"Most of Reykjavík’s bars are unpretentious affairs to say the least, with dress codes being almost unheard of. Almost. Enter Loftið, which serves high-end cocktails in a chic and breezy upstairs lounge. The decor—asmart wooden bar litbya rack of danglingmismatched light bulbs, vintage-inspired wall hangings, classic barstools, and comfortable leather armchairs—draws a slightly older crowd, dressed smartly (jeans, collared shirts, jackets) to match and embellish the sophisticated atmosphere. The occasional jazz band will squeeze in too."

Great cocktails and service. The location marker on Gmaps appears off. It's just down from the Irish pub.

Great place to relax. The atmosphere is very laid back and cozy. Perfect when you just want to hang out for a few drinks. The bartender makes amazing mixed drinks off the menu. I wish this was closer to us. It has such a great location.

Drinks come in chilled glasses - Grand delight - has some espresso beans, yummy like coffee milk, not too strong They might not know the ingredients for items, so maybe check before you order something off-menu. Ex sazerac Located on the second floor. A cool atmosphere, with Edison bulbs, Leather seats, and sewing decor. Happy hour: $15 instead of $24 until 9pm

The place is so nice and cozy. Pretty cool ambiance. Definitely somewhere to hang out in with friends. Amazing drinks too! Bartender definitely knows what he’s doing. Wish we had something like this back home.

No drink descriptions, bartender kept offering me classic drinks when I came in for something unique. I thought they were a good cocktail bar with their own unique drinks, disappointed.

Asked if Úlfur beer was on happy hour, got a “yes” answer. Then I was charged 1100 kr. instead of 1350 kr. That’s really stretching the term “happy hour”.

Fun night.
