"As a matter of fact, hip, hearty, and outdoorsy is a reasonable description of my accommodations at Loge Bend. Loge Camps is a small west coast chain of repurposed and rejuvenated motels, and the name (pronounced “lodge") is an acronym for Live Outside, Go Explore." - Travel + Leisure Editors

The rooms were clean, but definitely needed some repairs done (in our room at one point the floor felt like it was on top of a sinkhole). It wasn't that much cheaper than an Airbnb or hotel in the area, so I expected a little nicer quality. We loved the laid back atmosphere and community spaces. We also loved being so close to all the mountain bike trails (and even got a shuttle up). Also loved the hammock in the room. I want one in mine at home now. If you are an outdoorsy person, this was a pretty cool place to stay.

Google
I stayed by myself for one night. It felt like a motel for outdoorsy people. The room was pretty basic but had the necessities. Rooms are dog friendly and mine smelled a bit doggy. Otherwise it was clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable. The pool and spa were really nice although didn’t open until 10am. The best part was the complimentary mountain bike and the proximity to bike trails. Staff were available if needed but otherwise it was a solitary experience.

Google
This is the perfect Bend hotel! We took complimentary mountain bikes onto the trail right from the hotel. We loved the hammock in the room. The outdoor space was perfect, and we loved the lobby with games, coffee, and beer! The service from everyone was very kind and helpful. We can't wait to come stay again, and try out the hotel locations. I wish we had stayed longer so we could have more time just to hang out on site.

Google
Overall a pleasant stay with some great touches. The staff were truly fantastic—warm, helpful, and welcoming—and we loved the concept of having gear available to borrow, plus affordable pints of excellent beer in the lobby. It’s a fun, family-friendly place with thoughtful amenities. That said, it wasn’t quite what we expected for the price and based on the website. The pool and hot tub are located right next to the road, and the hot tub is covered and enclosed rather than open to the forest, which felt less relaxing than we’d hoped. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, though a few features could use an update. Overall, a good option, especially for families—just not a social, fun couples' escape we were envisioning.

Google
I’m surprised this isn’t a 5 star hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and kind. This is an experience, not just a hotel. I love what they are doing and felt inspired by their fun ideas to make our experience more enjoyable. The kids loved the bunk beds and the hammock. Our dog was with us and we felt like we could comfortably be a family here. I love this place and will stay here again.

Google
Our stay at LOGE was nice! The room was fun and well kept. We loved how dog friendly the whole place was! The number of amenities was so cool! Great quality for the price. The only negative was that the staff at the cafe was less than friendly and pretty grumpy when we showed up close to 9:30pm.

Yuko F

Google
Just a warning - be aware that they will automatically charge you an “amenities fee” of $25 AFTER you book the room. It’s a really good deal if you want to rent any of the equipment (bikes, inner tubes, etc), but we had all of our own stuff, so felt it was sneaky to just have this extra cost tacked on later. I would’ve never known had it not popped up immediately through my Apple wallet.

Google
I was hesitant to stay here based on some of the reviews, I have NO idea what they were talking about. This place was awesome. It was clean and extremely user friendly. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The only thing I wish was different was the cafe not up and running. Their menu looked fantastic. Other than that, the rooms were rad. Hammocks, clean, cute and dog friendly. We are planning to stay here again when we come back through.

Cynthia W.

Yelp
Pretty expensive for the very sparse surroundings. There are new owners, so no in-room shopping for yeti coolers, but the rooms are clean! We once stayed across the street at the the Tetherow were just a little bit more money but it was luxurious and clean with cookies and a handwritten welcome note. I guess this would be great for families since everone lets their kids run wild. There are firepits everywhere and that's nice.

Jessy M.

Yelp
We always love the Loge and this time was no different except it was our puppy John's first time at the Loge which was his late sissy's favorite place to visit and stay, no different for John! He loved the trails and seeing other friendly dogs. Staff and service was great as always.

Bridget C.

