Fantastic quaint hotel, full of charm, with attentive owners. We always stay there when we come to Blois, whether as a stop over or for a longer stay because it’s frankly the best place if you want to have an authentic French experience in a traditional style auberge. Perfect location to enjoy everything Blois has to offer within walking distance of all main attractions. The rooms with river views are really nice (go for a superior, it really worth it - and book direct via the hotel website for a cheaper price guarantied). The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the breakfast is to die for, with the best French products on offer - always a highlight of our stay. They turn it into a restaurant for dinner which we experienced once, and I must say that we had a lovely meal too. Note: Blois has a market on Saturday mornings which really worth a visit (3 mins walk from the hotel). You can walk down from the train station to the Hotel in 14 mins (nice slope all the way down) if you don’t have big heavy luggage it’s really enjoyable. Book without hesitation!

Our last night in the Loire Valley was spent in this cute and quaint hotel. The owner was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which we all agreed was our best meal of the whole trip! Highly recommended.

A treat for those cycling the Loire valley, the oldest hotel in town, very authentic and bijoux. As you would expect from a family run business who have been here since... well a long time.... the patrons have a second sense of what each guest needs, and who work tirelessly to make your stay unique. Bikes are secure, bike charging available, and the setting is perfect for exploring the old town. The restaurant courtyard area is particularly attractive in the summer, set in an oasis of plants and statues, with an impressive menu.... unbeatable

We spent two nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it. Our one regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! The management was extremely kind and helpful, the room was charming and had a gorgeous view of the Loire, and the bed was very comfortable. If you stay here, you absolutely must enjoy at least one dinner at the restaurant and I recommend having breakfast at the hotel each morning too. We spent a week traveling around France and the two nights, one dinner, and two breakfasts we had here were absolutely highlights of our entire trip. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Classy. Cozy. The house is well maintained, 400 years old and sooo romantic. The stuff is helpful and friendly, they make you feel at home. And the breakfast- I felt just in heaven. Please, guys, don't change, Keep this level, touching perfection... Believe me, a lot of your guests will keep Blois in their very hearts, because of you .

I stayed here for one night while cycling the Loire River. The owner was very friendly and helpfully stayed past the normal reception closing time to let me check in. The hotel is very well located, close to the Chateau and town center. There is secure bike storage. The room is tiny, but was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, although I wasn't a fan of needing to boil my own egg.

This was a "real find" service was great and very friendly. Room really comfortable and lovely breakfast served in the dining room. We loved the quirkiness of the old building and the position was really central. We ate in the hotel terrace and the quality of food and the choice was exceptional. We had an issue with our car and Thierry was so helpful sorting this out for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to be back ourselves.

We have stayed at this hotel a good number of times over the last fifteen years or so and the high standards have been maintained over this period. It has a quiet relaxing ambience and is ideally situated for access to the town. We always take the opportunity to dine at the hotel and have never been disappointed .
