Loft Downtown

I see great potential here, i got the loft burger, sadly the bun felt very cheap like store bought. The meat and cheese on the other hand felt high quality and tasted rich in flavour. The atmosphere was nice. The cafe is in a small side road which was enjoyable!

The place itself has really nice ambience, but the food feels like complete scam. I ordered a pistachio waffle that, according to their menu is "handmade and fresh" and costs shameless 900 RSD. So I thought, okay, for the price it will be a big waffle filled with cream and toppings. Sure enough, I was very much naive and got two thin pieces of a store-bought, cold waffle. I felt scammed. Coffee was okay, the lady serving us was nice, so hence for that two stars.

The food was lovely. Our waiter Nikola was very friendly, always attanetive and patient with us. However, there is indoor smoking in this establishment and if you wanted to be in the no smoking zone (which has absolutely no separation from the smoking zone), you'd have to sit in a different area behind the bar which wasn't the best. I think it's time they stop offering indoor smoking. As a non smoker customer with asthma, it felt like we were being shoved aside. Again there was no actual partition between the smoking and non smoking zones apart from the bar itself, but we could still smell the smoke.

What can I say about this place? Amazing food a lot of options! Very delicious. There is even smoking and non-smoking area. And everyone speaks fluent English.

Loft Downtown in Njegoševa Street is a cozy and modern spot known for its great coffee and even better smoothies. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, perfect for a quick break or a casual meeting. I highly recommend the "Take a Break" smoothie, fresh, creamy, and energizing. The staff was polite and the service quick. A perfect place to escape the busy city rhythm while enjoying something delicious and refreshing.

Most people come here for coffee (and stay for hours) but the food is actually delicious! And the meals are quite big, too

The price-quality ratio is not really proportional. The food is not that bad, but it’s definitely overrated for the price. Another issue is when you ask for tap water, they bring half of a tiny glass. I don’t know, maybe that’s enough for a lizard to drink a little, but not for a person who simply asked for a normal glass of water. It feels like they’re trying to push you to buy bottled water. The ambience is a bit sterile, although that seems to be the concept of the place. Their target audience seems more semi-celebrity / trendy oriented, so I can’t blame the restaurant for that choice, only for the service and the extremely small amount of tap water they serve.