Yelp
We have been here twice now (just stopping through on the way to the Gorge in WA. We made a point to get to the hotel a little earlier this last year because it is super cute. There are fire pits and it feels kind of like camping, but there is a nice room to stay in. There is a fridge in the room and two hammocks in addition to the comfortable beds. I also really liked that we didn't even have to check in/out at a desk. The day of, they texted me a door code to get in. I just had to text when we left then. We would like to come and stay for longer because there are free bike rentals and walking trails. We also want to check out Bend more.

Mackenzie D.

Yelp
SUPER cute and fun design! the hammock was my favorite feature (I almost slept there lol)

Katie T.

Yelp
This "chain" of hotels bought old run down hotels and fixed them up on the cheap. When they first opened, they were okay, but you could tell the aging process wasn't going to be pretty unless they invested back into the place. That was around 2020. Well, it's now 2024, and they have not re-invested. We want to love this place. The concept is phenomenal. Our daughter loves the hammock. Location is spot on for paths & the bus to the mountain. But, the bathroom had mold on the walls & the wood molding around the shower was peeling up, cracking, and there was hair and grime plastered into all the crevices. When we wiped up some water off the floor of the main space, the towel was brown from dirt. The beds are insanely hard & don't have a mattress cover. The hot tub smelled like dirty feet. I realize I sound like a "Karen", but it is all true. Please re-invest. If you have a family, I don't suggest Loge. If you are a 20-something and need a weekend away from your van, it may meet your needs.

Billy F.

Yelp
Clearly an old motel that they tried (not so hard) to renovate in 2019... apparently? This place hasn't aged well. Don't be fooled like us... this is a motel 6 with a yeti, and hammock bolted into the ceiling. Listing showed a mountain bike mount and/or ski holders on the wall but they were not in our unit. What's up with the filing cabinet in place of a dresser? Weird. Or the couch that literally doesn't have a cushion in it? The paint is chipping, the walls are dirty, the furniture is dusty, and there is what looks like dog hair all over the place. We went to the bar and waited 10 minutes for a drink but no workers to be found. Hot tub water smells like dirty laundry/stinky feet. I wish I was exaggerating but this place is a dump. Hilarious this place goes for $250-$300 in the summer.

Stephanie I.

Yelp
Amazing that's all there is to say about this place! It's in a great location, you feel far but you are very very close to everything. Love the trails and the staff!!!!

Grace K.

Yelp
Overall it was an adequate place to stay. The bed was clean and the room had all necessary amenities. We only stayed for a night. The check-in via text is great for arriving late at night. We did see a few flies and a spider in the room. Also just a note the cafe only had espresso no milk for lattes or anything so don't count on that.

Mr. N.

Yelp
Booked two nights, room was very nice, rustic and clean. I enjoyed the matteress because I like firm beds. Second day the hot water stopped working and the staff made the nessacary corrections to make the issue right. My only really issues are, the outhouses had not been cleaned out in a while, they literally were leaking out into the parking lot. They were right next to the common area of the fire pit, pool and cafe... area was infused with the warm smell of human waste. Either move them or have a regular cleaning. Common sense honestly...Talk about gross. Second is the cafe/ desk staff were not very friendly.... Not rude, but socially awkward and seemed very agitated to be there. Overall I enjoyed the stay, they could upgrade the WiFi, modernize the rooms a little but again... it's rustic and has its charm and appeal.

Laural O.

Yelp
We went back at LOGE's request to try again. New management and people! It was a lot better.

C H.

Yelp
Not clean. Human hair on the bed sheets. Bathroom was sooooo old. Stained tub, with rotting wood.

Mikaela S.

