This is a review for the restaurant, not the hotel. ||The location very nice, upon the hill, in a green surrounding. Eeating is done out on the terrace in front of the old house (and hotel), however, with not so comfortable (metal) chairs. We chose a table when it was still light, but when darkness fell, there were just 2 or 3 umbrella's with a light. Our table was completely in the dark, with only the light of a candle to see what you were eating. That may be enough to have a pizza, but it is surely not enough to have a decent dinner.||||As Appetizer, we took a mixed plate with fish (we were given the choice between meat and fish) for 15 euro. This consisted of 3 small items, not really worth 15 euro. As Primi I had the Pasta nero with shrimp which was VERY good, and my partner had the pasta with duck, which was only so so.||||As main course my partner had the mixed fish grill. Not bad, but not up to the expected level (the week before we spent in Chioggia, were these type of dishes were superb, this one does not live up to the comparison). My dish was the Swordfish, which was also only so so. Again, it was not bad, but we had much better earlier this trip.||||Whilst we were eating our main course, the staff started to clear the terrras, removing all table cloths, etc. Seemed to give a strange message to the few guests still eating their dinner.||||The price for 1 shared appetizer, 2 primi and 2 main courses + a bottle of Prosecco was 95 euro. A price I would happily pay but the food served was unfortunately not up to this level. If this were between 60 and 70 euro, they would get a score of 4, at 95 euro, this reduces to 3.||||Note: they need more attention for details: e.g. the mens room had toilet paper but no light, whilst the ladies room had light but no toilet paper. This should not happen at a place which pretends to have a certain level !
