There are also retro video games and board games in the all-ages spot." - Megan Hill

Google
Smaller Locust location near Post Alley. I wish I could say the service was better but the person taking our order seemed bothered that we were taking too long to decide what to drink. I thought maybe it was just a dry personality but as soon as they went to the other side and saw their friend, they were all smiles. Ordered a mango cider beer and bought a nice glass cup with the Locust Cider logo, and atmosphere is small but makes good use of the space. Some outdoor seating as well.

Google
Great drinks/service. I had fantastic service here they were very easy going and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, I would say the only downside to this place was that they allow kids . I came in to have a drink and while I was sitting there a family came in and there kids wouldn’t stop crying. I got really annoyed with this cause I thought it was 21+ Seeing as how they serve mostly alcohol. Not sure if I’ll go back again if they keep allowing kids into the tap room.

Google
Stumbled across this place and we couldn’t be happier. I love beer and my husband loves cider, normally we can’t go to breweries/tap rooms without one of us missing out. No worries here and my husband got to have a flight of ciders, something he doesn’t usually get to experience. My beer was local and there were several to choose from. They also have games to play, we played Sorry, and they even have two video game stations with Super Nintendo machines for single or two players. The merch is super cool too. Big thumbs up 👍🏻

Google
Chanced upon this brewery while exploring downtown Seattle. Getting a flight with six of the ten cider selections was a no-brainer. I have enjoyed both the all-year and seasonal ciders with Cinnful Cranberries and Oak Vanilla as two top favs. Would have stayed longer if they serve food 'cause a panini or some bar food would have paired perfectly.

Google
While taking a stroll down Post Alley we came across Locust Cider & Brewing Company. It is a great spot to stop for a drink when looking for the gum wall. We had the hot cider selection of the day. I would go back and try there other flavors. They have board games and a section for some classic video games. Very kind service and a nice spot to just chill and enjoy a drink.

Google
What a wonderful location for my favorite cider place! Great cider I highly recommend the apple pear. They have a wide variety and now have a non achoholic one. The food selection is okay-but pretty pricy. I wish they would have more affordable options that you can snack on. Especially since the flights are strong! Staff was very friendly and helpful. He was kind and I appreciated how he helped. This location also has events so check before you go.

Google
Friendly staff with some fun cider flavors! We liked the original dry cider, the blackberry, and the vanilla. The Happy hour is weekdays from 4-6pm. We liked the artwork and decor of the place. Outdoor seating is also available.

Google
Really good selection of ciders to chose from. Either got a single pint of cider or up to 6 samples in a “create your own” flight. Bartender was super friendly and there was a really nice atmosphere. Also, there were game stations to play old school video games. I would recommend.

Yelp
Sometimes the best finds are the ones you weren't looking for. Locust Cider is one of them. If you love hard cider then you'll love this place. If you'd rather drink at home, you can buy their ciders by the can. For everyone else though, their hard ciders are bomb. If you want sweet or more bitter, they have it all. I thoroughly enjoyed their honey pear, the strawberry mojito, and the blackberry. And in their respective order it went from sweet to bitter, in all the good ways. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we bought some cans to go, and they were just as good back at our hotel room. So if you want a lowkey hard cider spot, give this one a try!

Yelp
Me and my friend love hard ciders and walking around post we found this place and it was a need to stop in. Small place lots of board games and 2 screens to play old school video games. Great Wall art it's a welcoming atmosphere. We got a flight of 6 samplers ciders the guy at the front was so helpful and suggested the blackberry mixed with the hard lemonade and it was amazingly delicious, we also got watermelon, peach, pear, blackberry and the pineapple coconut. We loved them all except the pineapple coconut but if you like pina coladas this is definitely the one for you. Overall we loved it and we plan to go back tomorrow

Yelp
Sign says open, but closed at 2:15 PM on a Friday afternoon. Don't know if there was a change in hours or no one showed up to work on a Friday afternoon.

Yelp
Popped in for a drink and sandwich while on a walk. The staff was super helpful and nice. Loved my cider and grilled cheese sandwich. Seemed like a great place to hang out. Would recommend!