Yelp
A super cool refurbished motel from way back when! Very vibey, dog friendly (always important for us), and super relaxing. Our only reserve is that we didn't stay longer! After grabbing a quick coffee at the welcome center with the friendly staff our departure morning, we enjoyed a few minutes at the outdoor fire before walking our pup around the property and through the back trails. It's easy to see why guests travel here in the summer - the bike paths look super fun to explore! We had a very roomy king bed room with a sweet hammock, couch, clean linens and towels, TV, mini fridge, and microwave. All the essentials for a great stay. Loved that we could walk right up to the room door and had a full front yard - the very convenient for a couple fetch throws! We didn't get a chance to jump in the hot tub or use the grills (snow lol), but they looked v inviting - next time for sure!

Kristina M.

Yelp
Only wish I came during summer This is for athletes and chill travelers. If you're looking for a different vibe, go elsewhere. Chill, no frills but cute. If you're happy with camping/glamping/motels, this is a dream come true. Little off the beaten path so expect to drive to "stuff".

Lauren M.

Yelp
Bend is a notable gateway to the outdoors and LOGE embodies that spirit in their updated roadside motel. This place is tailor made for outdoor adventurers and also those just with adventurous spirits. Booking and checking in were so easy. The room, though dated and not "pristine", was exactly what we needed and was so close to Mt Bachelor. The lobby cafe area is thoughtfully done and the breakfast and coffee were great. We slept well, the neighbors were friendly and they welcome pets. Would definitely stay again.

Abbey K.

Yelp
Okay stay here !!! The rooms here were so cozy. We went to the hot tub at night. You can rent the bikes for free ! Beds were so cozy and such amazing sitting areas and very close to town! We even had someone stay on the couch as well !

Laura A.

Yelp
Let's start with the positive: near bike trails, bike friendly, comfy bed, great towels, earth friendly bath products, beautifully set in trees, great area to play board games and have a beer, easy contact-less check in. Now the reasons for loss in stars: not the cleanest, fan in bathroom made horrible noise, airconditioner was super loud, no in room coffee and had to pay for drip coffee, run down, paying for the vibe when the room is rather cheap. Due to covid I am not cou to g this against them...bit I imagine they are short staffed and that is why I never received a return call or email after 3 attempts at each...so be thoughtful about this. We wanted an early check in and never heard back.

Anne S.

Yelp
I had the highest hopes for the Loge Bend as it looked so cute and fun but it's horribly managed. I would recommend taking your money else where. We were ignored, not helped and eventually our room wasn't even ready after begging them to get in 30 minutes early as we had to get to a wedding at 4PM. We came back to a key code that wouldn't work and a room that was STILL dirty. We then had to call their on-call representative to figure out a way to get us into a new room.... They had let us know it's not guaranteed to get into a room early, that is fine, but to blatantly not even try for us after we had sussed out the situation with multiple people who told us it shouldn't be a problem is a problem. Again, take your money elsewhere. Oh and if you are to try and not go to Yelp with your feedback out of hopes they will do better and talk to a manager, they won't get back to you :)

Yelp
This family is OBSESSED with LOGE- Bend! We visit each fall, we always have a great time. They are extremely dog friendly. Pre COVID they had bands on the weekends, movie nights etc. Their Hot tub is to die for, it's currently under maintenance so we couldn't enjoy it this year but we still had a great time and enjoyed our visit. Their locally sourced coffee is amazing, highly recommend their Caramel macchiato. My kids enjoy when we get the bunk bed rooms. Customer service is always top notch, walking trails steps away from your door. We have no complaints and really enjoy each trip to LOGE- bend.

Yelp
My friend booked this for a girl's weekend and I had always wanted to stay. However, I think the thing to note is it's definitely far out of town, unless you're in town for Mt. Bachelor, hiking, or biking. It was an affordable Uber/Lyft into town, but just FYI! The retro vibe of the hotel is cool - you can tell they renovated it from the 70's and did a decent job. We were a little bummed out to see the pool empty and the hot tub out of service (but still appeared to be operable). It noted COVID restrictions, but there weren't actually any COVID restrictions to speak of, so we had to change plans from sitting by the pool to something else. No room service which I assume is also from COVID, but no worries on that. The hotel room is nicely appointed...the beds were actually super comfortable. I can see how it's a good spot for winter sports people...it had boot dryers, a fridge, and was well appointed with toiletries that actually smelled good. The hammocks were cool, but I'm not sure they're actually practical or if people use them? Either way, it was fun! We didn't end up using any of it, but they offer rentals ($25 a day I think?) for tubing, free mountain bikes...lots of communal areas. Overall I'd probably stay here again but only if I didn't have plans in the city.

