A super charming and very stylish property on the side of a beautiful nature protected lake, no boats, just birds and beavers, owned by a family in its third generation - so a cherished and loved property - you definitely feel that when you arrive||Like much of the Carmargue, you feel like you could be on a Spanish Ranch- the properties / rooms are like stables, with a place to park your car in front of your room - you drive past the Palamino Stables and the horses drink in the water way behind the property - but it doesn’t smell really horsey||The rooms are white walled, cement floors, wooden cupboards - stylish, paired back, cool - the best thing is the view and the terrace - the windows have electronic blinds you can activate from bed, and the view is tranquillity and beauty. It’s a very very special place.||The pool is an infinity pool in black stone, looking onto the lake - very cool||The breakfast room sits next to the pool, on the edge of the lake, and the ducks, swans AND a family of beavers come and have breakfast with you … you can feed them - carrots / bread … it really is magical||The staff are lovely - but you don’t see much as it’s a very bed and breakfast vibe, so no staff are around after 6 - and no food / drinks / service after that time, but you are free to hang out at the pool - so I do get why it’s an adults only property. ||Breakfast is delicious - I think they do sharing plates around the pool for cheese and charcuterie.. but we didn’t have that - just breakfast||Stylish, chilled and the nature is just magical - highly recommend!

Starting with a wonderful welcome the staff here are always happy to help. The location is stunning as is the entire complex. Cannot recommend enough for a calming and relaxing break. Lovely food and service and cannot wait to come back again

This is a lovely place and I'm so glad we discovered it. Our room was very nice and comfortable and overlooking the water and its wildlife. The dining room and breakfast were great--a beautiful space with great food. We had tapas one night in our room, served by the hotel, and that was terrific--delicious and so beautifully presented. Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly. The owner--Benoit--is a great help. And the pool was a real treat.

The lodge is wonderfully integrated into the beautiful Camargue. The rooms are simple yet perfect, with a beautiful view of the sunset. A particular highlight is the breakfast - both the food and the room, which looks out directly into the estuary and its abundant treasure of wildlife. We loved our stay and will be back again.

The Lodge is quiet and gorgeous, just a few minutes drive into town but a world away. All the details are attended to in the rooms, which are very comfortable (love the auto closing blinds). The breakfast is scrumptious, the pool area 5-star, but what made it all perfect was the friendly staff who met our every need and made us feel truly welcome. We will be back!

Such a stunning and quiet place to stay, right next to the water and wildness of the Camargue (but also close to the town for the restaurants). The owners and staff were always kind and friendly, and the roulotte was an absolute treat to stay in. The included breakfast was excellent, with many homemade cakes, fresh breads and brioche, homemade fruit purees & fromage blanc, ... We had some good meals in the town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, but our favorite dinners were platters of local salumi, cheeses, olives, vegetables, and a bottle of wine, delivered by the hotel to the terrace of our room. Nothing could beat those simple, delicious meals sitting quietly next to the water. Another thing that made our trip even better: every one of the hotel's recommendations for activities and food was wonderful. We took two horseback rides while we were there: the one we chose with online research was lovely. The one the hotel recommended was spectacularly good. And they also recommended a really special restaurant we never would have found on our own. I can't wait to return in the spring.

We stayed in the roulotte for one night before traveling further north. What an exceptional experience! Situated slightly away from the other rooms at the location, it feels remote and very exclusive. Having spent a few days in the Carmague, I now appreciate the relevance of this Gypsy style caravan. Greeted by the very friendly receptionist, we were shown to a beautifully decorated roulotte, the overnight stay was pure pleasure. Extra touches like a kettle and coffee machine, minibar, dressing gowns and slippers complete the feeling of luxury. Bathroom and shower area are wonderful with l’occitane bathroom supplies provided. Terrace area outside with bistro table and chairs leads you to the hidden gem of a outside hot tub for two! The swimming pool is wonderful surrounded by seating and beds, towels provided. Breakfast was delicious served by very friendly staff to a terraced area overlooking the water. With birds arriving and departing as you eat it’s simply wonderful. Parking on site, recommendations (in English) for restaurants (they even rang one and reserved for us) meant we had a great night there - only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

Beautiful place in Camargue. Situated in plain nature and still very central to everything. The rooms are good in size, very clean and each one is offering a beautiful view onto the lake. The lodge is offering a selection of very tasteful and generous tapa plates which are served on the terrace of the room. Wunderful, fresh and varied breakfast including the daily visit of bivers and birds. |Our thanks go to Benoit and his team. They took wonderful care of their guests and were there for every little request. I also very much appreciated that Benoit did only recommend tours and restaurants which he himself had tried out and really was convinced of|Definitely one of the best places to stay when visiting the Camargue!
