Really nice people taking care of the place, the patio is charming and the rooms are clean. Could use a bit of uplift on the rooms decoration but all in all was lovely to stay there. And the best of all, was the gentleman at reception in the night shift that helped us so much and patiently waited for us.

The rooms are well kept and clean, of course it's not "flashy" for this price but it's a friendly welcome and clean towels. The location is excellent, around 10 minutes walk from Arsenal stop, the area around this hotel is beautiful with cobbled streets, very few tourists and very nice restaurants. Thank you to the hotel team for our short stay with you in July 2024.

I didn't even stay at the hotel because of miscommunication with the host. Unfortunately, I got COVID and was very poorly so I needed to anticipate my staying there. I contacted the host in the morning via booking and phone, but he only replied after midday when I had already booked somewhere else because of my health conditions. Compared to other places where I stayed who were quick to reply and caring, he didn't seem to bother. In other words, he didn't behave like a good host. There are nice hotels with reasonable prices in Venice, so it's just a matter of choice.

Loved it!! Went this week, was only €30/night (€35/night if you only book one night though), maybe because it's winter and it's the off-season for Venice tourism. Had a single room with a sink and bed and small cabinet and small table and chair. No private bathroom/shower but that's fine!! The bathroom and shower on the floor were very clean. The lounge is nice too!! Has a balcony with a canal view. Highly recommend!!

A bit of a hike to get to from either Arsenale or Biennale vaporetto stops but also situated in a great part of Venice—a few steps past a little bridge you’ll find a bunch of decent restaurants and cafes and the side entrance to the Giardini public gardens that host the Biennale. It’s got its own private shady courtyard and overlooks a canal. Its very retro—like staying in Venice in the seventies. It’s pretty spare, with older, well-cared-for furnishings and stone/marble inlaid floors like a public school auditorium. Its very clean—my room had a basic bed, a sink, and a very beautiful small armoire. I choose a room with shared bathroom facilities. Bathrooms were also scrupulously clean (though water pressure could be improved—but for the price, I can deal with a slightly weaker flow). Breakfast was super abundant! (Tip: wait for fresh toast and croissants before you open the packaged croissants they give you first. My guess is the packages are for the late risers). There seemed to be air conditioning in the room but I didn’t use it. A tip for the proprietor: the plants need more sun and less water—and maybe a little plant food.

Due to flight problems we had to stay an extra day in Venice. We rang this hotel which we found in a Marco Polo guide and the owner was really friendly and helpful. We booked a room on the first floor which was en-suite. The room had high ceilings and was airy. The painted furniture we thought was great ;so individual. Such good value at 79 Euros for the night + local tourist tax. There is a big lounge area on the same floor with retro furniture and a small balcony overlooking the canal. There is also a lovely outside courtyard you can sit in. Breakfast was 6 euros and was a continental with plenty to eat, and the owner when I told him my dietary issues bought gluten free bread and rolls just for me! So helpful having a left luggage facility. Be aware that some rooms on the second floor share bathroom facilities but the owner makes that clear. Whole experience of this place was great, and if we ever return to Venice this is where we would stay

Nice location, a bit of the beaten track and quite easy to get to by public transportation via the water bus, but still close enough to walk to the places you want to see while in Venice. Service minded and friendly receptionists. ||What was negative about the hotel was the size of the room (first one we got did not have enough space to open the suitcases without blocking the door), so we payed about 35 euros extra per night to get an upgrade. In the second room there were lots of space and a nice channel-view. Though, in neither of the rooms there were what we would call air conditioning - it was more like a clogged ventilation and not nearly good enough to beat the august heat. Also there was a bad smell in the bathroom in the evening after we had showered.||Breakfast was sweet pastry and croissants, juice, yoghurt and coffee.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while in Venice for two nights. The few bad things were that the shower can run out of hot water if you don’t give it time, the rooms were a bit outdated, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The good things were that the staff was really helpful, the price wasn’t bad, and best of all the location. It is a bit far from the main tourist sights, but the neighborhood is beautiful and the streets aren’t horribly packed. There are great restaurants around, a 5 minute walk to transit, and what I thought was the best side of the island we saw.