Sovathana L.

Yelp
Loge (pronounced lodge) seems like it once was a summer camp that they have remodeled/renovated into a hotel. The good: -Several trailheads are at the perimeter of the property. -There's really cool gear, like a Yeti cooler, hammock, lightweight outdoor blanket, etc. that you can use during your entire stay for free. If you like the gear and want to purchase it, simply take it home with you and it gets charged to your room. -Several firepits around the compound to spend evenings at to cook s'mores at. -city bikes are free for use -mountain bike rental company on the hotel property -the check-in desk is also a nice coffee shop/lounge area. -the hammock in the room is a plus. It's fun to swing in it in the room. -super pet friendly. There's a fenced in area for dogs to play unleashed. The bad: -photos of the mountain bikes hung up in the room gave me the impression that they'd be in our rooms for us to use for free. They're not. You have to go to the rental company to rent. I feel like it's false advertisement. -the ice machine had no buckets or containers to transport back to your room. Our room did not have one either. I would recommend this place for families. It's a fun, no fuss, accommodation.

Touron J.

Yelp
A bit outside of Bend, which can be nice but also means either a slog bike ride or a car trip when you want to get food. Staffing in the onsite cafe is completely inadequate. The morning chaos as one employee struggled to meet demand must be a desired outcome from management which is a bummer. Also, opening at 7am is too late for many adventures and since this location is outside of Bend a trip into town and then back up the mountain seems silly... Very convenient location if you want to MTB and especially if you are going to use a shuttle. We had a great experience with Cogwild which is on the same property. Loge's onsite bike repair station is nice but the water in the bike shower is more tease than useful for cleaning your dusty shred sled. Also our room didn't have a good way or location to store bikes which was weird since that's such a component of this establishment's summer scene. There was no useable Wifi in our room and the cell data wasn't good enough to do even basic stuff. The concept is cool but the execution is lacking. While the location is solid for recreation it's a little tough for dining and Loge could address that by improving the onsite cafe. I'm a fan of the minimally refurbished old motel concept but I would have preferred fewer trendy chairs and instead some wall bike racks, working wifi, and a morning coffee that didn't involve enabling barista abuse.

Jules H.

Yelp
I love this location!!! Every time I visit Bend I stay here. It's like glamping with the outdoorsy feel but super comfortable and nice when you have kids !!! Went during COVID shut down and everything was off limits, but we're in a pandemic ! We are going again in a couple of weeks and looking forward to things opening up!

Daniel W.

Yelp
This was a fun Hotel! Very recreation friendly for skiers, cyclists, and the outdoor enthusiasts. They offer free Bike Rentals and Snow Shoe rentals. The hotel offers evening events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Friday night we enjoyed a movie in the lobby, Saturday we enjoyed live music and s'mores. The rooms have hammocks hanging from the ceiling to sit back and relax. The rooms are also outfitters with Ski holders, bike hangers, boot driers, a yeti cooler for day use on your outings, head lamps and insulated cups. There is community gathering spots all around the site with fire pits, communal kitchen area, Treager grills to use. Etc. My only disappointment was the outdoor pool is seasonal, and the hot tub was broken. The campus could have better lighting at night. It's a bit hard to walk around on the bumpy, uneven pavement without a light. All in all, it was a fun hotel to stay out, we will be back!

Aaron L.

