I love places like these! I could spend hours in the shop with all the local produce and interesting items. I ended up buying a couple of condiments. The place was busy. The lady that served me at the checkout was nice enough but not particularly friendly. We then grabbed food. Unfortunately it was a 20-30 min wait in the main restaurant so we didn’t bother go there. Instead we sat in at the cafe. We had a toasted sandwich and a sausage roll which were both nice and satisfying. The sausage roll was juicy with a flakey pastry. Overall the is a great spot with a brilliant location. I’d like to come back to try the main restaurant.

What a fabulous place to have a walk and a cake. My friend and I did the full 20km ish cicuit then treated ourselves to some goodies in the restaurant. We asked for a table, and were given a little vibrating pager that would let us know when our table was ready. We browsed the shop for perhaps 10 minutes before it went off which was a more than acceptable wait considering how good the service was and not mention the food - it was gorgeous. Our experience with the staff was professional and polite from start to finish. As mentioned before the food was brilliant. Chips, cheese scone and slice of chocolate jaffa cake - i would happily have died and gone to heaven with this as my last meal, it was delicious!

Has an amazing time- lovely seating outside in the sun and great views. Amazing service from a nice girl in the greenhouse area I believe it was Lorna Y written on her name badge. Definitely recommend!!

Having lived in the area for ten years I cannot believe it's taken me so long to discover Loch Leven's Larder, met up with my family here after a big dog walk and honestly so impressed. The shop itself is beautiful, we spend hours looking around buying lots of lovely bits (it's the perfect shop to buy presents!). The main restaurant is gorgeous, really well decorated and clearly very popular, I will be honest the lunch time food wasn't really to my taste but everything came out quickly, was really hot and seemed really great quality, since reading more reviews it seems their cafe does toasties so will have to try this next time... they've also got a really unique selection of drinks which was lovely to try and a bit different from the usual "coke please". After a walk in the grounds, we popped back into the cafe for coffee and cake, both of which were absolutely lovely. Overall really really impressed and will definitely be back for more cake and a wander around the shop!

Lovely place to stop for a coffee and cake but not when the wait time for it is nearly 40 mins. Can't fault the coffee or cake but wish the staff had said they couldn't cope with a simple coffee and cake order on a Sat afternoon.

Brilliant place for shopping Nik naks, lovely gifts, homeware and food department all with a lovely atmosphere. We've eaten in the main restaurant and weren't overly impressed by the food, it's a average. The smaller coffee shop is really nice when it's quiet, with views across the loch if you get a window seat. Coffee is good and cakes are nice. Would be nice if they offered warm scones. We ordered a chai latte this visit as we drink them often at other places but it was undrinkable. The syrup was immensly sweet and didn't taste very good at all. The service is alright but the service we had that day wasn't very welcoming. Didn't smile, and words were to the point like she didn't want to be there. Other times we have had decent service however.

Embarrassingly pretentious. Style over substance. I used to love this place. In the cafe they had great bagels and proper toasties. Now? £9.50 for a “luxury toastie” with mac and cheese inside. Prices haven't changed, but quality definitely went down: two ingredients, zero effort. Went to the restaurant for breakfast: eggs Benedict came cooked through. No apology, still charged full price. It’s gone from expensive but good to embarrassingly pretentious. Style over substance, and not even good style.

Google
Nice atmosphere to this cafe with great views. However quite expensive without the service to accompany. For example, bought a ginger beer from the fridge but no glass or ice available… only paper cups. Quite disappointing.

Yelp
Very good food in a half gift shop, half cafeteria-feeling place with amazing views. Service was fast enough despite the crowds. A great stop if for convenience.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this has such low ratings on Yelp! This place was delicious! I mean its a farmshop/cafe so its gonna be a bit more expensive... but its worth every bite because its really not that much more then a latte or piece of cake from starbucks... and this is all locally made! The farm shop was super cute and the view is amazing! looking right over Loch Leven. Beautiful . We got a thing that wasn't a afternoon tea, but thats like a shared dessert plate with tea for two. We got lovely shortbread, fresh vanilla cream and berries (husband ate that) a coconut chocolate trifel, yummy marigunes, and wonderfully buttery scones! All for £10. They had really nice outdoor seating too ( weather permitting)

Yelp
This is a gem on the shores of Loch Leven. The views from this place, inside and outside, are amazing and when the sun is out on a warm summers day, a stop by for a meal and drink should be in the cards. The Loch Leven natural trail is passing this place and a detour is easy. There is plenty of parking space, inside and outside seating, as well as a very well equipped Farm Shop. It's heaven for locals and tourists alike. All you can get, in one place. Must confess I went on a wee shopping spree as well as enjoying a 2.5 hour lunch break. It's quite amazing that they did not ask us to leave as we had a table for quite some time even the people kept coming and queuing. When we arrived we were also informed that there is a 15 min wait and were given a pager. The table was ready quite fast so I could not finish my shopping. The lady behind the counter offered to keep the shopping basket, with content, until I was ready with my lunch. Must say, all the staff were really friendly and attentive, even on a busy Sunday like this. Always a friendly face. In the restaurant I ordered chicken pate with oatcakes and the whole meal was really filling. I could only manage an Americano as a dessert. Their dessert board was huge with lots of choice. Not to mention the small and large afternoon tea choice. Toilets were ok. Would recommend to clean them a bit more in intervals. The outside terrace is modern and large. You will also see two booths, which can be reserved and you can sit in there with pals or family members enjoying some privacy. They look like UFOS :-). Their farmshop sells local produce, various kitchen and pet appliances, clothes, cards, papers, wines, dog/cat supplies. Enjoy. It's worth a trip at any time.

Yelp
Loch Leven's Larder is a nice cafe/restaurant with great views of Loch Leven. The food is very nice, particularly the Soup of the Day. The coffee they serve there is of high standard & they make it properly from bean to cup in minutes. The prices at the Larder are on the steep side, you are looking at over £10 per person for a decent lunch time meal there. However as I said the views are lovely with easy access to the Larder Shop & trails that go round the 12.6 mile radius of the Loch. Very close to Kinross & the M90 motor way & A92.

Yelp
My pal took me here today for afternoon tea and it was just fab' lovely sandwiches, shortbread to die for, delightful cakes and yummy sausage rolls, a sheer delight and its my birthday tomorrow. What a lovely surprise with beautiful scenery. Well done everyone for making it so special. I will return!!!!!

Yelp
Very beautiful shop, but so expensive. The deli is very nice, although vastly overpriced. However, a few of the cheeses were incorrectly labelled with country of origin. For example, Picos Blue was labelled as French, when it is in fact Spanish. I pointed this out to the gentleman on the counter, who I have to say was charming and very helpful, and assured me who would advise the owner, but on a later visit, all the labelling remained unchanged. Very disappointing, and the reason why we've never been back

Yelp
Nice setting and lovely for a wee browse around, although very expensive for everything. Feel that the lay out of the tables could be better in the restaurant as there are a few huge tables that take up so much space when there are people standing waiting for tables it seems such a waste of space. Also the soup was lovely but the brownies were very dry and disappointing. They are busy but there really is a lack of competition as there are no coffee shops close by for visitors to choose between and to visit there, unless you live local, you are having a day out so you have to eat there. Don't think that their prices would stand a chance in a competitive area.
