Such a great little gem in Pinedale. Loved having a cabin to myself and my dog appreciated the extra pet bag with sheets & a bowl. Really nice touch. Great location, just a block from all the downtown restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent customer service & communication as well.

This historic hotel was absolutely delightful. The cabins/rooms had a historic vibe while still offering modern conveniences and being exceptionally clean. It was easy to find, and the staff was on point. We chatted with the owner for a bit, and she gave us some great tips, particularly for an incredible hike just outside of town. We felt it was a great value, especially considering its proximity to Grand Teton and Jackson, and would recommend this precious historic property to anyone passing through Pinedale!

My wife and I visited the area for 3 days. We did not make prior reservations and called the night before arriving from Yellowstone. Due to a cancelation they put us in thier off-site air b&b. It was the best air b&b we have ever stayed at. The place was clean and stocked with everything you could need. Sophia and Marlon were very polite and helpful. They provided good recommendations on things to do and place to eat in the area. If you plan to stay in Pinedale I urge you to consider this motel.

Absolutely recommend! This place has it all. The beauty, charm, cleanliness and all the cute little amenities you could imagine. It's so cozy, yet has so much room. Friendliest people! We felt so welcome here, and just literally felt at home. If you stay in Pinedale, this is the place! We can't wait to come back. Log Cabin Motel is home away from home.

This historic hotel is just delightful! The cabins were absolutely adorable with their vintage vibe while still offering modern conveniences (including a full size refrigerator!). It was clean, easy to find, and close to the heart of Pinedale. The staff was great and offered us some tips on what to do in the area, including a short hike just outside of town that rivaled the views from nearby Grand Teton. I can’t recommend this property enough. Wish we could have stayed longer!

During a recent cross-country drive with my mom and dog, we were lucky to find the Log Cabin Motel in Pinedale, Wyoming for a much-needed overnight stop. After a long day on the road, this charming motel was the perfect place to rest and recharge. We were immediately struck by the rustic, inviting feel of the place. The cabins truly live up to the name, offering a cozy and unique alternative to a standard hotel room. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing evening. We were especially grateful for how welcoming they were to our dog, making our travel a lot easier. The location in Pinedale was ideal for breaking up our journey, and the quiet, friendly atmosphere of the town was a pleasant bonus. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring that we and our furry friend had a great stay. The Log Cabin Motel felt like a home away from home and provided the perfect, peaceful interlude in our long drive. We'll definitely keep it in mind for any future trips through Wyoming!

Wonderful stay here in a real log cabin in September with the leaves changing color. Great location a block from the main street shops and restaurants. Cute log cabins nicely upgraded with shower, bathroom and kitchen. Nice to sit out on the deck and watch the small town. Bed was comfortable and the heater kept everything warm at night.

We stayed here on our way to the Tetons/Yellowstone and the way home a week later. By far our favorite place to stay of the whole trip. I love that they are eco friendly and historic. The two room cabins gives space and privacy that you don't get in hotel rooms. We took the recommendation to drive to the CCC ponds for a short hike and to the top of the overlook. The trees were changing colors. Well worth it!

I love to stay in authentic cabins and these are among the nicest I've had the pleasure of visiting.

I absolutely adore this place and I love Sophie and Sonia. In 7 years this will be 100 years old and I should come back to stay here again at that time to celebrate. Even though they are old, they are Quaint, decorated nicely, and kept up well. It was super clean, everything worked perfect, we even had three chairs to sit on on our front porch. The property is well kept, I watched people outside doing some weed control. Love the history. I WOULD RECOMMEND

This place is so awesome for a motel. It had very campy kind of vibes but I loved it. We got pretty much 2 rooms for 135$ a night which that was pretty crazy and it was very nice considering it was made in 1929 and it was motel. I would highly recommend this hotel for very easy nights and if you want campy kind of vibes.