Yelp
I'd only stay here if I wanted to stumble out my door for a shuttle service with COG--which I can't say enough good things about them. Even then I'd just opt to stay at a cheap hotel and make a 5 minute drive to catch shuttle in the morning. Here's my beef with LOGE...rooms are ridiculously expensive for what they are. For this price one would expect that when you accidentally leave your Bluetooth speaker behind(along with the standard housekeeping gratuity I always leave after my stays) that there might be some follow throw. Both my wife and myself called about the speaker(which we are 100% positive we left in the room) and were told(both times) that someone would get back to us whether they found the speaker or not. We've heard nothing but the crickets since then... Spent around $700 for three nights there(I've never paid that much for a room--not even in a big city--or even Hawaii for that matter)... Well...$700 plus one $200 Bluetooth speaker.

Cotti M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stay. Loge is in need of some maintenance but friendly front desk gal (blond) was awesome. Recommended places to hike and over all very friendly!

Ashley J.

Yelp
Overall this is a best place to rest your head and get some relaxation time. I enjoyed how the rooms felt like adventure spots with a cooler, bike rack and hammock. This is a great spot to stay in Bend!

Ashley S.

Yelp
As previous reviews mentioned this is a great concept, but the cleanliness definitely needs improved. I think if there was an actual cleaning team it would be awesome. Pros: -Variety of activities, we rented the mountain bikes and had a blast -Friendly staff -Great location -Coffee was great -Nice outdoor area Cons: -Dirty. Our towels and bed sheets had brown stains. Floors were dirty. Bathtub was dirty. Fridge was dirty. Shower curtain in our first room wasn't even big enough for the entire length of the bathtub. There were old empty cans in the file cabinet. There was hair all over that hadn't been cleaned up from whoever stayed there before.

Jamie K.

Yelp
First room had no heat and everything was stained stained - pillow on bench, toiletries.... Second room had issues with the door lock (my door was opened all day without my knowledge), the shower didn't drain, the sink didn't drain, the extricate outlets didn't work so everything fell out and wouldn't run or charge...

Jonathan W.

Yelp
This trip started out frustrating because we drove 6 hours to be here and our room wasn't ready. Luckily, the AMAZING manager Jesse took great care of us and made everything right. He was so nice, friendly, and accommodating. Definitely went above and beyond. This hotel has great additions to rooms like a hammock, bike racks, and boot dryers. Definitely one of a kind place. Highly recommend!

Mike S.

Yelp
Lowest price on the west side of Bend so we decided to stay there for one night. We decided to extend our stay one day so we need a new place to stay. Loge is ok for 1,maybe 2 nights if you are planning to just sleep and shower there. The room looked like they may have recently gone through a remodel, one on the cheap. Think of putting a wig on a pig. Way over priced for what you get. Walls super thin, shower/tub didn't drain, mattress was well worn. Coffee maker in room was just hot water maker. Drawers were actually a file cabinet. Yes, they seem to be going for the funky look. Definitely safe place to stay, just not the most luxurious. Price unfortunately is high, but what isn't these days.

Julie M.

Yelp
Nabbed a last minute stay on our way through. Great place for families, they loved the hammock in the room, bikes to enjoy and s'mores by the fire. Kevin was superbly kind and helpful, very appreciated.

Dakota N.

Yelp
This place was so fun and I felt super safe during covid. All the things in the room that you can try out are amazing. Will definitely be coming back

Picabo L.

Yelp
This is a basic 3-star hotel/motel with good amenities and an excellent location. Don't come expecting an immaculate room and top-shelf service; the furniture is from IKEA, the finishing touches are pretty rough, and when you stuff 4 people + gear into a room, things get messy and banged up. Learn to deal with: stuff like broken picnic tables; broken outdoor fire pit; outdoor lighting is very bright and visible through blackout curtains; thin walls; small water heater tank (don't be the last in your party to shower!); popcorn ceiling shedding on you; paying for toothbrushes if you forgot yours. Love: easy trail access and mini bike park for kiddos; super family and dog friendly; coffee shop and beer on tap; bike washing and maintenance station; good WiFi; great vibe and communal spaces.

