LOCOS BBQ

4 stars might be a stretch but the place is nice and service is good. They bring the food out hot and fresh, so I gave 4 stars. The pulled pork was good and moist but very little smoke flavor . Actually no smoke flavor. There sauce is good and beans were very good. The slaw not so much. The beer is cold also. They have a super easy to use tablet menu in English. I will return.

Quite disappointed with the quality of the food. I went for early lunch 11.30AM . Had the platter for 2 for $60 Had the driest brisket ever. The rest of the smoked meats are dry as well My wife and I even had the thought are we eating left overs from yesterday night ? The sliders bun are served warm the only thing warm on the plate. Coleslaw is decent. All in all just go for a single serving save on your wallet and judge the food quality yourself

I visited Loco BBQ around 2pm as a solo diner. The restaurant was half empty, but I was asked to sit at the bar—even though a large table stayed unoccupied the entire time I was there (I left around 3:30pm). Meanwhile, other guests who came in later, and appeared to be Korean, were seated at regular tables without reservations. Service felt inattentive—I wasn’t given napkins with my meal and had to ask for them. The BBQ itself was fine, but nothing special if you’ve had proper Texas-style barbecue. In my experience, it’s unfortunately quite common in Korea for service to be more accommodating toward locals than foreigners. If you don’t speak Korean, just be prepared that you might not receive the same level of attention. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. The experience didn’t make me feel welcome

Very friendly staff, tablet ordering in English. Food came out fast and was very good, had the pulled pork with beans and slaw. Accepts chipped visa cards.

Staff photographed was very rude. We are tourists from Singapore without a Korean number. I asked him if we have to take a number to queue and if there’s a long waiting time (IN ENGLISH). He said something in Korean to which I said IN ENGLISH “we don’t speak Korean”. He gave me a look and replied “I don’t speak Chinese”. Confused, I said “sorry?” so he repeated “I don’t speak Chinese” with a grin. Left because of the rude staff. If you are a tourist maybe you should think twice in case you are greeted with mild racist comments. Hope the restaurant teaches their staff to handle tourists respectfully especially in a big mall where tourists are expected to visit.

I expected too much. Taste good but I dont want to visit here again. Service quality was not good.

This is the most authentic American style food I've had since moving to Seoul two years ago. The ribs melted off the bone and the brisket was smokey and delicious all around. Also, their house made sauces are amazing! If you want a little fusion, ask for some Korean style BBQ sauce... It's a delicious twist on Korean gochujang and sweet BBQ flavors. Also loved the Cole slaw.

Wr had a sampler for 2 (about $60); brisket, porkrib beef,etc with great fresh salad. Staffs are very kind & professional. Fingerleaking great. BTW they provide finger glove(?)
