This is a good place for enjoying nice pastries and hot chocolate🥰. On weekend usually busy. They have indoor table before- but lately I only see outdoor tables. The place is not big but cute. I prefer to come here on weekdays. 🥐Trulin’s fav: Pistachio, Almond and Raspberry Tart ☕️: Their hot chocolate is mind blowing

🥐✨ Fourth time at Lode Pies & Pastries and I’m still dreaming about their pastries! I drive from Newcastle just for this kind of happiness 😋🚗💨 Big shoutout to the amazing chef Riccardo 👨‍🍳 – you can taste the passion in every flaky, buttery bite 🧈💛 Every croissant I’ve tried? 🤤 Perfect. The team? So sweet and welcoming 💐 Highly recommend if you’re in Sydney – don’t miss it! 🥐🥐🥐🥐🥐 ✨💛🍯☕🍓

OMGGGGGG!!! What I can say about this pastry shop, it was really really niceee~ They made my day 🌈✨ (on rainy day 🤭) I’m the one who doesn’t like pastries 🥐 that much, but this this this !!! PERFECT and I’ll be back for more. There have savory and sweet both are lovely. I thought they would serve only dessert 🧁 but they had wagyu & mushrooms 🥮 I also ordered a yuzu tart🍊it tasted amazing. I will re-order for sure 👍💚 I’m coming back 🔜✔️

Hands down my favorite almond croissant in Sydney!! I am actually a chef, graduated culinary school, worked in professional bakeries, and I have never had an almond croissant this lovely elsewhere! A pop of lemon and orange zest to break up the sweet is such a delight. The prices are a little high, but fair considering the quality! Would come here every week for a lil treat to myself when I lived in the city!

Cute little cafe! My friend & I had their Pistachio Croissant and Raspberry Tart. Both taste so good. The texture was crispy & flaky with a right level of sweetness. The pistachio cream was divine. I also had the ice strawberry matcha. Love it.

Some really nice quality pastries. Pretty much when you’re at the top end, what separates you from the others is the texture and I thought both pie and tart were had a good crispy flaky texture whilst also having its nice flavour as you would expect. Just note this place does not take cash and there was issue with Apple Pay but hopefully was just me. Thankful I brought my physical card to get it sorted. Would be down to try other food items both savory and sweet.

We had the wagyu and mushroom pie, pistachio croissant and the miso eggplant today. Service was good, everyone was really friendly and the pastry themselves are very well done. Buttery, warm, crispy and the layers look really beautiful. I do wish the pistachio croissant had more pistachio flavour cos it tasted like 5% pistachio and 95% pastry cream. Been here several times to try other flavours sooo, overall I think it’s a reliable pastry shop.

Ordered a few pastries for takeaway. They are nicely packed, the miso eggplant is packed with bag that keeps the temperature. The sweet ones appeals more to me. Pistachio croissant has a lovely saltiness and blends well with the cream. The dark roasted nuts on top adds another layer of flavour. The roasted coconut slices on the yuzu tart adds a lot of fun to it. The acidity is neutral and gentle. Both matches well with tea and coffee. The miso eggplant would an option if you prefer savouriness. It’s bit too salty for me but the pastry itself is very nice. Good balance between crispy and soft. Recommended: Pistachio croissant Yuzu Tart