Maja K.

Yelp
I stayed here with my husband for two nights and we really liked this place! First of all, the staff was great! They were very friendly and super helpful. We had just booked one night but liked it so much that we wanted to stay another. The were all booked on the type of room we were staying in, but they made it work for us anyway. Thank you so much for that guys! Also our room was not ready at check in, so they offered free beers to enjoy while we were waiting. We got the room 20 minutes after check-in so it wasn't that bad - thanks to the beer. The area has a very special vibe and the rooms are so cool and well designed. There is a common area with a kitchen, that is free for the guest to use. That was super nice, because we have been traveling for weeks and we were seriously craving some homemade food! The only reason they don't get five stars is because of the cleaning of the room. There was long hair in the sink and the tub (that wasn't ours) and the room was a bit dusty. But the bed was clean! Maybe it is just a part of the vibe? All in all - we really liked it and would definitely stay there again!

Jon S.

Yelp
Just a quick review of the bar and lounge area. Stopped in for a drink and to check out the newly renovated place. Looks a million times better than it used to but only had two beers on tap and they were a little high for a what should have been mid afternoon happy hour. Probably won't return unless they up their game.

Yelp
This review is from my visit in early 2022. This place was the most filthy, disgusting, unsanitary lodging I have ever stayed at, and my experience there totally broke my trust in the hospitality industry. We arrived late and by the time we unloaded our car after a 14 hour drive in icy conditions and realized the state of this place, the office was closed. Even our dog was uncomfortable, and hid in the corner. There was no mattress protector on a stained mattress (totally a health-code violation), which had thin bedding with hair and stains on it with fabric pills. Even hospital bedding would had been a luxury in comparison. Fortunately, I had brought some emergency blankets, which I used as a barrier between myself and the filth, and I slept on top of in effort to not expose myself to the disgusting mattress and bedding. The paint was literally peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The fixtures were all gross. Moldy shower curtain and tub with hair in it. It had a 'heater' that ran so loudly off and on all night through a hole in the wall, making it impossible to sleep. And yet it didn't manage to even keep the room warm enough. This place is the literal definition of a HOLE IN THE WALL. We promptly found other lodging and checked out as soon as the office was open in the morning. I felt physically gross after that experience and showered immediately after getting to our last minute AirBnb, and I washed our blankets. It's been a year and a half and that place still gives me the creeps. I was reminded of it after driving past another one of their other locations recently, and the experience still lingers. I'm very careful now about researching lodging ahead of time.

Jeanne F.

Yelp
As with previous reviews- the theme is clear- it's a great idea but poorly executed. The bad: climate control system does not work; cafe was weekly staffed and an earlier opening would be helpful; linens are poor quality- though the mattress was comfortable. The good: Location great for MTB trail access and having Cogwild on-site a huge plus; the manager Jesse went above and beyond to try to help make up for lack of promised AC; beer on tap and outdoor areas were enjoyed.

Nicole P.

Yelp
We recently stayed in Bend and I chose this hotel for the price originally but I am so glad that we stayed here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming and the room itself was great. The hammocks were a fun touch! You can buy a lot of the stuff in your room..including the yeti cooler. Some people might think that is tacky..but I thought it was cool! There is a pool and hot tub and various grills and fire pits throughout the grounds. Overall great experience and I would love to stay here again!

Sharon P.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stay here - very friendly and helpful staff, low-key and quiet, very dog friendly. Close to a dog park and nice trail to the river, so great for the dog! Hammocks in the room were fun. Room was clean and comfy. Thank you!

Cory S.

Yelp
This place is just cool! Free street bicycle rentals for going into town are a definite plus. There is a nice trail into town, too. While LOGE promotes experiencing the outdoors (and Central Oregon is Outdoor "Heaven") there is plenty of relaxation here that I didn't want to leave. I stayed in a Hostel bed and it was perfect for me as I hate paying an outrageous amount to just sleep in a bed. The staff was super friendly and even let me check in early. The cafe is adequate and there are many different types of board games for families and friends to play. You honestly can't beat the location, either. Perfectly placed between Bachelor and Bend. Oh, if you do stay in a Hostel bed, there is a very nice full kitchen to use for making/baking whatever your stomach desires. Cheers.

