"The Auberge du Vieux-Port is housed in a 19 th -century leather merchant building and faces directly onto the St. Lawrence River, with its summertime cruise ships and wintertime snowy beauty. The hotel opened in 1997, with a second building—another old warehouse—added in 2001. Original beams, brick, and stonework give the lobby a historic feel, as does the gorgeous, wood-framed fireplace. The rooms combine original features such as large casement windows with ultra-luxe touches like marble bathrooms and multi-jet showers. Breakfast is complimentary and goes far beyond the usual buffet to include a full à la carte menu (the eggs Benedict are sublime); it can even be delivered to guests' rooms for an indulgent breakfast in bed. The old port location puts guests right in the thick of things. Camera-toting tourists on horse and carriages clip-clop past by day, while at night the streets buzz with the city’s fashionable inhabitants chatting in French and English on their way to visit the latest bar or restaurant."

What an experience.. We chose to get a loft for our Anniversary trip to Montreal and we left thinking that we simply couldn’t have asked for a better service. Everything from reception to Valet was amazing, and they accommodated very well to our English speaking ways. A special thank you to Ezgi from the reception, she was very personable, informative and helped us with recommendations and directions! If the owner is reading this, give that woman a raise. As for the loft itself, we got a single loft and were not disappointed. It had stunning aesthetics, a wonderful jacuzzi, and very homey vibes. We had personal room heaters to control temperatures. All around, exactly what we were hoping for, left nothing on the table.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed in the lofts which is a separate building from the main hotel. As soon as we got out of our Uber upon arrival, a staff member rushed out to help us inside with our luggage. Even though we arrived several hours earlier than check in, we were encouraged to check in early! We were treated so well and treated kindly. The staff helped us across the street and carried our luggage. The lofts are up the stairs and there are no elevators which is fine for us. The loft was beautiful and very spacious, modern, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed in room 704. When we needed extra towels and even some bottled water we made a call to the front desk and they quickly delivered to us at no charge. The next hotel we stayed at charged us $9 for a bottle of water. We wish we were back at Hotel Lofts du Vieux-Port! Perfect location, right by the port by the big Ferris wheel. Right outside your door are hundreds of restaurants, shops, and more. Would recommend 10/10.

Our train got us into Montreal several hours before the official check-in time. The staff greeted us as we arrived, assisted us with our luggage and allowed us to check in early to both rooms. They acknowledged my father in law's birthday with a note and gift delivered to his room. Front desk staff and staff at both restaurants were extremely friendly and courteous. This was an exceptional stay when compared to other recent travel experiences. Bravo ADVP!|We will 100% stay there during all subsequent visits to Old Montreal.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our first experience at Auberge du vieux port. The client service was impeccable by all staff, but Alexandra did stand out by going an extra mile for us. Our valet was also very professional and kind to us. We will never forget our experience and we can't wait to go back. All the facilities at Auberge du vieux port were extra clean and refreshing. The decor, the vide, the drinks and the food were impeccable as well. We give Auberge du vieux port 12 out of 10. Thanks again!

We had a great stay for the long weekend at the Lofts. We were a bit surprised there was no elevator and we had so many stairs to walk up - but the service was excellent and we had help to carry up our bags. We loved the apartment style lofts. It had almost everything we needed in the kitchen to prep food (the only thing missing was a cutting board). Happy that there was an iron and ice tray we could use. We didn’t have a fireplace like a lot of the photos show, but we had a nice jacuzzi tub! The best part for us was the comfortable bed and the location in the old town was perfect. We also loved the big windows which let in good sunlight - too bad we couldn’t open them to get some fresh air. Overall, great experience and would come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Auberge Du Vieux-Port. The rooms are beautiful, beds are very comfortable, and view of the river was lovely. The hotel has a ton of old-world charm but is also full of modern amenities and the location is perfect for a Montréal trip. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, especially Ezgi at the front desk and the management at Gaspar. We will absolutely stay at this property every time we come to Montreal!!! It’s a wonderful experience all around!

A Gem in the Heart of History||This hotel is perhaps the best boutique property we’ve stayed at in our 35 years of international travel. Too often, travelers choose large American-style hotels in tourist or downtown areas—but this one offers something far more special.||Located in the heart of the historic Old Port, the hotel immerses you in cobblestone charm, surrounded by local neighborhoods, quaint streets, bistros, and outstanding restaurants. Beautifully renovated from its early beginnings, the rooms blend old-world character with modern comfort: exposed brick and stone walls, updated outlets, a stunning designer shower, and a spacious, luxurious bed that promises a perfect night’s sleep.||It’s an ideal “sleep-in and jump-off” spot for both cruisers and visitors. Spend your day exploring the city’s rich history, then return to the Old Port to face your toughest decision—choosing from a dozen incredible restaurants representing cuisines from around the world. Afterward, enjoy a fun and romantic evening stroll through the charming, historic streets that make this area so unforgettable.

We checked into their main hotel which is Auberge Du Vieux-Port. The Porter from this hotel then takes your bags and walks you one block up to the "Lofts" building. |This property has lots of charm and history. The old wood beams and the thick stone walls added to this fun experience. The Loft we stayed in is located on the 2nd floor and we did not have a problem with the street noise or the constant movement of people. To me it was a beautiful view from our windows people watching, and looking at the other old buildings in the area. |The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you would require to cook any meal there. If you don't feel like cooking all of their restaurants had great meals with lots of options to choose from. The washroom has a beautiful rain shower head that was perfect after a lot of walking to relax in. |We were located one block north of Rue St. Paul which is a hub of pedestrian traffic. Everything was centrally located for us. |Bleze L the front desk supervisor made sure to answer all our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend the Lofts or the Auberge Du Vieux-Port to anyone looking for romance, Central location in historic old Montreal.
