We spent one night at this hotel which is a converted spinning mill (think high ceilings and concrete with minimalist but tasteful soft furnishings). Our modern room was very spacious with a large bed and separate seating area with sofa and desk. Unusually for a Swiss hotel we also had tea/coffee/kettle in our room which was welcome. The bathroom had a good shower over a large bath and Rituals toiletries. Our room also had a large balcony overlooking a river (gushing water but good soundproofing!) with lake and mountains beyond. We also enjoyed taking a look at the Le Corbusier drawings on display in the downstairs gallery. The breakfast had a plentiful array of mueslis and granolas with nuts, seeds and dried fruits and a good selection of warm bread rolls. The cheese and meat selection was a little limited though good quality. The self-service check-in/out and breakfast meant that the hotel did feel a little impersonal. That aside, we enjoyed our stay.

It's basic, 'industrial-style' hotel..strange experience checking in with glitchy self-service. assisted by helpful person on reception, while the manager for some strange reason refused to investigate...might have been a bad day otherwise perhaps not suited for hospitality?!? Compensated by the location - stunning views.

Nice place, with good idea and history. It was a little bit cold when we arrived in the room, and took longer to warm the high ceiling room. Easter breakfast was very nice and well organized, and we enjoyed it. The room is in industrial style and a little basic furnished. Receptionist is not there after some time, so there was no one to ask for additional blankets. For us was a a bit more money for value. Nevertheless we enjoyed on our stay at the hotel and region around Walensee.

We had booked a room, and had it confirmed several times, 6 months ahead of a wedding. Due to overbooking, we ended up in their wellness area, a large, sterile room, equipped for their wellness offerings, but not suitable for a comfortable night. The lights in the sauna couldn’t be turned off, the shower area was missing shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Except for an apology nothing was done to make up for it. I can not recommend this hotel!

We book for the Tiny House Gondel and it was an amazing and unique experience. The location is perfect on the shore of the lake and very calm. The Cabine was clean and well featured as well as the bathroom place. The fondue served on the terrasse taste really good and the breakfast served on the terrasse with the sunrise was perfect. |Special Mention to Li which offered a really good service, she was helpful kind and friendly.||Thank u ! |

The hotel lobby was extremely clean. Very nicely decorated. the room was big, comfortable and had a beautiful view as well. the balcony was easy to access although it wasn't quite isolated enough from the next door, public balcony. What I believe the room could use is some more art. these rooms have history connected to them, which could be further presented through art works or pictures on the walls. Overall though, a very beautiful place to stay either with family friends or even alone.

A very cool atmospheric environment was turned into a chic, stylish hotel which even has a motorbike loft where guests can park their bike/motorbike inside the room. The double bed in the loft is huge and super comfortable and the open view bathroom has fantastic Rituals cosmetics. Their restaurant, Sagibeiz is a five minute walk away which might not sound ideal for a breakfast walk but its stunning lakeside location definitely makes it worth the effort. This is a hugely popular wedding location so it comes with a bit of a hefty price tag but the whole atmosphere makes up for it. And if you are lucky, then you get to meet the wonderful Marika at the reception who is all hearts and smiles, a wonderful hostess.