Britney G.

Yelp
We got to our room tonight to find the entire room disgusting. Hair all over the pillows & several hairs in between the bedsheets. The floors had chunks of hair & who know what all over the floor everywhere like it had never been cleaned. Nasty stuff stuck to the remote. Brown chunks of stuff stuck to the pillow. Chunks of something all over the microwave. We had family in the room next to us and their room was no better. It was so gross we had to leave & get a different hotel. I called to give them an opportunity to help us and they told us there was nothing they could do tonight. They will deal with it tomorrow so we left. I have never seen a hotel so dirty in my life. I can handle a hair or two or some dirt but this is absolute filth!! Very sad because it is a really cute place with a lot of potential. But we won't be going back.

Christian T.

Yelp
Stayed here at the Bunk House which is like a Hostel. Love the vibe of this place. Clearly they cater to the outdoor adventurer and enthusiast. Nestled in a grove of pines along the highway it's only minutes away from the Deschutes river along an easy walking path. The cafe and bar is an awesome place to chill and relax. Good beer, coffee and their breakfast sandwich is delish. Service is awesome and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. If you don't mind sharing a room with a stranger the bunkhouse is a great and cost effective way to stay here. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
When I booked LOGE as my hotel, I had no idea what to expect. However, I've definitely found a place I will be returning to so soon. I arrived on Thursday and was able to check in early with no issues. The woman working the front desk even suggested a few close by trails that I could hike which wouldn't require any extra gear (However the hotel did offer snow shoe rentals at a very reasonable price) I was impressed with the accommodations. The room was clean and trendy and resembled more of an apartment than your typical hotel. The room was also stocked with plenty of gear that you were welcome to use during your stay and could purchase if you chose to do so upon your departure. On Friday I got a call that the hotel's running water was out, but I was still welcome to stay if I was willing to deal with that. They provided water jugs and it really wasn't much of an issue for me at all. I was thankful to not have to move hotels and was impressed with the way the staff handled the situation. I spent a lot of Friday night in the super comfy front desk lodge drinking local beer and watching christmas movies with the guys who work at LOGE. Since I was traveling alone, I was grateful for somewhere I could enjoy a few beers and stay warm and the warm company was a welcome bonus. Saturday morning I headed back up to the front desk area hoping for some coffee which Jordan was able to whip up with some great latte art. I even stuck around for a few games of "go fish" with Jordan and Doug. If you're going to Bend-- Stay at LOGE! I cannot thank the staff enough for making my first solo trip such a great one. The beautiful space and hospitable employees made me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. I can't wait for my next trip. Thank you again & see you soon!

Yelp
We stayed the night and loved this place. Coffee, beer and wine bar, and even food!! Fire pits and conversation areas all around. Rooms are amazing. If you're an outdoor lover this place is just right. And a gift when we checked out!!

Yelp
You will not know where the office is, there is none. You will not know where the front desk is, there is none. Everything has excess signage, but no signs for office/front desk and no signs for where the loop of room numbers start. You will drive around it and still not find your room that you booked online, so you will have to drive back to the entrance and park blocking traffic to get out and go into the cafe. There a dull person will say that is the front desk and point to where your room is. You will go back out to your car and realize you do not know where to park to access your room, because the unhelpful staff didn't care to say. So you will have to go back into the cafe and ask where you are supposed to park to access your room. She will act drained to bother to have to tell you to park behind the front building, and then you will have to ask if the back of your building has your room number and you will be told no. Then you get back to your car and drive around again and see that you will be forced to make trips back and forth to the parking lot behind your building to bring in your things, when all the other rooms have car spots right at their doors. Not you, you have to work. Not only are you doing the office's jobs, you are schlepping loads. When you do get to your room, the door is already open. The light switch does nothing, many lamps bulbs are burnt out. The room is freezing and the floor is plastic and the walls are paper, it is like a shack. You are so exhausted and put out that you go straight to take a bath, but when it begins to fill there are someone's pubes floating in it. During COVID-19? No thanks. You start the wall heater that runs like a diesel semi and crawl into bed and wish you'd just chosen motel 6. This place is a vending machine -- you do all the thinking all the communicating all the work. It is a gimmick, not a comfortable place whatsoever.

