Loft Hostel

Super cute hostel with retro vibes. The location was good (near metro and tram stops) and the facilities were clean. Its in a fairly quiet neighborhood while only being a ~15 minute walk from many popular bars. The staff were also very friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see.

The Best Hostel in Budapest This is not a party hostel. The vibe is super welcoming and warm. The volunteers and owners are incredibly helpful and kind. The location is well-connected, and the facilities, like the kitchen and common areas, are always clean.

Amazing place. Cozy atmosphere, homely and sociable with a spacious common area and a small but well-equipped kitchen. The staff is very friendly. Alessandro is the owner and a very nice guy. He'll help you in any way he can and give you all the information you need. I will definitely stay here again.

The loft is the perfect place for you who wants to live in an environment that feels more like home than a company, super cosy place in the best location possible in Budapest. The fact that the amount of people staying there is quite restricted allows you to connect to the ones around you much more, it’s not a party hostel like some other in Budapest, but usually there is something happening every night. Also the hosts knows a lot about the city, so if you want som inside information they provide an excellent service. They’re also extremely extreamly nice, thanks for that Anna and Alexandro! I’ll definitely be back!

Would 100% recommend. I really enjoyed my time here. The atmosphere is really cosy and friendly and I immediately felt at ease. The hostel has a homey vibe. Anna and Alessandro made me feel very welcome from the start. Everything was cleaned constantly. They even let me borrow a towel and flop flops for the spa for no extra charge. And the location is simply fantastic. The hostel is situated in this cool old building and it felt safe, since 2 different entrance codes were needed. Good value for money. Would definitely revisit.

Small hostel with very friendly owners. After a day you get to know half of the other guests, which leads to good company for exploring the city or going out. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a hostel, with an oven, 2 mokka coffee makers and several decent knives. There is free tea and coffee to ease rhe morning after a night out. It goes without saying that this is the best hostel in Budapest imo

I couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay in Budapest. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When I arrived Anna gave me very useful informations about what to visit and how to move. The owner Alessandro is super chill and he can be often found in the common room chatting with his guests. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. They provide a free laundry service, as well as flip flops -that also can be taken to thermal baths- and soap. The position is very central and well connected to metro and tram lines. At night the place is very quiet despite it being near the nightlife area. I definitely recommend the Loft Hostel to anyone planning to visit Budapest!

Such an awesome place. Alice and Alessandro work tirelessly to keep it the best in Hungary. Their combination of strengths and commitment to every little detail in the hostel means you won't find a better place to stay unless they open it. The beds are ridiculously comfortable, there are mosquito nets in the windows which is a must, laundry can be done for a small fee. The facilities are amazing. There is coffee and tea available. The social atmosphere is super engaging. If you want to go out every night you can, but if you want to work on your laptop in the comfortable lounge mostly then you can do that too. There are even some weights. Props to Anna, who is incredibly sweet and smiley and keeps everything oiled and the vibes super happy. When you stay you get a QR code to an incredibly helpful city cheat sheet with a run down of all the city's gems. The beds are placed far enough apart that everyone can sleep in peace. There's a nice dining area and cooking appliances sufficient to make a decent restaurant quality meal. Location is super central and on the river - you can't do much better. It's a special vibe and my review will never do it justice. Thank you so much for everything team!
