I had to cancel my booking because my plans changed - However, I wanted to leave a review to say that the staff were helpful and quick to respond to any questions or emails. I am sad not to be staying; they helped arrange airport transfers and gave me all the information I needed.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The small family run hotel was spotless and the staff were very welcoming and took great care of their guests. The restaurant wasn’t fully open when we were there as they had only reopened due to the virus. This meant we could only eat in the first night unless we ordered takeaway which they then served. The menu meal we did have the first night was very good and would have eaten in another night if it had been on offer. They were getting back to normal restaurant meals the following week. Breakfast was a simple cold buffet which they served due to virus restrictions. In the evening you could enjoy a drink on their terrace or pretty seating area.|The surrounding area is very pretty and very quiet with lots of walks and little villages to drive to. The village itself is tiny with only a few B and Bs and another hotel plus a small cafe by the river. No shops of any kind.|A great place for a getaway from it all break.

This hotel is situated in a secluded, picturesque location within woodland. The dining area is pleasant and comfortable and the food is of a high standard - both for breakfast and evening meal. The staff serving were efficient and friendly, as was the case with the staff at the reception.||The room was OK apart from the very small shower room/WC - dark and cramped. However, my companion had a room with more modern furnishings and a more light and spacious shower room.

Small room just for overnight stay (they have a restaurant and lounge) room is clean and comfortable, not luxury. Bed is large, flat screen TV, armchair, shower ok, small toilet. Friendly welcome, free parking, no noise from neighbouring rooms. Just for the room, I paid 55 € which is a great rate. In a big city like London, such a room fetches 180 €. Exceptional surroundings for hiking, France 20 minutes away by car. The first impression is "it's quite ok".

We ate dinner at this hotel's restaurant. Upon arrival the waiter took our coats and led us to our table which had quite a nice view. We were offered a menu and wine card. The menu itself didn't have a lot of choices but there was something for every occasion (including vegetarian). The starters were three small apperitives; a small toast with brie, a puff with escargot and a mini sandwich with cream cheese and smoked ham. For the main meal I chose the roasted piglet breast. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It came served with potatoes and cooked vegetables. My partner took the fish. A whole fish is a bit much but she instantly loved the taste. It was served with cooked vegetables and potatoes. For desert we shared a chocolate mousse which was served with a thin biscuit and whipped cream.

This logis is slightly remote but so worth while visiting for the food, accommodation and the welcome extended by the family. We have been visiting on and off for about 20 years on our own and sometimes with at least 20 friends in historic cars, mainly Caterham 7's

Very good place to eat with sincere service and qualitative food. If you're around and want to enjoy the regional hospitality in a typical setting near the wonderful Semois and a view on Rochehaut , I'd definitely advice to go there. It was a bit busy and just not enough personnel to follow (service was a bit slow), but that's just a detail. I would certainly go back when around.

Stopped here for lunch. They were welcoming even though we were scruffy walkers. The omelettes were excellent. Can't comment on the accommodation as we weren't staying overnight but it's a nice spot and the Semois valley is lovely