If you want to try something different than than the same 'ol motel this is your place! What an absolutely amazing place! Individual Log cabins built in 1929 that have been renovated to modern standards. The interiors are decorated in a very individual way. Each cabin has Kitchens or kitchenetts stocked for you with everything you need except your own preferance of food. They all have private decks with chairs and table. Management and staff are accomodating and cheerful. We will definitely stay here again when in Pinedale. Don't miss out on your special stay here!

We stayed for a wedding, what a beautiful place pictures do Mach the cabins. Grounds very well kept, cabin we stayed in cute as heck, bed comfy, cute kitchen, wife loved the full size tub. This place has everything you need for a long stay, only a couple negatives that would not keep us from coming back. Toilet to close to the walk floor slops a little (I'm being nit picky) last thing bring you own coffee, there coffee as not good at all. But that's not the end all be all. I would give this place 10 out of 10 for sure thanks you owners for being so welcoming you are doing a great job love it !

Due to late planning, we were fortunate to be able to get a cabin type room, rather than having to stay at a motel. The log cabin was a true log cabin. It was originally a duplex, but changed to a 2 room cabin. It was cozy, not for people who want to spread out with lots of space. But, they have other cabins that are much roomier. They had coffee ready to go in the coffee maker, enough kitchen supplies to do a little cooking, though we did not cook. They accommodated us in any way that we asked and were very friendly. They are located 1 block off main street which allowed us to walk to restaurants, walking trails, museum, city parks, grocery store and little shops. Our little cabin was on the street and Wells Fargo is across the street. Not much of a view sitting on the porch, but very quiet. The other little cabins are clustered around with some of them having a lovely view of a grassy area with a picnic table.

Loved staying here. The cabins are adorable and they were very accommodating. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a very cute town

This place is so freaking cute!! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They stock the cabins well with necessities and provide a full list of restaurants and area attractions. The owners helped us out by storing a couple of bags for us while we went into the backcountry. The hotel is perfect walking distance to everything in Pinedale. I wish we could have stayed longer!

My sister and I stayed for three nights at the Log Cabin motel. There are no words to describe the exquisite,CLEAN, experience we had. They really pay attention to YOU and every detail of their motel. We were litteraly in tears of joy at viewing our room the first time. The owners are a pleasure to talk with and ASHLEY IS SO PLEASENT..........you would be hard pressed to find a better gem in your travels. Judy & Debbie.

Consider yourself extremely fortunate if you are able to stay here. The hosts are amazing, the location is the absolute best, and the atmosphere is rustic and friendly. You are right in town; an oasis among the restaurants and cool downtown, with willow trees, birds chirping, and a pretty view from your cabin window. As world travellers, we were thrilled with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would give 6 stars.

Stayed here on our way to Montana. The cabin was very clean and super cute. We stayed in the 2 room cabin. It's definitely a unique place to stay. Each cabin has a different story to its history. Sofia was very nice and helpful.

