Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa

Part of a road trip to celebrate my 70th birthday. This was the mystery hotel my husband had booked and I was delighted!|A beautiful room, with views towards the coast. The hotel was fairly quiet whilst we were staying, but the staff were lovely and friendly and the food amazing. The menu was a good mix and I think I could have picked most things on there! Breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. We visited Culzean Castle on our full day as the weather, although not great in the forecast, turned out to be dry and autumnal .

Just back from my daughters wedding which was amazing from start to finish. Staff made sure any request were met, very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are lovely, and very clean. The wedding meal was amazing. Would highly recommend Loch Green as a wedding venue or a weekend away.

We didn't stay at the hotel but came for a late breakfast. The restaurant is beautiful—recently refurbished to a high standard. We ordered Turkish eggs, crab crumpet, avocado smash, and coffees. Everything was utterly delicious. Special thanks to Michael for the excellent service and tour.

Stunning hotel. Stayed here for family wedding. What a venue. Perfect from start to finish. Had meal the night before wedding it was delicious. Lovely bar to sit in after our meal. Breakfast was fab plenty choices. Wedding meal fantastic. What a stunning venue for a wedding. All staff so lovely and helpful. Weather was perfect for outside use of gardens etc. Gardens were pristine. couldn’t have asked for more. Rooms are massive and so comfortable

Spent an overnight at the hotel with my cousin. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Staff were exceptional. Food was lovely and the room was beautiful. Would definitely return and would recommend the hotel to others.

This is a gorgeous hotel in lovely grounds near the golf courses.We had lunch in the stunning Copper Beech bar, a first visit since it was added on to the hotel a couple of years ago.Really an very impressive, attractive interior.|My Caesar Salad was excellent, really strong flavours, as it should have and plenty of it.My husband’s Club Sandwich was great too.Extra portion of chips were first class.|Then we chose desserts….|The Meringue tasted nothing like meringue, one of my favourite puddings.It was bright pink and had a very strange, overly sweet flavour.Not nice.Fruit coulis that came with it was almost solid, couldn’t get it to pour out of the small jug.|Very odd because their sister hotel at Duck Bay on Loch Lomond does very good home made meringues and is known for them.|Apple Crumble was a pie base, minimal crumble topping - a poor replica of this top notch pudding and not one I’d ever order here again.|We will come back , as it’s such a lovely environment with good walks nearby, but will, sadly, avoid the desserts.

The absolute loveliest building and grounds, Lochgreen is stunning. Afternoon Tea is equally stunning, really tasty and not overdone on the Patisserie element, absolutely perfect. The Spa is beautifully tranquil, probably because there's no swimming pool, it takes all that noise and pool smell away. Treatment rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, and Therapists are a delight. Really looking forward to my next visit 🥰

We attended a wedding here and I have a lot of dietary needs. I honestly couldn't rate this hotel higher on how accommodating they were or how knowledgeable the staff were. |The lady who was making sure everything was right for the wedding was so attentive to everything. I was really impressed. We will definitly return here again

Wonderful place ! The lochgreen is a hotel and a restaurant with a terrace located in an amazing park. This place is absolutely outstanding. The decoration in the hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is fabulous. The place was booked for a large group and we had the aperitif in the terrace. The bar was open for us in the area we were. Varieties of beers and alcohol in the bar. The food was good in the restaurant and they adapted the cooking for the food intolerant. Nice souvenir of the place !

We had a lovely stay at the Lochgren House. The rooms are spacious, equipped with coffee, tea and waters. The beds are comfortable. The shower was very tight for a large bathroom but the water pressure was good. The food and drinks in the dining room and bar were very tasty and worth making the reservation in advance. Would definitely stay again but since our room (3) was directly above where people stood to smoke and chat we will ask for a different room next time.

Had breakfast and lunch in the hotel during the Scottish Open with my two sons. Several golfers stayed there and were having breakfast with us such as Rory Macilroy and Andrew Levy to name a few! They had their families with them also! Food was over the top fantastic! Staff amazing! Royalty treatment! A must for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

It was a little more than we had budgeted for during our trip, but it was worth every cent. The room was huge, the food great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Give yourself a treat and stay here.

Fabulous hotel in old fashioned classic design. The staff are very friendly and treat you like you are royalty. The room we stayed in was really large and comfortable. The only downfall is that it is looking a wee bit tired and could do with an uplift but it wasnt enough to put me off going back. Another point would be that you really need a car as the hotel is not in walking distance of shopping, siteseeing or activities (except a golf course). The meal we had in the restaurant was exceptional and well worth the 'not so expensive' price tag. I have paid more for a meal in a chef's restaurant in Glasgow and came away disappointed and still hungry but there was no chance of that at Lochgreen. As well as the courses you choose, they throw in extras which makes the experience even better. Breakfast was just as good and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The service and food were both excellent. We had a festive menu, and we are looking forward to going again in the new year to try the "normal" menu and I hope this will be s new regular venue for my wife and I.