Yelp
We booked 2 rooms here with my grandson's lacrosse tournament. The room itself was OK, but that's were it ended! This is a Expensive motel with no Customer Service at all.... the buildings are spread out across terrible parking lots, there is no lighting at all at night! No internet or cell service at this place, I called to talk to someone and was told that was normal. I asked him why they would not have phones in the rooms for people to use in case of an Emergency. The front desk is only staffed till 6 or 7pm or if something was to happen to a child you would have to drive them yourself to the Hospital! THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY! They were short staffed and for 2 days there was no maid service, we paid the rate, they just didn't do their job. WE all emailed to report this and was told we would get a 10% discount, well that's not OK either! I tried to call the management in the main office and no one ever calls back! If I wanted to go camping it would not have cost us over $200 per night to do so. Not happy!

Yelp
Every couple of years, I take my daughter to Bend to do a few days of mountain biking. We try to to this on a budget, so I'm always looking for a good place to stay for under $200 a night. When I ran across LOGE on Expedia, I was intrigued by the reviews and by the ability to leave our room and immediately jump on our bikes and hit the trails. So, first of all, the staff was outstanding. Check in was great. The staff gave us the rundown on the free bikes available for use and the rental bikes. We were a little early and our room was not ready yet, but they welcomed us to use the bathroom in the lobby to change into our biking gear and to park the rig there while we took our first ride. The room was nothing really fancy, but it was clean, nicely renovated, and very comfortable. The bed was nice and my daughter slept great on the sofa bed. Being able to pull our bikes off the rack and bring them into the room with us is a must when you're traveling with expensive bikes. The bike hangers in the room were a very nice touch, allowing us to secure our bikes but also have them out of the way. Being that this trip was all about biking, I loved the bike maintenance area, complete with a bike washing station. It was nice to be able to wash the dust off the bikes before hanging them in the room. The outdoor areas were great. We didn't get to wander around much or use the amenities, but just being able to relax in deck chairs in the sun after a long day of riding (and of course with some great beer from any one of Bend's stellar breweries) in a nice grassy area was a plus. The ONLY issue we had is that we lost the hot water in our room on the last day of our stay. Maintenance was not able to fix the issue so that we could shower after our final ride. The staff was great, though, and gave us access to the showers in the hostel area, which was just a short walk from our room. Overall, if you aren't looking for high end luxury, you can't beat this place!

Yelp
This is kind of a cool hip modern 1970 decor. Lots of plywood accents, platform foam bed, bike rack and hammock in the room. It's comfortable, but definitely not high end. It's very quiet and relaxing. I would stay here again for work or outdoor activity.

Yelp
Hammock in the room?! Um...yes please! Also, they also placed a Yeti cooler in the room that can take with you on day trips while you're staying at this magical place. Pet-friendly, great outdoor area, heated pool, jacuzzi, and a cool outdoor store with lots of things that you will want to spend your hard-earned dollars on! There's a community smoker outside. I mean...it's pretty awesome. The assistant manager, Ross, tells me that they are in the process of adding more details such as a cafe with 10 Barrel beer, tent camping, a hostel, and deluxe rooms. I'm definitely going back for outdoor concerts, movies, etc. This place is a great find! Happy that we got snowed on during our backpacking trip and retreated to this haven. Oh yeah, mountain bikes for rent and free city bikes to use. And trails that start from the lodge. Need I say more? Love this place!