My review is a little unusual because my experience began before I even set foot in Pinedale. I was put in touch with owners Sofia and Forest by a common friend, and over the course of many emails they proved themselves to be extremely welcoming and gracious. They provided me with useful information not just about their establishment, but also about the town and even about the nearby mountains, which served as the reason why I found myself in Pinedale in July. Following a successful ascent of Gannett Peak, which is the primary objective for climbers who pass through here, my team and I were in a quandary about where we would spend our first night after 5 long days on the trails. We didn't have a reservation anywhere because we weren't sure what day we would come out (if weather is a factor). With all hotels full, I made a decision to just show up at the Log Cabin Motel and hope for the best. It was a pleasure to meet Sofia and Forest in person; not only that, we lucked out and got the last cabin available! They hosted us in a rustic cabin that was a little tight for 4 guys, but the availability of space didn't matter much as all we wanted was to clean up and get a good night's rest in a real bed. The bed I was in was comfortable (but anything with a soft cushion would have been comfortable after sleeping in a tent for 4 nights, to be honest), all linen and sheets were clean and arranged professionally. I happened to be the first one taking the shower, which unfortunately turned out to have a problem with the switch from faucet to showerhead, so the much anticipated blast of hot water from above was only a trickle. When this issue was reported to Forest, he immediately inspected the situation and arranged for repairs the following day (the earliest possible time). This didn't help us much as we were scheduled to take off early next morning, but the prompt response was appreciated. Sofia and Forest showed their hospitality by inviting some of the guys to shower in a different bathroom, they pampered us with cookies and a round of adult beverages to celebrate our successful climb, and they passed along locals-only knowledge for our next destination (in the Yellowstone area). I found it really cool to stay in the historical establishment that the Log Cabin Motel is - the info on the walls of our rooms about who passed through there was fascinating. The business is 1 block north of Highway 191 which is biggest street in town, so it gets more quiet and privacy than other lodging options on the main drag. Prices are reasonable, especially if you happen to just show up like we did. The wi-fi was a little slow, but it worked. After this novel of a review, you'd think I was done, but no. When I got home from my trip, I discovered I was missing a bandana. Though I wasn't sure where I had lost it, I got in touch with Sofia and Forest again and found out they had come across it, but they didn't know whose it was. They then mailed it to me free of charge! The Log Cabin Motel is a perfect example of a local business that we need more of across this country. More than anything I appreciated the warm interaction with the people behind the business, because more often than not it's how the people treat you that you remember most. Thank you Sofia and Forest!

Great place and wonderful owners. The log cabins were booked so they put us up at the couple's other motel down the street for bikers and hikers. It was perfect. Recently redone and really clean. They do all your laundry for $10. Place to store bikes. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

I would rent this place if I could. It's too cute for words. After a long day of traveling and trying to find campsite to no avail, my husband and I called the Gannett Peak Lodge to see if we could book a room (as they are dog friendly). The woman who we talked to was so kind and recommended the log cabin as it would be more accommodating. When we pulled in, we were both totally surprised by how cute and quaint it was. The inside is even better. I would stay here every night if I could. Love love love!!!

This is what cabin living is all about ! It's clean comfortable and an easy walk into town. They have done an outstanding job to update rustic cabins with a touch of beauty - the flowers are spectacular . A Great place to stay !

If you are going to stay in Pinedale, this is the place! Historic cabins that are also dog friendly. We rolled in here after a week of backpacking in the Wind River Range, smelly and in desperate need of showers, only to find that I had messed up our reservations and reserved the room for a week later than needed. The owner, Sofia worked her magic & before we knew it, were in a cozy cabin with a loft that kids loved and a big cozy bed. It was perfection. The location is within walking distance to main street and the Wind River brewery. We cannot wait for our next adventure in the Winds that will end here!

My husband and I visited Pinedale recently and stayed at the Log Cabin Motel. I love these small, quiet cabins located off the main drag. Booking the cabin was easily done on the Log Cabin Motel's website, and the price for a three day stay was reasonable. We loved that we could walk to any place in town from the cabin. The only thing that was troubling was the smell of the sheets on our bed. The pillows smelled kind of sour and we wondered if it was because they had not been washed or if it was because they used biodegradable/environmental friendly soap. Everything else about this place was wonderful; it also has an interesting history and is on the National Historic Registry.

Awesome experience. When I arrived I was upgraded for free to a beautiful log cabin. It had an adorable porch, A cute little kitchenette, and a small bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean and very nicely decorated. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The owners did a great job making this quaint and beautiful to stay. We stayed only one night, but I loved it. The covers and sheets were all organic and cozy to sleep in. The view and little porch were charming. The bathroom was nice and shower was perfect. They are small, so the kitchenette was tiny. There was not a great deal of room in there. All in all, though I would go back!!

Nice place! My cabin was spacious and clean. Check in was easy. Internet was a little spotty and pokey, but I expect that when away from major metro areas. I'll definitely stay here again next time I am traveling through Pinedale.

Excellent place to stay, very friendly owners/operator's. We have stayed several times (family of 3) and every time is been great. Always clean with great amenities and they allow pets. Highly recommended, especially for an extended stay.