Allen H.

Yelp
Service from all the members that work there is Amazing!! They have a great rotation of ciders and a few beers on tap. Fun atmosphere with vintage video games and a few board games as well.

Yelp
Love how they have flights! Ask the bartender for recommendations. I mixed the peach and Chai, I think, and it was my favorite. The bartender around noon on 9/9 was great!

Yelp
The vibes are bad, they've lost quality over the years. They don't care to keep good employees. Food is overpriced and bad.

Yelp
A trip to Washington isn't complete without a visit to Locust! My sister lives near the Tacoma location, and this was my first time at this Seattle location. Finding the location is pretty easy - it's right on the corner of a large open space, well marked, and hard to miss. The ambiance inside is great! There's music, games, a movie was playing on one of the tv's, and just a general good vibe. The tables are far enough apart where you can't overhear someone else's conversation but the varying types of tables (high tops, low tops, picnic bench-style, smaller two person tables) allow for a lot of people to sit inside! The cider. My goodness, the cider. It's SO good, y'all. I got the Honey Pear (a classic), and it's refreshing and sweet with a little hint of sour, and just everything you need in a cider. My sister refilled a growler of it because she loves it so much! I would definitely check this place out if you've never been before. If you have or are a frequent guest, I'd recommend getting their Locust membership - lots of great perks that are totally worth it!

Yelp
From California, stop by every time I'm in Seattle for work fresh from the airport. Absolute best ciders on the west coast. A lot of options and seasonal specials. Anyone who likes ciders, sweet tooth or not, they have a lot of options. Definitely recommend the flight. Very welcoming, even to those out of state, different backgrounds.
google avatar

Jamie J.

Yelp
Large option of ciders - sweet to dry. A few beers too. Unfortunately out of stock of cans of their driest cider and one of the three beers was also out of stock (tap). It was a cold Seattle day so it is nice that the place has indoor seating. You can pick as little of many ciders you would like for a flight - they charge by each mini glass.

Yelp
I'm finally getting to this review as we were here back in November! Such an awesome spot with both indoor and outdoor seating! We basically ordered every cider and beer on their menu, Definitely had our favorites and lesser favorites but order all very soild! Order at the bar and seat yourself style, then return flights to empty bus bins! Alittle pricey I will say for what I'm used to paying for flights!

Yelp
Chill place. I'm just visiting Seattle for the first time. Was walking around cold. Saw a sign advertising hot mulled cider. Was not disappointed. It was a mix of 2 ciders plus a little something something I do t remember. But when it came to the table, I thought initially I wouldn't like it because of the strong sweet vanilla scent. But when I tasted it, I was delighted by the tangy pear flavor. It's a Sunday night and it has people, but I also felt comfortable le sitting and journaling. It's quiet enough to have nice conversations, and they have a nintendo. They also have a sparling apple juice non alcoholic on tap, which I didn't get a chance to try. But it was nice to see a featured NA item.

Yelp
Cider and Nintendo... you can't go wrong! Had the Honey Pear and it was really good! Don't remember what my bf ordered, but it was pretty good as well. They also had beer options. By far my favorite place I've been to for cider. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Ok I wanted to love this place. It has a laid back, cool ambiance and the staff are super friendly and helpful, but the ciders werw beyond subpar. They have 9 ciders with two slushes and about 3 other beers. We opted for a few ciders. We chose Dark Maple, Ginger Lime, and Black Currant. The black currant, although left wanting was the best out of the three. The dark maple lacked any distinct taste and especially did not even have a hint of maple which was disappointing. The ginger lime was bland and all around boring. Pros: the location, the video games, cool staff, clean establishment Cons: the cider

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in back in March and had such a great time. The place isn't very large and so it's a super great place to have some great cider and hang out. We really loved all of their cider options, and even got another flight after we finished our first one. We'll definitely be coming back as soon as we can!

