barley hear it in the room. ||A great place to relax or use as a base to explore the region.

This is a review for the restaurant, not the hotel. ||The location very nice, upon the hill, in a green surrounding. Eeating is done out on the terrace in front of the old house (and hotel), however, with not so comfortable (metal) chairs. We chose a table when it was still light, but when darkness fell, there were just 2 or 3 umbrella's with a light. Our table was completely in the dark, with only the light of a candle to see what you were eating. That may be enough to have a pizza, but it is surely not enough to have a decent dinner.||||As Appetizer, we took a mixed plate with fish (we were given the choice between meat and fish) for 15 euro. This consisted of 3 small items, not really worth 15 euro. As Primi I had the Pasta nero with shrimp which was VERY good, and my partner had the pasta with duck, which was only so so.||||As main course my partner had the mixed fish grill. Not bad, but not up to the expected level (the week before we spent in Chioggia, were these type of dishes were superb, this one does not live up to the comparison). My dish was the Swordfish, which was also only so so. Again, it was not bad, but we had much better earlier this trip.||||Whilst we were eating our main course, the staff started to clear the terrras, removing all table cloths, etc. Seemed to give a strange message to the few guests still eating their dinner.||||The price for 1 shared appetizer, 2 primi and 2 main courses + a bottle of Prosecco was 95 euro. A price I would happily pay but the food served was unfortunately not up to this level. If this were between 60 and 70 euro, they would get a score of 4, at 95 euro, this reduces to 3.||||Note: they need more attention for details: e.g. the mens room had toilet paper but no light, whilst the ladies room had light but no toilet paper. This should not happen at a place which pretends to have a certain level !

This is a beautiful tranquil characterful boutique hotel. We stayed 4 nights August 2014 and had the best time. It's so tranquil , the staff cannot do enough to help you, the restaurant superb, with excellent wine selection, the pool is lovely, the rooms are rustic but in a beautiful stylish way. ||Was great to not be on the shores of lake Garda itself as its so quiet, but you need a car to explore the surroundings which are beautiful.
