Ticket for adults was Rs. 250/- per person and it was worth every rupee. Ashok was our guide. He was very friendly and helpful. Brutally honest as well. The tea tasting with a know how of how to actually drink tea.

It was a very pleasant and wonderful experience visiting this museum. It was my first time watching the process of tea making. Very informative. The place is easily accessible from Gap Road. Parking is available. Entry fee: 250 Rs.

Name the factory as museum, put an exorbitant 250rs perched even for kids. Walk you through their routine factory work. What a great way to cheat tourists and make good money.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the tea museum as well as the tasting. Our hostess Ganga Devi was brilliant and a delight. Recommended!

Well, I found the guided tour to be just a selling technique to make you finally buy their products at higher prices quoting that they don’t sell it here in India and is only exported. Also @₹250/- per person ticket price, it’s quite high, correct pricing could’ve been around ₹100, I felt. The tour doesn’t allow such a great experience/information. What was worst was the guide. He said some blatant ignorant things and that too with too much of over confidence . For example…. 1. He quoted macha tea is always a pre mixed green tea which comes with milk, sugar and even at times chocolate with it. He doesn’t know well about macha, he should probably learn a bit more and then speak. 2. He said that all tea sold in tea bags are basically the wastages from the tea making process. Again, his idea is of the very inferior ones at low values. He could’ve mentioned it as “many” or “most” commonly sold, at best. Either his command over the English language was not good or complete over confidence without knowledge, he spoke in very commanding note some wrong informations. So, overall a passable thing to do- is my opinion.