Yelp
Hidden away down the Harbor steps it's a tasty little stop. We visited during a quick long weekend visiting in town, and rolled in literally just as they were opening. We did some samplers, with a few beers and some cider. It's got a cool vibe inside though the place was empty save us and the bartender. The beers and cider were both fine, I'm not sure we had anything that was exceptional, though I'll be honest, we drink our way through new cities and our weekend in Seattle was no different, so we'd already had plenty to drink over the weekend and we aren't in our 20s anymore, so it can be hard to keep guzzling booze. Regardless, we enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate to go back again in the future. It might be tough to find, but it's worth it!

Yelp
The beer and aesthetic vibes here were great. We had the hazy IPA and another IPA. I can not say the same about the vibes from the employees. Not very engaging and just kind of stared at you as you ordered and asked questions about the beers. This could be because it was a Thursday evening so maybe they were dead all day and had long shifts. Still could lively up a bit and it would be great hang out spot.

Yelp
Love this place. Just came here for ciders (which we love) and they have a cute and cozy environment. Lots of games! We played Scattergories and Slap Jack. Just overall a cool chill bar in a great area. I would love to come back here! They don't have much food or anything, but lots of cute items to buy and just a great vibe overall.

Yelp
Nice location with seating outside around Harbor Steps. Unlike other reviews, I thought the service (purple haired bartender) was great! She was attentive when my beer was getting low . . . Had a dry sense of humor (maybe some reviewers could not pick up on that) . . .and was pleasant to talk to as she poured my groups cider and beer. Lots of cider to try with 4 local beers on tap. Quite enjoyable. Worth a visit if you want to try something different.

Yelp
Really nice dry cider! And the black cherry maybe should be illegal! So nice you forget it has alcohol! Try them!

Robert N.

Yelp
With no no shortage of spots to grab a beer in Seattle, what separates them? Service of course and in this regard Locust Cider excels. Ally was friendly, helpful and on point with her service. You feel like you are at a friends house having a beer (or cider). Love they have games there to play as well. Definitely worth a stop!
google avatar

Mayte L.

Yelp
Although I personally am not into cider they have a great IPA and some of the best white wine I've ever been served from a can. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Kalani and Amy are both fantastic with their recommendations for when you do want to dabble with ciders. Great place and vibes!

Yelp
This review is for their new location that just opened in First Hill on Terry Ave. Im excited to have a cider place so close! Staff is very friendly and they have an easy online ordering system set up. We've gone in a few times to get a growler filled. It's super easy and a great deal. We tried the honey pear and citrus peach ciders. I would recommend both.
google avatar

Shane V.

Yelp
Love that First Hill finally has a place like this. Beer was great, loved the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Hard to find but just know it's o e stairwell down @ Harbor Steps. Excellent range of ciders. Friendly staff. Could benefit by offering more than just sausages for food but if you like cider, definitely go here.
google avatar

Skyler A.

Yelp
Cider was alright. Had the currant, which was a solid B and then the original dry cider. The latter was pretty meh. Good spot for people watching, but better options for cider elsewhere.
google avatar

James D.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place for a while now and I'm not really into ciders but Locust cider has some really good drinks come to find out. The staff is really awesome too, especially Zach. He was really knowledgeable about his ciders and played amazing music. He kept an engaging conversation while handling a rush of indecisive customers. I didn't have to wait more than a moment before being offered my next beverage despite the growing crowds. 10/10 will be back. Thanks for keeping it awesome Zach!

Yelp
Teresa (lady with the purple hair) is so fun, remembers everyone - and especially their dogs! - by name.

Yelp
Terrible service,Women with purple hair are very impolite and false,Definitely not recommended

Yelp
Love this place. I work on the waterfront, so I'm looking forward to being a regular.

Yelp
Me and my wife went here for the first time on Friday since it was practically next door to our apartment, and had no real expectations. After hanging out there for an hour and a half (and drinking several AWESOME ciders), however, we decided to pay for a membership on the spot! The open, well-lit atmosphere is nice, and I love the fact that they've got a couple of video game systems set up in the corner. The people were great too! We're both looking forward to becoming frequent patrons.

Yelp
Awesome place for beer and cider in downtown Seattle. Shout-out to Zack who really knows his shit!! Joined the swarm and it has turned out to be a great value. Check out this hidden gem in Post Alley at Harbor Steps.
