just 1.5-2 hrs from jakarta. we stayed at Limas Gede. amenities was ok. ada handuk but bring your own toothbrush and mukena. hospitality was great, mas sani guide our way to the place, food was delicious the highlight of our trip, fusion of west and east kind of thing.. steak was flowing :D there’s hiking tour and farm tour at 10am which unfort we didnt join.. pappy the farm’s dog was so friendly.. wifi is limited in the main area.. i really enjoyed showering under the direct morning sunlight.

One of my favourite escapes from Jakarta. I have been going at least once a year for the last eight years. Beautifully-designed rooms, delicious meals, and wonderful hospitality in a child-friendly environment. My kids run free on the farm.

Best place within easy reach of Jakarta. Amazing hosts. Amazing food. Amazing experience. Excellent value.

I have been coming here for ages, since the beginning, and can't say enough good things about the place. It is a seasoned eco-lodge with genuine hospitality, some of the best food I have ever tasted, thoughtfully decorated rooms and public spaces, and a solid commitment to sustainability and being a force for good, locally, for their team, for their local community. Keep up the excellent work, Bang Jo, Bu Ayu, and team! Semangat! And for those of you wondering if this place is a good fit, if you are a good person who likes nature, appreciates delicious and healthy food, and values a more evolved kind of tourism, you will LOVE this place. I would give this place seven stars if I could.

I'm missing this magical space! We stayed for 3 nights at Imah Babeh. The room was comfortable but the first night we could not really sleep cause we couldn't get use to the sounds of nature as we sleep (and the sound from the mosque nearby). Ear plugs might be useful. But we slept well from the second night onwards. We had everything we needed, hot water, comfortable bed, hairdryer (!!), mosque repellent, shampoo etc etc. And we were fed really well. The food, oh the food.... We loved every bit of it. Being vegetarians, we appreciate that most dishes were vegetarian friendly! For every meat dish, there is usually a vegetarian version prepared. The vegetables were so fresh, the salads were wow. Everyone is really friendly too, including Puppy! Puppy is the sweetest! Missing the space, the vibes, the food! Note to those coming in from overseas to book your flight out of Jakarta after 5-6pm, so that you can enjoy lunch and not miss your flight back. We almost missed our flight, but thankfully we made it. Looking forward to our next escapade here!

Where do I start? everything is awesome. 5 stars for the service because the staff really made us feel like home - very kind and approachable, really thinks of our comfort. I love the ambiance and most of all, THE FOOD! the salads are amazing, as well as the live cooking experience and how the staff are open to explain what ingredients are used - mostly homegrown and handpicked from the farm. Only a bit of a downside (of which the team were able to solve this very quickly) was that the solar-powered lights in our room was dead at around 9:00pm - so the team managed to moved us to another room, which was just across our room, and arranged the room quickly, also made sure that the gas for hot water is full — so we can take hot shower at night without issues - and that was awesome! I love the main lounge because of the eccentric set-up, and the concept of disconnecting and talking with people. Too bad I didn't try the cocktails! I also love how thoughtful it is to have kids corner with toys and books - my 3.5 y.o. toddler stayed there all the time. the farm tour arranged for my toddler and the short trek arranged for us were awesome too. Overall - we're satisfied and definitely will come back.

We had a wonderful stay and still can't stop raving about it. The surroundings are super beautiful and you are away from the hustle and bustle. The staff offers an incredible service without losing the cozy and familiar flair. The food also leaves nothing to be desired and always offers a wide range of delicious and healthy food, including veggie options on request. We would come here again at any time!

Amazing getaway from Jakarta. It would honestly be hard to find something to complain about this place. It’s one of those rare places where you feel at home, kinda like you live there. The food is locally grown and delicious, the cocktails are amazing and the owner has spectacular taste in music and the vinyl collection to match it. The owners pay an incredible amount of attention to both sustainability and guests’ comfort.
